Pretty drying but works great for my acne.. I still breakout but a lot less than I used to. I like the pump packaging but it isn't great for travel. I don't mind the smell but it is very strong and chemically. Really cleans my skin and gets rid of the oil but a good moisturizer is needed.

My sister and i both use this product, i have dry skin and she has combination/acne prone skin. It dries my skin out a lot, as i have dry skin but it does wonders to keep my acne away. I have not had a bad breakout since using this product. My sister and i keep repurchasing this product as it is great for acne, but i am currently looking out for something more gentle for my dry/sensitive skin. I dislike the smell and on occasion when it has gotten in my mouth, i have come to hate the taste too.

This face wash has made me have a severe reaction. I bought it thinking it looked good and smelt good. I used it once in the morning for about a week and then WHAM! I woke up on a saturday morning with a face like a boxer. My whole face was completely swollen and red raw. My eyes were nearly shut they were so swollen. I itched and my skin is as dry as anything, like i've stuck my face in a bowl of flour. Its been 4 days and still my face is peeling. Its rough and the skin won't stop falling off! I will NEVER use this product again.

Words cannot even begin to describe how much I hate this product.
My skin is oily/combo, and every single face wash has never dried out my skin, until this. In fact, I didn't even think it was possible for my skin to be dry to the point it would start peeling; until I used this product. I was excited to buy this after reading all the positive reviews for it, and the 'Allure' award it received. After the FIRST time I used this, I had to put like 6 layers of moisturiser on, in order for my skin to stop stinging, burning and peeling. It made my acne worse, and I peeled so much on my forehead, and on my nose.
I just figured it was the unfamiliar weather (since I bought it on vacation).
After I got back home, I continued to use it, until one day I just couldn't take it anymore. My skin was soo irritated, and it was peeling so much.
I bought another facewash the next day (don't exactly remember what it was Lol) And my skin returned to normal after using it once.

Hate this cleanser. :|

Have only used this product 3 times (morning, evening and evening again) and have ended up with skin that is a bit red and feels like I've been sunburnt. It feels really tight and bumpy like I've had a reaction - probably to the sal acid since its a chemical which strips oils and kills bacteria. HOWEVER, my pimples seem to have subsided and they are all very much less red (maybe just becos the rest of my face is pinkish, ha!). After reading others comments, I think this will have be a product I only use one or maybe twice a week just to zap my oily skin. My skin has become more oily over the last few month due to coming off the oral contraceptive pill and skin now seems very temperamental and sensitive... but oily all the time. I've used the orange Neutrogena product before without problems (no sal acid I think) so might have to go back to that. Do love the scent of pink grapefruit though.

Hmm...i bought this on a whim...like it initially...then i started to get breakouts...those painful big bumps under the skin. That really surprised me because i stopped getting acne years ago. I was heartbroken because i thought it was my clarisonic at fault. And i had just spent a bomb on it. Then, i randomly read through reviews and realised that alot of people complained that this broke them out...even though they had oily acne-prone skin and its supposedly formulated to clear that up.
I had my suspicions and stopped using it for a week...and the bumps shrunk and started to disappear. Needless to say, i thrashed it and rejoiced that it wasn't my clarisonic! lol.
It has a very nice smell though but thats probably the only good thing about it

this is a good light everyday cleanser
it has acne medication so in the winter it can dry out your skin a bit but with some good moisturizer youll be ok
love the scent it not too harsh and for my sensitive skin its works pretty good
does not take off all my makeup and does help keep my skin clear it does create a good lather as well
will buy again

This is ok.
I had pretty bad acne on my forehead and a little around the rest of my face.
I made my skin feel less oily but not amazing.
It cleared up my face a little bit but I don't like it that much.
Don't know if I would buy again.
You have to scrub it in really well and use it twice a day or It won't doa very good job.

If you have dry skin, BEWARE. It made the dry parts of my face extremely flakey and irritated. It did dry out all my pimples though, but the dryness it did to my skin was not worth it. If you have oily skin this might be worth a shot. Also, this washed off my makeup extremely well. It comes with a pump so I loveee the packaging.
