It took 2 tries for me to get the correct shade, but it went on smooth, gave great uniformity to my complexion and I felt like I was not wearing make-up. I purchased it in March 2011, and I love it. I wonder if they changed the formula because I did not experience any of the negatives reported by others. I got it on sale.

This foundation has to be one of the worst I've ever wasted my money on. It settled into the pores on my nose and made them look like moon craters, settled into the tiniest lines on my face and just does not look blended no matter what I did. I thought perhaps using a primer first would help but it didn't.

The powder and liquid from this collection isn't half bad but this stuff is crap. Maybe if you had super dry skin it would look nice but on my combo skin, it doesn't.

This product supposed to be superblendable? Not at all ! Even when I moisturized my face very well, it still turned out very cakey and seemed to make my skin look even dryer. When I used it as concealer on my acne spots/scars, it just drawed more attention to the area (have tried different techniques). And I can never get the right color,it's either to light yellow or too orangy/pink. I think this product works well only if your skin is absolutely exfoliated and fully moisturized without any blemishes.

***NW15 does NOT match N2. It is noticable darker and much more orangy than the color I bought was.

Shades aside, this product is terrible. It is so GREASY and beyond cakey on my already oily skin. Don't use this all over your face, I couldn't even use this as a concealer because it cakes up around the areas you put it and makes it look obvious when you're wearing it. My sister even asked me "Is your face okay? You look like your peeling over there." and pointed to an area where I used it earlier.

This just didn't work for me. Maybe this could work for people who don't have oily skin. Today was the only day I wore it and it's starting to break me out already.

Expensive product for how sucky it is. This instantly caked and made me look sick (like seriously ill in the hospital sick) and made my imperfections stand out. The sponge is useless and a brush is almost impossible to get the product out and I wouldn't even try my fingers. Overall this product was a MAJOR FAIL for me

CONS: this compact is not for dry skin people; contains no SPF (I know there are ones with SPF out there but in Canada, it doesn't seem to contain any); sucks moisture out of my skin even with moisturizer underneath.

PROS: great color selection for many skin tones; easy to apply, can be used wet or dry; buildable, giving light-medium/almost full coverage; can be used as concealer; no unpleasant fragrance; reasonably priced (I purchased this using a $5 coupon for buying 2 L'oreal True Match products, and I got this @ $11.99 CDN b4 taxes regular price).

8.5g of product.

Accidentally bought this instead of the compact powder that I use, so I thought I'd give it a go. Absolutely terrible! I applied this with a stippling brush, and after countless attempts to blend it, it just made my face look cakey and gross. Wouldn't recommend to anyone...absolutely horrid!

While I agree with reviews that this product must be applied to exfoliated skin (because it really does show up dry patches very obviously) I don't agree that it is not very blendable - it blends in well and has a creamy consistency that's easy to work with (I love the sponge included with the foundation, but recommend applying with fingers and then going over the make up when on the skin with the sponge to remove excess). This product isn't sticky at all and has no discernable smell.

As a very fair skinned blonde with freckles, I was surprised to discover that shade W1 was in fact TOO light for me - a true shocker since I'm used to foundations being too orange! I liked the foundation as I felt it helped disguise redness along my jawline, and I didn't need to apply under eye concealer after applying it, which is another first. Apart from the shade, which makes me look ghostlike, and the fact that it shows up dry skin, I have no complaints about this product.

I am a huge fan of the true match products because they always get the color dead on and I am a HUGE freak with matching makeup ESPECIALLY outside! I can't stand it when you can see the tinge of makeup on the skin, or the difference between your face and neck. By having a light/medium coverage, this allows it to match well.

I have use the liquid, roller, and now this product out of the true match family. I really like the liquid, but they ran out of my color and decided to try this one. I really love how it goes on very smoothly, work with it a little. It is a creme to powder finish and does the job with uneven skin tone. It covers light pimples well, sometimes I will use my finger and just dab some extra right on the pimple after applying my whole face. I have not had any issues with oily-ness with this product, or with the liquid but felt the roller was extremly oily and wiped right off.

I like the packaging I can take it anywhere, it's light and compact. So far, I love this product, haven;t had any compaints. I got it at CVS so it's convenient and works well over other really expensive products. I knwo I can return it at CVS if it's used with the receipt so I went for it!

Glad I did, I would recommend it to anyone. My skin is combo with some acne, and I realized that if I set it with some powder, it holds for many many hours. If needed, I use mac concealer under it on stubborn pimples, but feel that no foundation would cover those, and any foundation that would would be extremely heavy, and diminish that "true match" feel I get with this product. If this product isn't working for you, I strongly urge you to try their other true match products because they are completely different with the feel on your skin. I don't know if I will switch back to the liquid now! The both work well, but feel this one evens out a little more and is was less messy, I don't have to wash my hands after and I can take it with me if needed.

I honestly don't like for the summer its too greasy and living in Cali it's never really cold. Finally it's cold as it gets here and I like it. I'm not a big fan because it does get greasy in the corners of my nose and my forehead. I use it on the dry spots of my face and it seems to be working fine. It has a light to medium coverage, I also like that it matches my skin perfectly I use N6. Note the mirror is on the side where the sponge is kept and the makeup gets everywhere I use wax paper to keep them apart.
