The name doesn't lie, it gave me no clumps! It also looks really natural in the way it coats the lashes. I love this mascara! Hope you enjoy it as well.

I am a natural blonde, and my eyelashes are like my hair - light, fine, but dense. I've gone through many mascaras over the years in my search to find a product that would define my eyes without making my itsy bitsy lashes stick together or look too crudded up.

Enter Cover Girl Lash Blast Clump Crusher. It really delivers on its name! While it's your typical Lash Blast packaging with a big, fat tube and bright neon color (this one is green), the product and brush are quite different from the others in this line. The brush is made out of plasticky bristles like the other Lash Blast mascaras, but there are many, many more "teeth" to grab each and every lash. It has a curved shape that follows the contour of your eyelid. Even the tip has a nice benefit for reaching my superfine bottom lashes.

The product inside seems to be thin and not too wet. It flawlessly distributes from the brush evenly onto my eyes. For me, most volumizing mascaras accumulate too much product on the brush, which causes my lashes to stick together and look cakey. It is my pet peeve of mascaras when I get the sticky, chunky look - so many I've tried end up in the trash for that very reason! But I've been using Clump Crusher for more than a month and have never had the gross, fake lash look result from this product. Just long, natural, beautiful eyelashes.

TL;DR: For stubborn, fine, but dense lashes, Clump Crusher takes the cake! You'll get color, definition, separation and length with one application. Clump Crusher is my HG mascara for as long as they continue to make it! But, if you're looking for extreme volume, this may not be the one for you.

Awesome product, oh my gosh! I am loving this mascara. It's perfect because you can choose how much volume you want. I personally like to do several coats, and it doesn't give you that spidery, clumped together look like some mascaras do. Plus, it's cheap and available everywhere. Definitely give this a try if you haven't already!

I accidentally bought this in brown instead of black, but I couldn't really notice it once I applied, it still looked great. Thus far it seems alright, I didn't have any problems with it tugging or smearing so I'm pleased. The handle seemed a little awkward to me, but overall it was fine.

One of the worst mascaras I've used. It's a very DRY formula and the brush / dryness combo make it actually painful to use? The brush pulls like crazy on my lashes. It actually pulled one out! OUCH! My favorite mascara is the covergirl lashblast volume in the orange tube. But this stuff is terrible. It flakes and clump which is ironic (the original doesnt clump). This is one of the first mascaras I've actually wiped off and started over with something new.

I like the Cover Girl Lash Blast line. This one seems to lengthen more than the original Lash Blast, it goes on light. However, the formula is quite dry and I don't find it builds up layers nicely. I get CLUMPS. I also find it seems to flake sooner than my other mascaras. I was using a brown shade, so I might try black. One layer of the darkest shade could make for a nice, light everyday wear mascara, nothing dramatic.

I love this mascara. It separates and lengthens wonderfully. Plus it is easy to build up some volume without getting spider lashes. I'm not a fan of the packaging. Don't really know why but I find it awkward to open and hold at times. Really loving this stuff though. Will definitely repurchase.

I have been looking for a drugstore mascara to cut costs and I picked this one up. Overall, I am very pleased with this mascara. It lengthens and doesn't clump. I have layered three coats with no clumping issues. It doesn't smear or flake at all for me. I wish it was a bit more volumizing, but for $7 I think it is a great mascara for daily use. I have and will repurchase this again.

This is the mascara I am currently using. It is a good solid mascara. As the name implies, you can build on layers and it does not clump up on the lashes. Good as a daily mascara, not super dramatic even after you build many layers. Not my HG but I would repurchase.

My current daily mascara! Doesn't clump too much, I like the stiff curved brush, and I like that the tube is lime green tube so I can find it easily in my makeup bag lol.
