Yes this is gentle - sort of. It tends to smear my mascara into big black stains around my cheekbones and eyebrows and I then have to really wash and wash to get it off. That part isn't so gentle. My Kiehls guy thought I would flip for this stuff but there is just no way it can compare to my Almay non-oily pads. I'll pass, thanks.

I've been using this for up to 4 years now, and while i love how there's no alcohol or oil in it, it is a little expensive for something i have to use quite a lot of to remove my makeup with - as i've found that Pond's makeup remover, like its cold cream, does the job pretty well at the fraction of the price.

I receive a trial-sized bottle in Kiehl's GWP recently. This is so far my best eye makeup remover. I have really sensitive and thin eye lids, and all other makeup removers either don't clean very well or are not gentle enough. I love the milky texture of this stuff -- I can apply it on my eyelids using my fingers instead of using special cotton balls. It can easily remove most of my waterproof mascaras (except some really stubborn ones, which I have to use Chanel's bi-phase). Will definitely purchase a bottle after finish this trial-sized one.

The best m/u remover I've ever used. It's expensive, but I've been using the same bottle forever and it hasn't run out. This removes even stage makeup easily.

Most eye make-up removers, no matter how expensive or cheap, sting my eyes really bad. It's not so with Kiehl's Supremely gentle eye Make-up remover. I love this stuff! It's extremely gentle and takes off the most stuborn Mascara's. Couldn't live with out this!

This works better than any other eye makeup remover I have ever tried, even gets off WaterProof mascara without stinging. I love it!

It's ok just not as good as Origins. Doesn't remove all my tough eye make up but definitely removes most and loosens the rest so it is easily removed when washing fave. Might buy again though, not sure yet.

I was also using clarins instant eyemakeup remover until I discovered this. I have very sensitive and dry skin around the eye area... this removed all my water resistant eye makeup gently and effectively. I wear eyeshadow, liquid eyeliner, and mascara. I received a sample of this when I purchased some products from kiehls. at first, I was afraid to try this since so many makeup removers either stung or dried out my skin. this is way better than clinique's naturally gentle eye makeup remover which caused an irritation. I love this so much so I bought a full size bottle the very next day. I have a problem with severely dry and sensitive eye area and yet I must wear eye makeup. I finally found my holy grail eye makeup remover which is so gentle and hydrating. I will save my clarins for the occassions when I use waterproof makeup. I regret not discovering this sooner..

It's gentle alright. It takes me almost 4 cotton balls per eye to get all my eye makeup off and even then it's not always completely taken off. I don't like the lotion b/c it gets into my eyes and I feel like I'm looking through a fog for a few minutes. I always have to watch my eyes out with water to get the lotion out of my eyes. I won't be buying this again. For a little bit more money, I think Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover works the best - only one cotton ball per eye.

This makeup remover is only okay, in my opinion. It *is* very gentle - thick and creamy, and non-irritating, but it honestly doesn't do that great a job removing my makeup. I have to swipe each eye at least twice, and for me that's too much - what's the use of it being "gentle" if you have to rub your eyes so much? I'll probably use up my bottle of this stuff, but I won't buy it again.
