I have bought this over and over! While it is not my HG, (which I may never find because what Im looking for is probably unattainable) it does a wonderful job most of the time. Most days this takes my short blonde wimpy lashes and makes them look full and long. It also holds the curl of my eyelash curler which is a must for me. Some days it just doesnt hold the curl, which I dont understand, but for most days it does its job. I wear contacts and cant have anything flaking in my eye, and this never has. It removes easily with Almay moisturizing eye makeup remover.

It really does make my lashes feel more soft than the other mascaras I've tried. It separates and volumizes at the same time, doesn't flake at all, and doesn't give me panda eyes at the end of the day. It does start to get clumpy over time, but that's expected esp of waterproof formulas. It also doesn't lengthen as much as I'd like. Overall, one of the best mascaras (high-end brands can't even compare!); this is one of my staples.

This was an OK mascara. It applied nicely and you can't beat the price, but for a waterproof mascara, this sure did smudge a lot. I won't be re-purchasing. The search goes on....

My lashes are thick, but stubby, so what I look for in a mascara is one that can give them the look of length and doesn't make a curl go flat. This delivered on that much but.....it smudged on me within an hour. There goes five bucks.

hmmm, my lashes were soft but not full..not exactly waterproof either!
if u have noticed, i really do not like maybelline, as it does not do what it claims. although this is quite cheap, i wouldnt want to waste any money on it!

This mascara really does leave your lashes full and soft! Generally I have no issues with clumping, although the formula does clump as it begins to age. Full 'n Soft is more natural than dramatic, but it definitely provides a lot of volume. It makes my lashes look lush, and I like to brush my fingers along my lashline just to feel how soft my lashes are. I love trying out new mascaras, but I always find myself coming back to Full 'n Soft (Very Black).

Okay, I bought this because I was planning to spend a lot of time in and around water during our vacation. It worked well for the use I made of it. It stayed put when I got water splashed on my face in the pool and after a wave went over my head in the ocean. But I don’t know how it would have held up if I had swum underwater. I wasn’t crazy about the thin consistency of the formula and the look it gave my lashes when applied alone but I quickly found another way to use it. For the part of our vacation when we weren’t anywhere near water, I used it on top of my regular non-waterproof mascara to make it waterproof in case it rained. That is when I found this mascara’s best use for me: on TOP of my regular mascara to make my already darkened and thickened lashes even darker, thicker and longer and to give them a healthy, silky look. I got mine in Very Black. I loved its fat brush and the fact that the formula didn’t clump, smudge, flake or dry out my lashes. I was also pleased to find out how easy it was to remove with my dual-phase eye makeup remover. Now I am curious about the non-waterproof version. I rarely use waterproof mascaras so I usually try a different one every time I happen to need one. I might repurchase Maybelline’s Full’N Soft waterproof mascara while on vacation if the new waterproof mascara I’ll be trying out at the time does not work as well or look as good on my lashes. continued >>

i got this in a bogof offer at rite aid. i got my beloved volume express waterproof (the one that has a dark tube and a light cap) and this for free, at first i really liked it, which was surprising because i didnt like the non waterproof. it held a nice curl and gave me wow lashes, however by the end of the day, i had panda eyes at the end of my work day-4:30 and i put this stuff on around 8:30 ish. wont repurchase because it smudges, it doesnt matter for the tube i have, i might finish it, it was free.

I wear contacts and this mascara really irritated my eyes. I thought it was allergies but when I switched to L'oreal Voluminous I stopped rubbing them constantly. I do like that F'n'S doesn't clump and rarely needs to be combed out. But I won't be purchasing again due to the irritation.

this is horrible. it is NOT WATERPROOF at all !! i had swim P.E and it always gave me panda eyes that were hard to get rid of . terrible mascara. i have tried numerous maybelline waterproof mascaras, and they all suck. so i have given up on waterproof mascaras ! now, i am in love iwth CG Lash Exact. much better quality than FnS.
