I'm awfully diisappointed wiith this cleanser because it didn't remove my foundation completely. I use it sometimes as simply a cleanser when I don't have any foundation on, but that's it. Don't waste your money on this!

I bought this on a whim when the Sephora Friends and Family sale was going on. I am so disappointed with this product. It didn't completely remove my makeup, and it also burned my eyes beyond belief. I gave it a few shots, but am very disappointed in it. Back to Sephora it goes.

I was very sceptical about this cleanse at first, but it really surprised me. Wonderful texture: soft, light and weightless, caresses your skin and is a treat. Has a very nice light, almost unnoticeable scent. It does cleanse the skin and washes the make up perfectly, it also leaves the skin with a beautiful moisturised feeling. I don't use this as a cleanse though, but as a face make up remover it is just right. It is a tad pricey, but still worth it.

This "make-up remover" NOTE not a cleanser - is fabulous. I was amazed because it removes everything - long wearing lipstick, waterproof eye make-up, layers of make-up, etc.

It is far superior to its' Prescriptives competitor and substantially cheaper.

If you are looking to quickly and effectively remove make-up, this is the product for you.

It is important to mention that you will want to follow up with your normal skin care regiment accordingly.

I think people need to realize that this is NOT TESTED on the eyes and is NOT formulated to be an eye makeup remover - thus the burning and stinging from the reviewers who attempt to use it for this purpose. Clinique actually has a Take the day off - Eye makeup remover, which is a dual-phase oil/water remover and is excellent at removing the toughest mascara without eye stinging. The second point is that this is a makeup remover, not to replace your facial cleanser. Although it's unfortunate that it seems to cause some skin sensitivity for people, it's great at removing facial makeup - what it's meant to do.

First of all, I want to tell you that I am completely sold on using Clinique for just about all my makeup, and all of my skin care for sure, and out of the 7 to 8 years of using this brand, I never once tried this. Man, I was missing out! This cleanser is so fabulous, and makes my skin so baby soft and smooth when I use it. It's fabulous at removing all my makeup. I love it!

i have to rate this product, since i have to tell ppl w/ sensitive skin NOT to use this product. I was attracted by its purple bottle, but now I am very disappointed...cuz it burns my skin, and i got RASH all over my face right after i used this product....HATE THIS PRODUCT!!! Im going to return this item tmr (i just bought it for 2 days...) and stick with Vichy 3 in 1 make-up remover....
again...if you have sensitive skin..DO NOT buy this product!

I received a sample of this and won't be purchasing a full size because I find this product pointless. It does remove facial makeup but if you use it on your eyes, it stings like hell. It does make my face really soft afterwards though so I guess that's like the only good thing about this product. It smells like yogurt which is interesting.

I don't understand all the negative reviews for this product either; perhaps I just happen to enjoy a more fortunate experience with it.

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk is a milky lotion cleanser that effortlessly and efficiently removes my day moisturiser with sunscreen, matte-finish liquid foundation, powder bronzer and lipgloss, when used together with facial cotton pads. It leaves my combination skin (oily in T-zone, dry in cheeks) smooth and supple to the touch, and skin feels comfortable after use. Because of the shea butter content, this product would be better suited to the needs of normal to dry skin; those with oilier skin types might not be pleased with the emolliency. Clinique does recommend this as ideal for drier skins.

The instructions also indicate to follow this product with the 3-Step Skin Care, so in that regard this is designed to be more of a pre-cleanser makeup remover. I follow with my usual cleanser after and my skin is left perfectly clean with no residue whatsoever. This has replaced Dior Cleansing Gelee as my preferred makeup remover and I have already repurchased a second bottle to keep on hand.

I was excited to try this product because I absolutely love the cleansing balm version but even thow removes my make up well left this yucky film on my skin,it stung my eyes I always follow with another cleanser as I think it is not a deep cleanser make sure you don't use it around your eyes or you will be in serious pain I will use it up, but that's about it.Will not be purchasing again because cleanse off oil by mac is far superior
