Love it. Very surprising since its soooo cheap! I love the scent too. Medium to full coverage, packaging is super pretty, colors are great (not too white, pinkish or yellowish). I like it a lot.

The product is average. VERY perfumy! But that isn't much of an issue to me. It's not unpleasant but it does linger and that can be a bit cloying after a while. I got it in Almond which was a good match for my skin. I'd certainly use this for everyday as it's on the lower price end. It covers well, it's a thick product so on well moisturized skin a little will go a long way. For me the coverage was medium to full. I have fairly good blemish free skin so minor imperfections are super easy for me to cover up. It has a really dewy finish. I wore it to the club and it held up reasonably well. I'd say about 5 hours max but with blotting in between. I like the pump and packaging. Very classy! I do have the leaks others have referred to but the pump on mine works well. I would repurchase but after I get through the mountains of foundation I already own! (Small edit to this...Still feel the same about this product but I think next time round I'll try it in Caramel as I've had to mix the Almond with a lighter shade foundation I own. It doesnt oxidize like some high end rubish foundations I own so that's a plus and why I'm increasing my rating from 3 lippies to 4. I'll repurchase this for sure.)

This is so hard to blend into the skin. Whether applied over a moisturizing and mattifying primer, this looks streaky and sheer. It cakes within a few hours. It also irritates my skin (itchy & burning) which never happens to me. The smell is horrendous...sort of medicinal/herbal but not in a good way.

Just...bad.

this product is OK. that's all i can say about it. it's actually $7.50 is you convert the amount to 1 fl oz (bottle is only 0.8 fl oz), which would make it almost on par with most other foundations. also factor in shipping costs, unless you can get free shipping, but then you usually have to buy $25 worth of stuff from elf, and often you end up buying stuff you don't need.

i think most elf products are deceptive in that they seem cheap, but the amount of product they actually give you is pretty insubstantial. for instance, the tinted moisturizer is TINY and just OK in terms of tinted moisturizers. personally, i find the garnier "bb" cream a lot better and bigger in size (also more nutritious for my skin), so if i bought garnier on sale at a drugstore for $10, the elf product would look pretty poor and uneconomical in comparison.

as far as foundation goes, i recommend looking for Revlon colorstay when it goes on sale (if you're a budget gal). it's slightly better in terms of texture, longer-lasting and comes in more shades. it also doesn't have that horrible odour... if you're looking for a high-end foundation for special occasions, i recommend lancome teint miracle.

Holy Grail (HG) product! Coming from a foundation snob/hoarder that's a pretty strong statement. I would like to say it is definitely worth the money but since it's only $6, that almost sounds like an insult.

Let's just say that if this exact product was made by NARS or Smashbox, people would be not be surprised.

Love the coverage, medium with a dewy finish (YAY! Finally a foundation with a real dewy look!) This is what I expected NARS Sheer Glow to be - actually dewy and with coverage. And the latest shade is a little dark but it has a yellow undertone so it evens all reddness really nice.

The only bad thing is that it does not last very long - 5 hrs max I would say with normal activity.

Despite the fact that I think I've recently found my HG foundation in MAC's Matchmaster formula (shade 1.0) I had to pick this up when I saw it at Target. I had read reviews for it before (was going to order it at one point) and it sounded like something I'd love. It looked like it would match my skin in the jar, though it's fairly hard to tell that for sure since it's in a frosted glass bottle. Still, for $6, I had to try it. First, the positives: It provides the most beautiful, dewy full coverage that never ever looks cakey, no matter how much I put on. I don't even need concealer (for my under eyes and around my nose) with this product, which is a miracle in itself. I've never ever used a foundation that I didn't need concealer with. I honestly think I'd have to say it has the most beautiful finish I've ever seen in a foundation. It makes my skin look airbrushed, yet totally natural. It reminds me of NARS Sheer Glow, but looks more natural. I also love the pump packaging. Even most HE brands overlook this basic feature in their foundations. The frosted glass bottle is also a nice touch. It's true that you only get .8 oz, as opposed to the typical 1 full oz that you get with most foundations, but in a way I kind of like that because the bottle isn't big and bulky! It also seems to have pretty good lasting power on me. Which brings me to the negatives... First and foremost, shade selection. I bought the lightest shade - Porcelain - and I really thought it would match as I'd read that other NC15ers used it with success. For me that's not the case. It's a bit too dark for me in my natural winter paleness. It would work wonderfully for me when I get a bit of color in the coming warmer months, and I will definitely use it at that time. Unfortunately I do feel it's too noticeably dark for me to use right now. Because of that, I haven't been able to really get a full day's wear out of it because I can't wear it when I have to go out. So I can't say exactly how long it lasts on me. I'm also not overly in love with the scent. I don't mind light, nice-smelling scents in my face products but this is more on the stronger, perfumey side. It takes about 20-30 minutes for the smell to completely dissipate on me. Still not a deal-breaker though. Best DS foundation I've ever come across (and I've tried literally nearly all of them). I just wish the lightest shade was lighter. :( ETA: I'm going to have to downgrade my review. I had tested it out a few times, but as I said, not for a real long time because I couldn't go anywhere while wearing it. Yesterday I left it on for longer than the previous times, and when I washed it off and began applying my regular m/u for the day I saw that I had three red bumps on my face and a small whitehead right below my bottom lip. The red bumps weren't pimples, they were the type of bumps I get when my skin is irritated or reacting to something. With the heavy, oilyish consistency and strong perfumey scent, it's hard to say which caused it. I think I may try to swap this one away or give it to a friend. I'd like to give it a try again when it would match my skintone, but it's not worth the aftermath.

I love how inexpensive this product is. The packaging is really classy and makes the product look more expensive than it actually is. I am Asian with medium beige skin tone, I got the foundation in the color Sand and I find that it matches my skin tone pretty closely. I think a little goes a long way with this foundation due to its texture-- it spreads and blends very easily (one pump is more than enough for me). I either use my fingers or ELF's studio line foundation brush to blend it on my face. The coverage is light to medium, which is great for me. The feel on my face is very light and natural, and it does not cake up throughout the day. I do find that due to its extreme dewiness, I have to go over the foundation with a translucent powder to minimize the shine. There is a slight fragrance from the foundation (almost rose-like), but I don't find it disturbing. The only issue with the foundation that I have is that I don't think it's particularly long-lasting. Even though I use a primer underneath the foundation, I find that if I do not blot with some powder at least once a day, it can get shiny and streaky. Therefore, I would recommend this foundation for short-term use...maybe 5 hours max. For working in an office all day like me (8+ hours), it definitely will not last without some blotting and touching up. Overall, I still really enjoy this product-- especially considering the price.

I absolutely love this foundation. The coverage is light to medium, which is great for me. I don't like heavy foundations that sit on the skin and look unnatural. This foundation looks very natural, covers most of my blemishes and redness, and has a slight dewiness that gives your skin a glow. The packaging is great as well, the pump makes it easier to dispense the right amount of product without making a mess. Some people had complains about the pump breaking after a few uses but for me and my sister, it has worked fine. The only downfall is that E.L.F. has very limited shade ranges. Other than that, this is a great, inexpensive foundation.

I bought this in porcelain and was presently surprised at the match to by NC15 skin. The finish is really great for a foundation of this price. Flawless described it perfectly. My husband and bestie even asked if I got new makeup because they noticed it looked so smooth. P.S. I applied it with a foundation brush.
