I bought this mascara as a splurge after reading so many good reviews about it. Should've taken the time to read all the bad reviews! Applied to my lashes, went on easily, and lengthened my lashes more than any other mascara I've ever tried. Thought I'd found my perfect mascara. That lasted for all of about 20 seconds, until my eyes started burning!! Turns out this mascara contains fragrance, so guessing that is what caused the eye irratiation. I am not allergic to any fragrance that I know of, but this mascara made my eyes burn almost immediately. That was yesterday. Woke up this morning and my eyes are still irritated and somewhat bloodshot from using this mascara.

I am a mascara snob and have been on the hunt for the perfect one since I first started wearing makeup. I've had mascaras from Chanel, Estee Lauder, Lancome, YSL, plus numerous chemist brands. I have very long lashes and expect a lot from my mascara, probably too much really. I was a bit tentative when I first opened this and saw the massive brush. I just couldn't understand how I was going to work it, or how it would get the smaller lashes in the inner corners. But somehow it just does. I usually go for those smaller, new age brushes that are plastic and all kinds of tiny weird shapes. But they always get really hard and scary towards the end and hurt my eyes. This brush is nice and soft, and although it's big, still manages to get right in there. I also really like the formula. It's a thicker formula that isn't too wet as it goes on. Because my lashes are so long, I always get black marks on my lids while the mascara dries. I haven't had this problem as much as this one. But my main love with this is how quick application can be if you're in a hurry. Because of the big brush and the thicker formula I am able to quickly sweep my lashes in one go and run out the door.

An EYE-con in the makeup world, I had to try Diorshow at least once. We had a world wind courtship, and when my tube was empty and all I had left was memories of eyes batted, I came to this conclusion: The trick is in the brush.
Oh that lush densely packed spoolie.... It is the thing that thin-lashed girls like me dream of. The brush uplifts and separates and loads the perfect amount of product onto your lashes for the mega-glam look that Dior is known for.
However, I really feel that the formula is just... okay. Nothing great, nothing horrible and as a college student, I can agree to spoiling myself SOMETIMES, but I can't get behind shelling out nearly $30 for mascara every three months.... I'm far more likely to take the spolie out wash it, and use it in another formula... However if you are a budding glam girl or a long-admirer of the Dior brand, it's a must try... YOLO, right?

I think this mascara is very bad when you use it alone. When I first used it it was a mess, but I waited for some months (actually) and now I use it everday, and it's actually really good. But it doesn't give me what i expected.. I always use a second mascara because I never get satisfied with only one (no matter which mascara it is), I could use this mascara alone but I don't think it lenghtens enough.

Overall it's a good mascara.

This is my HG mascara for when I want bold dramatic lashes. It makes my lashes so big and plush looking. Also it doesnt flake but it's not hard to remove. Been using it for years, the only thing I don't like is the packaging. It's pretty but it gets clogged up with mascara and it's hard to open and close, and makes you waste some mascara which is not good because this stuff is expensive!!

Absolutely love this mascara! I have used it for about 3 years and it has been my staple. I go out here and there and try the newest "fad mascara" and always am dissapointed. I have fairly sensitive skin and eyes often get very dry from contacts and this never clumps and irritates my eyes. I love it.

After using Dior show mascara for a couple of years I decided to take a break and discovered Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill lengthening mascara. After Giorgio Armani mascara has finished I repurchased Dior Show just to compare...and I can not wait for this mascara to finish because frankly you can buy cheaper high street brand what does just the same. I am sorry, Dior, this Show is over for me.

The hype is just hype. Little to back it up. So thick and not in a good way. Doesn't hold a curl worth a darn. On the plus side, it's rich black and seems as though it would be conditioning.
