I have a love hate relationship with this lotion, but overall it's good enough for repurchase.
First it can be very greasy and has a very powerful scent. However both of these problems I've learned to ease by simply putting on the lotion as soon as I get out of the shower (skin should not be driping wet just moist).
All that aside this lotion really does keep my skin moisturized. I also use it on my lips at bedtime, it works wonders.

*This was greasy & never sunk in, so it never truly moisturized. Also, it had a cheap, strong fake chocolate scent that lasted ALL day (not good, for me). continued >>

How can I be in my 30's without ever having heard of Palmers? I read a review in Allure and after checking out MUA reviews I purchased the cocoa butter vitamin E enhanced lotion. The smell is a little strong for me - ok it's a lot strong, but wow does this moisturize. I cover my feet in it every night and wake up with soft sandle ready toes! Just wonderful. I don't think I could use all over the body because of the smell, but for my feet I would buy again and again!

Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula was pretty good! It moisturized my legs really well, but I found it quite greasy. I had to wait about half an hour before putting clothes on to let it soak in. Also I don't suggest using this for your face. It will clog pores, which causes breakouts (you do the math ;)). I did LOVE the smell though! I find it does even out skin tone, and if you are developing stretch marks, I reccomend using this every other day and they'll be gone in no time! Overall, this product is one of the only moisturizers I will use on my legs and I'd reccomend this to anyone with dry skin (except on face :P)! Oh, and also I suggest you use this product about half an hour before going to bed because if you use it in the day time it will give the illusion of greasy, shinier skin.

I've tried most of the Palmers Cocoa Butter range and I'm very pleased, the one in the tub moisturises really well but is quite greasy so it would be better in the winter, it gives you smooth, glowing, even skin. I actually prefer the lotion though, and it has a nice chocolatey coconut smell mmm.

Terrible stuff. I could imagine this would be good if I wanted to put on my thong bikini and go wrestle for money in a bar with another chick in an inflatable pool. Nice and slippery. That's not how I want to feel all day long. It takes forever to soak in, and seen as I have to actually DO things and not wait for it to soak in, I won't be buying this goo again. That said it does smell good.

I love the smell - I own the whole Palmers Cocoa Butter range - it's divine! Having said this I agree with all the other reviews that with this particular product the packaging is unpractical and annoying!
It's great for an after-sun, a moisturiser, great for smoothing skin and reducing stretch marks and it smells great - not as good as the normal Palmers Cocoa Butter though.

I love this lotion! I had used Aveeno for a long time, but felt like it left my skin feeling weirdly dry, even though it was moisturized. After reading the MUA reviews, I decided to try this, and am so glad I did! Like many of the other reviewers, I don't really like the bottle - seems like it would be much better in a pump bottle, or at least one with a wide neck. However, the product inside is wonderful. It is very moisturizing and seems to sink in really quickly (I've been in Arizona for the past week, and this has been great!) I love the smell - very chocolatey.

This is a great product for someone with really dry skin. I use this in the winter time when my skin starts to dry out. Keeps it moisturized and soft, not really a big fan of the scent, but it doesn't last too long.
