I have finally found the best mascara ever! Over the years I have tried them all: covergirl lashblast, covergirl lashperfection, maybelline one by one, falsies, full and soft, l'oreal voluminous, Mac haute and naughty, benefit they're real, buxom lash, diorshow, plushlash, and many others! None of them have compared to Lancôme hypnose in my opinion! It goes on nicely and never clumps, and it defines and lengthens my lashes while also adding a sufficient amound of volume. It doesn't smudge either, even in the hot summer weather! I definitely recommend this mascara to anyone who is looking for an awesome makeup bag staple!

I like this mascara. I usually use two applications to give more volume and find that I can make my outer lashes look thicker than my inner ones which is one of my fav looks.

Wow, I've never seen so little product for so much money! This product costs more than $1 per 0.1 fl oz ($26 for 0.21 fl oz). That's intense. But it's proved to be THE easiest mascara I have ever used. I tested all the Hypnose versions in Sephora & I liked this one the best (the box says it's custom volume mascara, so you build the amount of volume you want). With only 1 coat (which doesn't clump, goop, or stick my lashes together) I have beautifully lifted, long lashes that give me a fresh, wide-eyed look. I was surprised by this outcome. My lashes are volumized but look neither spidery nor false. The look is naturally sophisticated but not trying too hard. I'm happy the formula doesn't smudge on me after an hr or more (like some other mascaras!). Washes off easily with no smudgy residue, another plus. Fantastic mascara, so I went out & bought a tube (as well as the waterproof version) & suddenly now I'm out $50+ but for the fabulous lash look I get better & with far less effort than any other mascara I've ever tried, the cost was worth it. I just hope 0.21 fl oz will last me a decent while, b/c I don't want to have to buy this too frequently (which I refuse). I love this mascara.I have to say this is one of my favorites.This mascara gives you curl length and tons of volume.There is no cumpling,and I will always repurchase this mascara.

This is my absolute favourite mascara without any doubt. I'm the sort of person who can't resist anything new so I have about 30 mascaras at a time, but somehow I always find myself reaching for this one.

I don't have the waterproof version, but even then I have no problems with it running off in the day. It is designed for buildable volume and I think it really works. A lot of people say it's clumpy but I've never had this problem. I find that the brush holds quite a lot, so as you are layering it, there is no need to go back into the tube for more. I just apply a bit to each eye, wait a few seconds and then add another layer and so on until I have the volume I want. I think if you ry and put it on too quickly all at once this is where you might run into problems, but waiting a few seconds between applications REALLY works.

People have complimented me on how full and long my lashes look quite a few times. The wand gives good separation and adds length and lift. It lasts a whole day - I even fell asleep in it once and when I woke up the next morning my lashes still looked great!

It picks up all the little lashes right to the edges to make eyes look wide and bright. It's a little more on the expensive side but I wear it every day and a tube lasts well over a month so it's definitely worth it.

Got this in a travel kit and was instantly let down by it. It elongates lashes but does not offer fullness and volume - you can practically see every single lash and the gap in between. Would not buy a full size!

Wasn't impressed. My eyelashes are moderately long on their own and this mascara didn't live up to the hype for me. It made my eyelashes appear clumpy and short.

Don't let the short bristles and thin brush fool you--this delivers quick and buildable volume to your lashes! It does not flake or clump, has a super light formula, and leaves your lashes very soft and flexible. With three sweeps of this brush on my lashes, I can apply more product than with ten sweeps of my LashBlast Fusion. I can tell that this is super high quality, worth every penny! I swear by this mascara! (And this one isn't even the waterproof one!)

Possibly my favourite mascara for everyday wear. Firstly, my lashes are always in good condition even after extensive wear, and that's another thing: no need to re-apply for hours. Feels comfortable and natural on lashes, but looks amazing. Ticks all my boxes for deep colour, good even coating, and no flaking. Flexibility in lashes once coated is an indication af a goof formula that will not harm lashes : and you notice this when you remove your mascara, because the lash fall out is the closest to zero it will ever be.

I really like this mascara. It applies quite wet, but so smooth and clump-free. I don't get tons of volume, but I get lovely length, separation and blackness. I find it curls my lashes without need of a separate curler, and the curl stays - probably because the formula feels so lightweight. I look so wide awake when I put this on in the morning - it really opens up my eyes. Application is super fast (because I don't have to be combing or tweezering(!!) out clumps) and it stays pretty smudge free and immaculate till I remove it 12ish hours later. My lashes feel soft to the touch when I'm wearing even three coats, and they don't feel damaged or brittle when I remove my makeup (using cream cleanser and a muslin). The first time I tried Hypnose, I found it a dried out, clumping mess - well, that must have been from a bad batch, and I'm so glad I re-purchased. Half a lippie off because the box claims it to be a volumising product, and I didn't really experience that; another half lippie off for the price, as I think you can get some incredible drugstore/high street mascaras for a fraction of the cost.
