Truly, it's a nice moisturizer...but I don't think it does much besides that.
I guess it's okay, but really I look for softening, brightening, or evening in my facial moisturizers. I don't see any of that here.
That being said, it's excellent if all you want its a hydrated face that stays that way. It's helepes with a few pesky dry patches as well.
Will I buy again? No, but I will definitly use the rest of this up.
I was curious with this product because of what they said on advertisements and i did read up on this product, i have acne, it started when i started a new brand of pills, anyways started breaking out and now that my skin is kinda starting to get better im scared to use just anything on my face. I started doing a little research, i have oily skin, according to one of the article i read say the best moisturiser for my tyoe of skin is lotion instead of cream. i use to use garnier renew, it was good but it was getting pricy for me. so i tried this product and ive been using it for a week now its really good it doesnt make my face oily and as soon as u put it on your face you can tell the deffirence its very light. i will continue to use this product and i will inform you guys if any changes i would see
I put this on for about thirty minutes before it made my cheeks turn red and blotchy. I have sensitive skin so I haven't really been able to find a moisturizer that hasn't irritated my skin yet. Did make my skin feel nice and smooth though :D I'm not too fond of the the preservatives used in this product either.
'Nothing special' is the only way i can describe this product. i know its free of harsh chemicals and colours and whatever else but i found it did nothing, my skin was slightly dry before purchasing and after using for a month or so it was still slightly dry, no better but no worse. it didnt cause me any harm but it did about as much good as rubbing abit of water on your face. i wouldnt buy it again.
My all-time favourite moistuiser! I have tried them ranging from £1- £35 and my little gem has always been Simple. I use this in conjunction with the rich moistuiser and the night cream on a daily basis and get comments all the time on the look of my skin. It's cheap, it's wonderful and doesn't leave my skin oily!

I really really wanted to like this, because it's hard to find a good fragrance free moisturizer without a lot of harsh ingredients. But I had a bad reaction to this, it felt like it was stinging or burning my skin, and my face turned bright red after use. I am also pretty sure that it caused some white bumps (not acne, just bumps) to appear on my face after use. I am so disappointed that this didn't work out for me.
On the good side, it's fragrance free and was nice and thick without being gross. Maybe this works better for others, but not for me.
I used this product for ages, after recovering from my teenage skin, this seemed to give the perfect level of moisture, since I needed to give my skin some oil, but didn't want to overload it and break out.
It worked well, it didn't irritate my skin, which is good because my skin is fairly sensitive, and it didn't make me break out.
I started to notice a problem with it when I took it with me on holiday. The warm weather must have heated it up because it started to smell really funny (like playdough) and absorb into my skin as well (it had only been open for 3 or 4 months so it hadn't gone off). Also, if I had quite a bit of oil on my skin (my skins usually more on the dry side so I never noticed this before going away) it wouldn't go into my skin as well.
I then bought another bottle when I got back to England and the same thing happened again, and this was from being left on a windowsill and being warmed up by the sun - when I say warmed up I mean only a tiny bit, that window gets max 20 mins of sun a day when the sun is setting. Anyway this annoyed me and I haven't bought it since.
Another thing that I didn't like about it was that I could feel it on my skin even after it had absorbed fully. It just left a weird texture.
The main reason why I stopped using it though is that my skin seems to have become much dryer in the last year, and this just wasn't cutting it any more, I needed something heavier.
However, despite this review seeming kinda negative, I do recommend it if you have sensitive skin that's not very dry. I think it's best suited to teenagers aged about 16, after getting over the oily stage that most of us go through it can be good to have something like this as an inbetweeny stage while your skin works out what the heck it's doing.
Oh, and another good point is that it's good value for money, you get a lot in a bottle so it lasts for ages - or at least until it warms up.
I bought this because it claimed to be free of harsh irritants and was good for sensitive skin. I don't have sensitive skin at all, and have never had an allergic reaction or irritation from a face product before. This is the only lotion that has ever given me problems, which is sad and ironic for a brand that pushes "no perfumes, no dyes, no harsh irritants".
.
When first applying the lotion, its texture is smooth and silky. However, I felt a mild burning/warming sensation on my cheeks that lasted for a few seconds after rubbing the lotion in, but nothing else happened. No rash, no itching. It was just an annoying feeling that went away. I didn't change my skincare products otherwise.
.
The 1st week I used this lotion, I did break out with small, cystic acne on my jaw and chin, but I didn't think much of it and it cleared up on its own. By the 2nd week, my skin was cleared up, smooth, and radiant.

The packaging could use a pump. This is a pretty cheap lotion but unfortunately I don't feel good about using it because of how it makes my face burn when I first put it on. I was disappointed that a product made for sensitive skin could irritate my dry-combination face. I won't buy this again but I recommend trying it out because it really does soften the skin. Just read the ingredients and watch out even if you don't have sensitive skin.
This was okay, as far as cheap moisturisers go. My skin is very dry and sometimes can be sensitive, especially around the eye area after make up removal so I like to get a moisturiser that won't aggravate my skin as well as help to calm the eye area down. I liked the texture and the feel of it on my skin, but it took quite a while to absorb and made the ara round my eyes sting. I also didn't find it overly moisturising, I know its called a light moisturiser but I still like my moisturisers to feel as though they are actually doing something to my skin. Wouldn't buy again.
I also wanted zo bad to love this product... but unfortunately i didn't. i went to the dermatologist for acne and she told me to buy a benzyl peroxide wash and use moisturizer, so i bought the wash and simple light moisturizer, because i thought it would be allnatural and gentle. however after i started using both products, my skin peeled everyday for about a week. it was probably dumb for me to keep doing the same routine so long, but i get paranoid about not washing my face.
anyway, basically my face was itchy and peeling, so i switched to my mom's pond's moisturizer, but stayed with the wash (since it seemed like the irritation started as soon as i put the moisturizer on)
.
Even now, after my skin cleared up and calmed down, i was looking for lotion and couldn't find any so i used the simple lotion again. i always do the little thing where you put dots of the product on your face and massage in. Anyway, the one i put on my lip started burning, so i quickly rubbed all of it in. It got rid of the dryness though, but still burns.
