I love this! Very moisturizing, no irritation, nice glossy finish. It does have that Carmex scent/taste but it's not as strong as the original. It comes in a nice sleek silver tube and feels wonderful going on. No complaints!
This is for the new Carmex tinted lip balms. They come in Sheer Peach and Sheer Pink. Both offer a nice hint of color and the moisturization is awesome. Will definitely buy again. Got it at Walgreens for $2.99. Yummy!
I liked this product when I first started to use it because it does moisturize and hydrate my lips. But I had to stop using it because I hate the taste of it.... not that I eat my lip balm but I put on a lot of it so yea I tend to get a little inside my mouth. However if you can get over the taste this is a great lip balm.
I am one of the few people who absolutely love all the lip products Carmex makes. I came across this and had to try it. It's different from the original formula since it smells less like vapor and does not leave a tingly feeling on your lips. It smells good and has a creamier texture. My lips felt instantly hydrates. Great product for a lip balm or lipstick base!
So far I've purchased two of the Carmex Moisture Plus. I'm not a big fan.
The smell as another reviewer stated was very medicinal. The product itself feels greasy and not very light (lighter than regular Carmex though). My lips didn't feel moisturized, and after 2 applications of the first tube, the product started to "crumble" and "break". When that happened I figured maybe I just got a bad tube so I went out and bought a second one. It did the same thing. I had high hopes for this product, but in the end it falls flat.
Amazing stuff!
Just bought this based on all the glowing reviews & love it already. Leaves a gentle cool sensation on my lips, not overpowering & definitely not as strong as many minty lipbalms which I hate.
Was gonna say this doesn't smell the best but then I suddenly realized it smells just like L'Oreal Infallible 6 Hr Plumping lipgloss which I love. I wonder if they might use the same treatment ingredients b/c the L'Oreal gloss is very moisturizing as well. Both of these products make & keep my dry lips soft & moist.
I love the clear gel-based formula of this & it applies super-easy & smooth. It just glides across the lips w/o any pulling or tugging, no waxy feel @ all. Also love the sleek slender plastic silver-grey packaging it comes in w/the slanted tip - looks a little bit like a lipstick. Very elegant for a lipbalm. Plus I love the glossy, moist, dewy finish on the lips - not dripping wet but not matte.
Also contains SPF 15 which is great for sun protection (though SPF has always dried out my lips further but seems to work well in this product). Great formulation. Love it & will def run out to buy backups! This one's unexpectedly an instant winner. Just $3 @ most drugstores (though I have to say it's sometimes hard to find).

I love this lip balm. Very hydrating and I love the packaging. The smell isn't the best, though but it doesn't bother me too much. I put this on before any other lip products (lipgloss, lipstick, etc.)
Brill lip balm will soothe and hydrate the dryest of lips and not expensive at all. This really improves the condition of your lips - would recommend
I LOVE Carmex!! I used to use chaptstick and found that it never really did anything for me. But with Carmex I really feel the effect it gives my lips. It gives me a little tingly feeling in my lips when I first apply it but I like it, kind of feels like a lip plumper lol. I can't really describe the smell of it but it's kind of got some vanilla smell to it along with something else, but it's not strong and overpowering. This definitely keeps my lips hydrated and moisturized and it's only $1.50 at the drug store! I have 4 tubes of this in my purse!!
Two words: HOLY GRAIL!!!!!
I am so sad to see that some MUA-ers don't love this stuff as much as I do! I am ALWAYS on the hunt for good chapsticks and lip moisturizers because my lips really take a beating from lipstick and lipglosses and I hate the discomfort of chapped lips. Please also know that I am very picky and don't really have any other holy grail products that I hold in the same regard as Moisture Plus.
The smell is sort of a cross between regular Carmex and vanilla. Very pleasant. It goes on very smooth and instantly soothes and hydrates your lips. It feels much wetter than a product like Berts Beeswax, but not sticky like Rosebud Salve. It gives a gorgeous sheen to the lips too, as an added bonus! The other amazing aspect about this product is that I don't have to reapply nearly as much as I do with any other lip treatment product. A little dab lasts for hours.
I can't say enough good things about this product. And at $2.50 a pop at Target you can't go wrong. The only downside is that I haven't found this yet at a drugstore like CVS or RiteAid...so far only Target has carried it.
