This is a staple in my skincare routine. I remember when I first hit puberty and my mother whipped this out of her closet and told me to use it. I love how creamy it applies and while the granules are kinda intimidating, I personally don't find them too harsh. I massage this onto my skin for 45secs after washing my face with a Noxema cleanser. The two combined on a daily basis leaves my skin so clean and soft. I especially like that the scrub has 2% salicylic acid so it gives an extra boost to help fight blemishes. I can see the differance in my pores when I try to skip this step to save time. Immediately after using, the pores are noticeably smaller. This is a holy grail exfoiliating scrub!
I have used this product for years, basically ever since I started washing my face with a "real" cleanser. It works great for my skin. Perfect texture for everyday exfoliation and keeps my face nice & clear. It seems like every time I get "bored" with it and try something else, I pretty much return to this before I can even finish the bottle of whatever else I try. It's a nice, basic, and cost-effective cleanser for my normal (yet finicky- if I am at all inconsistent in my routine I do begin to break out) skin. continued >>
I wish I had read reviews here before buying this, but I've also found the granules to be too rough! I wouldn't recommend for anyone to use this on their face but it would work as a body scrub/exfoliant.

This is the only thing that keeps my breakouts at bay. I've used this consistently for the past couple of years. It makes my skin feels soft and incredibly clean. I buy it in the tub and I use this in the morning and at night. My husband has suffered from acne since he was a preteen and this has helped him considerably! It's a holy grail product of mine!

I LOVE THIS STUFF! its amazing. my pores are super dirty and the pore strips barely do anything. this scrub smells wonderful and it works amazingly well. my pores are clean and my face is smooth. i use cocoa butter after the wash and my skin is super soft the next day, totally buy this again
I actually really like this product. I bought it after hearing many good reviews on Youtube and other review sites (such as this one). The packaging is really nice; it looks very professional. I like that it has a squeeze tube. The actual product is really amazing. It smells absolutely wonderful. The fresh smell of apricots makes me feel really nice. The scrub is nice and creamy, but don't let that scare you if you have acne prone skin, because it will not break you out as you wash it off and it leaves no residue. The beads that exfoliate your skin are made up of ground up walnuts. Some people say that walnuts are too harsh for your skin, but honestly I find this scrub fairly gentle. As long as you don't use this too much, this scrub is fine to use on your face. If you find it to be too harsh, you may need to cut down on the amount of times you use it or you may need to try the formula for sensitive skin.

My whole skincare routine revolves around this product...without it, my face erupts. I use this in the shower every day, and as my nighttime cleanser when I wear makeup. It keeps my pores clear, my skin smooth, and my acne dramatically at bay. I tried to switch to the Wal Mart brand equivalent and there was no comparison. I will repurchase this for as long as they make it.
Yikes! This scrub is definitely not for acne-prone skin. For the first couple of days, I loved how soft it left my skin. Then I started breaking out in whiteheads all over my face, even in places where my skin is normally clear (I normally only get hormonal acne on my chin). Since this is an acne product, I didn't realize it was the culprit. I used it for two weeks before I figured it out. Within three days of stopping my skin was back to normal. Also, I've since read that the scrubbing granules in this scrub are too sharp and cause micro-tears in the skin, which are bad on both a short- and long-term basis. I do not recommend this scrub.
This product did not to anything good for my skin. I think I actually broke out more when I started using this product. And a reviewer below commented how it's bad for your skin- I've read the same thing. Someone compared it to a pore being like a bowl, and the apricot pieces would be like bricks, and imagine filling the bowl with bricks- it's damaging. You should only get exfoliators with beads that won't tear your skin up and deform your pores. The smell was nice, but overall, I will not be touching this product again.
I have been using this scrub for over 5 years. When I use it consistently, I notice a decrease in breakouts. It can be harsh when used on the face, so I like to mix it with my cleanser (currently Cetaphil Gentle) to tone down the roughness. That way I still get the acne-fighting benefits, but there's a buffer. I like to leave it on for a minute or two to let the salicylic acid have a chance to work. It works well on body breakouts and general body exfoliation too. I use it on my chest, arms, and shoulders a few times a week and my skin is left soft and smooth. I use it on my bikini line pre-shaving and I don't get any razor burn. It also makes a great foot scrub! It's very cheap and even though I use it every time I shower in some way, one tube lasts months. It's definitely one of my favorite drugstore finds and I will use it forever!
