i like this only like it works well does the job maybe not so good on fair skin but line the lower lashline with it and it makes blue eyes POP!
This is a lovely color and a nicely pigmented shadow, but please know that it is VERY yellow and looks horrible on fair cool skin. I can't wait to swap it out of my palette.
I think this is a lovely eyeshadow for someone with a darker complexion. I may be too fair to swing this one. I usually really like gold tone eyeshadows so the MUA suggested that I get Goldmine saying it would go so nicely with my hair. However, it's highly pigmented and is a much bolder shade of gold than what I'm used to wearing. I don't think it looks very good on my skin tone so I will not be repurchasing Goldmine. Instead I will stick with softer pale-gold shades.
Very pretty light gold color, I like to use it in bronzey looks and it goes with any color! Good starter color for you MAC beginners, I highly recommend it!
+This one looks amazing on tan/dark women.
( Check out XINAROX's channel on youtube , she uses a lot and it's gorgeous on her. )
+It glides on well.
-But I don't like the color on me , I'm pretty fair and it's just to yellow for me.
Overall: Don't buyt it if you don"t like yellow/gold shadows.
It looks weird on PPP in my opinion...
This is a gorgeous color! I'm using it for my prom :) With creme de miel from Naked Honey and romp.. with a bit of retro liner! :)
Gorgeous yellowish w/ a bit of gold. Great color payoff, you just need a little since it is pretty pigmented.
I have had this beautiful gold color for a long time. It looks absolutely great on my skin tone, NC44. I think it is the best gold eyeshadow I have. It looks so pretty with Mac's Amber Lights. I get tons of compliments when I pair those two together.
Gorgeous. I love gold eyeshadows and this one is a keeper. As others have said, it is a true gold color. The application is great; creamy and light - no need to pile this on because the color shows up well with just a swipe. I would definitely repurchase but I probably won't have to (this is going to last me ages!).
This is the BEST gold eyeshadow I have ever used. I normally have trouble pulling off golden shades - I can't wear golden browns at all. But goldmine is a wonderful example of what can be done with a frost texture... I can brush it over other shadows to give a subtle golden shimmer or accent areas with gold without it looking over the top. It is a true gold - not yellow, not bronze.
