I love this color. It makes my green eyes really pop. The finish is nice - it really is my go-to crease color. Totally underrated. I ♥ Haux!
My first ever MAC purchase, but just not the color for me. A Soft muted rosy brown (Satin) sounded beautiful, and I was very excited to give it a try.
The texture was good, but I just don't think pink/brown eye shadows are good for me (made me look tired). Very uninspiring and just plain disappointed, whenever I looked at it.
For reference I'm a NW/NC 25 or Light-Medium with Neutral/Beige Undertone.
Love this as a crease color. It's a very natural looking and blends out almost anything well. I like to pair it with Naked Lunch on my lid.
Haux is Haute. It's a dirty dark pink that is great in the crease, especially for tan or dark-skinned ladies.
Ok, after wanting this for a long time I finally bought it. Wore it with Naked Lunch and so far loving the look! A nice soft pink e/s good for Spring!
Haux is a very versatile shade. I have fair yellow toned skin and normally wouldn't wear what I consider kind of a purple/plum tone. However, the MA turned me on to it and it looks great with my green eyes. There is just enough brown in it for it to work with warm toned skin. It is also wearable for day or night.
I went through a makeup purging a few months ago, throwing out colors I hadn't worn often. I got rid of a bunch of pink/purple shadows that I'd gotten from GWPs and went a bit crazy, throwing out my Haux as well. Really wish I had it back!
Haux is a very versatile matte e/s. Like Soft Brown, this is great to blend away all the harsh lines. I also use this to contour the sides of my nose b/c it looks fleshy and not noticable at all. I can see how the other reviewers think this can be chalky though. Not sure if I would buy it again (1/2 way thru my 2nd pot), but I'm glad I have it to tone down the lustre and veluxe pearl e/s.
Perfect matte plum/brown eye color. Looks great in the crease on bright blue eyes. Paired with MAC Jest pink shimmer shadow. I think this color is better for a day time look!
I bought this color after receiving color advice from a MAC makeup artist. It was suppose to bring out my blue eyes paired with All That Glitters on the lid. It was a nice combination with those two colors and it probably brings out the blue. Unfortunately, it did not look nice on my skin at all since it turned very reddish and looked like I was having an allergic reaction or was sick, especially in daytime light. I want to go for a more brown shadow next time without the red tones in it, they just don't work for me at all! I have fair skin with cool undertones. I would not buy this color again.

A really pretty natural looking neutral shade. This shade is matte but easy to blend and pretty for everyday, rather than a more frosty gold color which to me is more for having a more sexy evening look. I like this color in crease and on eyelid, I don't add any highlighter, I find that would defeat the more natural hue of this shade.
