i feel like this is an urban decay eyeshadow in highlighter form. way too frosty/glittery. it gives a nice sheen but the sheen quickly fades and you're left glitter. you can get the same effect by using sin eyeshadow or grand entrance. returned it and got a hard candy highlighter instead which turned out to be way better

dissapointed in this product + its so pricey. not worth it ( unless you like the really shiney in ur face look), you can get better highlighters for cheaper prices

I love the manger at my local M.A.C counter so when she recommend Soft and Gentle to me, i decided it was worth buying. I really wanted to love this product, but I have decided that , that even though I have tried to make it work, it doesn't really do it for me unless I am just use this to highlight only my brow bone, which whats the point of buying such a large amount of product when i could have just bought a single eyeshadow to last me a while. Although I love this product as a brow bone eye shadow, using it as a highlighter does not work for me (expect maybe if i am going out for a special occasion and the light are very dim and i need my make to stand out, that would be the only exception) The main reason I don't like this product as a highlighter is because the glitter stands out, almost in this gross sliver shade that sits on the top of my skin. The sparkles are not finely milled enough, to blend in enough, and because of this point that is how I have learned the difference between a worthwhile subtle highlight and something that just goes way over board like this product. I just want to say that I still enjoy and regularly purchase many products from M.A.C but by no means is this product worth the money or necessary to have. If you are looking for a nice finely milled subtle highlighter, then i would highly recommend NARS albatross, which I actually bought before trying this product because I didn't yet understand nor appreciate it's subtle color, although now I do

This is a lovely champagne highlighter that I've religiously been using ever since I got it in a swap. I love the color and texture, but desperately wish it were a bit more fine-milled and didn't have random chunks of shimmer/glitter. If you're not careful with this product, it just screams "I'M WEARING HIGHLIGHTER!!"

I really like this product! It gives a nice shimmer on my skin without looking overly made up. I hardly ever wear foundation (because I don't need it), and now that it's summer and I'm tan it looks even better! Will repurchase when I run out.

This is the first and only product I have from MAC. Since I have a beauty you tube, I found myself always searching reviews about this product and since I didn't know alot from MAC at the time, I thought it was limited edition and I always had a strange anxiety to buy it. The lady at my local MAC store (Plaza las Americas, PR) was a rude little beyotch. (Excuse my language). Mine came with a poor amount of gold veining. I do have to admit that this product is very pricey and alot of you know the dropping a MSF nightmare, since the MSF's are baked. I love the packaging, I always love MAC packaging because it's so simple yet classy. Mine came with a small dome which made me mad because mine came with not so much amount of product, considering that I payed $29 + tax, ect. I use this as a highlighter, this product is fairly pigmented and it does have chunky-ish glitter. It's very shimmery aswell. It works amazing as a highlighter but it can get ridiculously shimmery sometimes. Overall, I would buy this again regarding the fact that it is very pricey.

I can understand why so many people like this but it does not work for me. It is not fine enough so it looks too artificial and more silvery than i like on the face. When using highlighers i have to be sure they will enhance radiance than making me look like a disco ball. I much prefer my Dior Amber Diamond highligher or Bobbi Brown's Shimmer Bricks in Bronze and Beige.
make sure you try it on you before buying!

Love! Perfect highlighter. I can dust this across my cheekbones and temples and it absolutely lights up my face. It's subtle enough for "no makeup" makeup days, and it looks good to finish up an all done-up look as well! Not too intense on my fair skin, and would surely glow on any skin tones.

I am really really into highlighters this spring/summer, I love a nice glowey look and I achieve that very well with this highlighter, it has become a staple in my collection! Mac's MSF's are a little pricey but are worth it, I can see this lasting me a long time. It's not chunky glittery or anything over done, I wear this over blush and it gives me a fresh radiant look which I adore! This is LE so if you can get your hands on one I say go for it!

This is a really beautiful highlighter. I love the peachy champagne colour and I feel it would suit a variety of skin tones. I use this to highlight my cheekbones and sometimes other areas of my face such as my cupid's bow, brow bone, or as an inner corner highlight. I even occasionally use this as an eyeshadow which I saw someone do on Youtube. I think this is a staple product and it will last me a long time as only a small amount is needed. Love it!
