Best and gentlest eye makeup remover. It is a great moisturizer for your lashes and has other great uses as well. Good buy for such a cheap price.

Ehrmagerdddd vaseline is so brilliant! I use it to remove my makeup. I use it at night on my feet with a pair of socks to keep my toesies smooth. I use it on my lips to restore their softness. I use it for my cuticles. My eyelashes for growth. And it costs a good 3 dollars, 4 at the most. It certainly is a miracle product.

I will say that the main thing to look out for is if you have oily skin. I have combo skin that leans towards oily in the summer so I always make sure to wash my face well after using it to remove my makeup, and I definitely make sure not to get a bunch of vaseline around my lipline (I'm blackhead prone in that area). I haven't had any breakouts though so it just depends on the person. There's a reason every grandma has this in their bathroom/on their dresser; it works. I will definitely repurchase.

I've all but phased Vaseline out of my life except in one area. I can't even use it on my lips without it causing bumps around my mouth (not a good look). For the most part, raw unrefined shea butter has replaced vaseline in almost every task for which I used to use Vaseline -- with one important exception. There is one purpose that will always keep me buying this stuff....keeping my feet baby soft! For me, nothing, absolutely nothing softens like Vaseline slathered on the feet at bedtime and then covered with cotton socks. I've looked far and wide, and I've spent a whole lot of money over the years looking for "sexier", more exciting solutions that end up not working at all. So I keep coming back to plain 'ol Vaseline petroleum jelly. It is the only thing that keeps my feet so soft, and for that purpose, it is irreplaceable.

Great moisturizer for anything dry or flaked or chafed when nothing else works. Usually use it overnight as it is really thick and goopy.

Whenever my lips are sore, I just put a dab of vaseline on at night. By the morning, I simply wipe away any dry skin with a damp flannel. It works wonders :)

I just love vaseline. Whenever I have a skin issue this always fixes it in no time! It cures damaged/wounded skin better than anything else. If I have a wound this is the best for healing it. When I was in the hospital after an accident, they also only put vaseline on my wounds and they healed very fast.
I also find it very moisturizing. It works wonders on dry feet, elbows & hands. But I even like it for my face. My skin is very clog prone and this does not clog my pores actually (shocking, I know). It's one of the few things I can use on my face that doesn't clog me! It's way too shiny to use during the day, but I like to use a very thin layer at night when my (oily) skin is feeling tight. I especially love it if I put a hyaluronic acid on my skin first and then seal it in with the vaseline.
The best of it all, it's dirt cheap! I am never without this. continued >>

Having been employed by a fantastic natural body product company, and subscribing myself to a largely natural approach to body care, the big ol' hippie in me is sad to be admitting Vaseline is one of the best things a sensitive Northern girl could ask for for dry hands, lips and especially, feet. Dirt cheap. Unscented. Protection!!

I have tried all manner of balms, butters, raw shea and cocoa butters, nut and seed oils, beeswax based lotions and potions and nothing has helped my disgustingly dry (in spite of constant care!) feet and hands like good ol', petrochemical Vaseline. My mum was right- this stuff is the best. Make no mistake, though- this is not ADDING moisture to your skin, this is SEALING YOUR SKIN'S MOISTURE IN. For me and my home climate, this is far more important.

I use very little, and massage ONLY into the dry spots on my body. When it hits -40C in the winter, this goes on my hands, lips and around my nose before leaving the house. And my feet...Oh the amazing change! Most other heavy duty foot products feel great initially, but generally wear off by lunch. My feet are actually SMOOTH at the end of the day! DH doesn't get his legs scratched by sandpaper heels at bedtime!

I have a big tub at home, but prefer to buy the smaller squeeze tubes, which are great bedside or purse size. Not as much chance for potential product contamination. I do wish they would make a BIG squeeze tube though!
One lippie off ONLY due to using a petroleum byproduct on my body (in VERY SMALL AMOUNTS, but still! Potential carcinogenic contamination? Yeeesh.), not due to its functionality. Which rules.

i use this on sparse spots on my eyebrows, and it really helped the hair grow back faster! i also use a little bit of vaseline and apply it like mascara before i go to sleep because i feel like i have less fallout, and my lashes got longer since i started doing this! i feel like vaseline is perfect after exfoliating your lips, and well pretty much everywhere. i dont think you should use vaseline during the day because it can cause burns easily from the sun, but as a night moisturizer this is the most affortable and best product!
tips:i like using this as a cuticle softner when i dont plan to wear nail polish. apply at night ofcourse! hope you try it :)

I don't use this as a lipbalm, I found EOS works better, but use it on my face in the winter, sometimes a little under my foundation if it's too hot for primer, and on my elbows and legs. I really love this for my legs, because I have extremely sensitive skin, and get razor burn very easily, and most lotions irritate my skin if I use them after shaving, but this doesn't.
