I should begin by confessing that, as a fan of Chanel in general (who doesn't love that instantly recognizable logo that immediately conveys such style?), I've always wanted to wear a Chanel perfume - preferably No. 5 - because it just seems so glamorous.
But alas, for the longest time, I hated every single Chanel fragrance I smelled, even Coco Mademoiselle - found them far too strong and cloying, much to my dismay.
And then one day I opened a magazine insert for Chance Eau Tendre, not even really paying attention as I leaned in for a whiff because I fully expected to draw back with an, "Oouuf!" To my amazement, what I smelled was the most beautiful, light floral that just drew me in; I think I rubbed the scent off of that insert entirely because I sniffed it so much!
I ended up ordering a bottle from sephora, and let me tell you, I've not been disappointed! The fragrance on me is as lovely as it was in the magazine insert (good thing, I suppose); it's the lightest, whispery floral that's perfect for spring and summer (really, any time of year; it's a classic fragrance).
The bottle is, of course, to die for, and I love the fact that the perfume itself is pink. Fragrance whore that I am, I've got a tray full of various perfumes on the counter in my bathroom, but my Chanel bottle sits proudly on the vanity in my bedroom. As other reviewers have noted, there's something about it that just leaves you feeling fabulous....

I LOVE this product. I get compliments on it every time I go somewhere, from the grocery or the park with the kids. I feel very OH LA LA wearing this. A must if you want to feel FABULOUS in your everyday wear or when your going out on the town. A little dab will do, or else it will be TOO strong. LOVE THIS!
Was given a tester of this perfume and instantly fell in love! Wore it everyday until the tester ran out and then bought a full sized bottle. Six months later I still wear this almost everyday and I'm still not bored of it. Every stage of this perfume from the first spritz to the last whisp of scent is lovely and sweet without being sickly. On my skin it lasts all day but I usually apply again if I'm going out in the evening. A beautiful scent for spring and summer days. Similar to Daisy by Marc Jacobs at first but much nicer somehow! Especially after an hour or two when Daisy becomes a strange almost sour scent whereas this stays true to its original smell, only deepening slightly.

This is the fragrance that I've been using ever since it's launch sometime in 2010 or so I can't remember. I'm not experienced in fragrances, but contrary to some reviewers, I find this actually a complex scent, alluring girl-like but with a hint of maturity and optimism. It has inspired spin-offs, and I'm not talking just about cheap stuff on the streets. Recently at Sephora's, I tested Givenchy's Ange Ou Demon Le Secret and was shocked to learn its similarity to Chance eau Tendre. This said, after the dry-down, Givenchy's became this flat horrid orangey after-taste, which is certainly nowhere near the standard of Chanel. Nonetheless, I'm moving onto other scents, but Chance eau Tendre remains a fond favourite, with bitter and sweet memories.

I was just reading another lady who said she has bad luck with Chanel fragrances and I think I'm the same I also find them too overpowering in general but this one has been my worst. When I smelt this in store, i thought wow I love it. I bought it and found it SO overbearing it gave me the most intense headache- that I felt quite sick! I have SO MANY perfumes and nothing like this has ever happened before so i just put it down to me generally maybe feeling unwell, and gave this perfume a few more chances, but same thing- id get an intense headache and feel a little unwell!! I just ended up giving it away. The scent itself is much more longer lasting than the ''fraiche'' version but for whatever reason, i just cannot wear it.

I love this perfume! And the price was quite good to (some €60 I think), I expected it to be much higher (like for Coco Mademoiselle or Chanel N°5). It's a light, wearable, young fragrance! It reminds me of apples. The bottle is very pretty and the pink colour of the substance is great! :)

This fragrance is lovely! It is a sweeter, softer version of Chance, but still maintains all of the chic elegance of a Chanel perfume. This fragrance is perfect for the spring and summer, when on the warmest days one does not want to be wearing a strong perfume. This will still make you feel sophisticated and ladylike without being overwhelming. I am normally not a lover of jasmine, but the jasmine blends beautifully with the grapefruit, hyacinth, musk and amber to create a classy fruity-floral blend. I have tried this against other fragrances mentioned as "smell-alikes" (such as "Daisy") and can say that this fragrance is unique. While it does not last as long as most Chanel fragrances, it does last for several hours. I carry a small atomizer to freshen up from day to evening.
I was not looking for a fragrance and purchased the sheer misting spray on impulse. I thought it smelled so fresh and clean. The packaging is great with an amazing spray. It applies very smooth and makes my skin feel soft. I was excited to have my fiancee smell it. He said it smelled cheap and had a soap smell like something from BBW. :( I still like it but maybe sit on it and think it over before purchasing.
