This product only smells good for like a second. My shower quickly turned from smelling like grapefruit to smelling like fast food!!! I'm not kidding, it starts to smell like stale hamburgers and french fries....it is disgusting!!! There is such an awful "after-smell" that I threw the bottle away before I could even see if it worked.

I don't know what the hell is in this body wash but in the past week I have been using it, my skin has been itching like crazy. I feel like I have developed a rash, and I do not have sensitive skin by any means.

There is something different in this version vs. the original, not sure what, but either way I have stopped using it.

I decided to try this product this I generally like the Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash/Scrub products. I love the smell of grapefruit so this seemed like a nice alternative to the sort of blah scent of the original.

I have to say I am very disappointed in this product. The first two times I used it I was struck by how great it smelled and how the scent lingered nicely. My skin seemed to be dry but I figured the product was just workings its wonders. I should add now that I have acne prone oily skin with occasional break outs on my back.

The third time I used this product my skin felt dryer and I decided maybe I should skip the body wash the next time. The very next day, I woke up with a rash around my collarbone, chest, and upper back--exactly where I use this body wash. I then noticed a large break out with dozens small pimples all over my back and upper arms as well as about three large pimples on my back. It's as ugly as it sounds.

I recommend that people try out this body wash on a patch of skin first. I should have done this before using the product but I honestly didn't expect any kind of adverse reaction since I've always done well with Neutrogena products.

Sadly, Body Clear Body Wash in Pink Grapefruit was not a winner for me. Instead of killing and preventing more acne, I've got a large rash and breakout to deal with and handful of bucks down the drain.

Love this product. I saw a difference in my back acne after 1 week of use, and after 2 weeks pretty much all of my back acne is gone. I'm so happy that I can now wear halter tops for the hot summer months. Be sure to use this every time you shower, and be thorough in cleaning the affected areas. Don't scrub though, that increases irritation. I recommend washing your back after you rinse your hair of conditioner-the oils in your conditioner can clog your pores.

I have been buying this ever since it came out. I have sinus problems and severe allergies, so my allergist and general doctor think it's a good idea for me to take hot showers to ease my congestion. My back and chest aren't too happy with their recommendation. I started with the Original Body Clear Body Wash, which has great results, but had a boring smell, like many acne-fighting body washes do (Sometimes, you just want to use a fruity, fun smelling one). When this product came out, I was beside myself since it smells amazing and I could finally have my cake and eat it too. It works even better than the original does. Whoever comes up with products at Neutrogena is a genius.

I don't have any issues with acne or any break-outs, I just bought this because I love grapefruit, and they had this in a very large container at Costco. I love the smell and how clean and fresh it makes my skin feel. Container is great for the shower. I love how this lathers up on a loofa or sponge for washing as well.

This is working so well for me! At age 41 I am STILL breaking out on my chest and back. It is embarrassing! I want to wear cute skinny strapped dresses and shirts and have not been able to. Until I found this stuff!
I work out 4-5 days a week and I am sure that has a lot to do with my back/chest breaking out. So what I do is after my workout is: I quickly change my workout shirt, towel off, use a wet towel cleanser like Ponds wipes or Neutrogena ones (whatever is on sale, it doesn't seem to matter) on my back and chest. Then I go home to shower and use the Neutrogena pink grapfruit cleanser with a nylon scrubby. So far so good!
Looks like I will be able to wear whatever I want this summer!

I used to use the orange colored body wash but as soon as I saw this version I decided to try it. Fabulous fragrance and it works, I do not really have any type of blemishes on my chest or back, but think that a lot of that has to do with the fact that I use this body wash. Doesn't dry your skin out, great price, the bottle is nice bc it doesn't clog the cap and you can use every last drop; I would definitely buy this again!

I've bought a second tube of this, and will not be without it.

I don't have much back or chest acne, though I am prone to dry, red, flakey skin after showering, and I'm addicted to too-hot showers. The combination can be quite irritating to my skin, but between this and Avene's Eau Thermale, my skin is calm, smooth, and absolutely no little whiteheads or redness to report.

I can't find the original Body Clear Body Wash here in Wal Mart or Shoppers' Drug Mart, but this version works nicely for me, and I love the smell. This is the only body treatment I've ever rebought, and I definately will buy this again. It's not too harsh or strong in anyway, but exfoliates and cleanses gentle enough without stripping the skin. Definate rebuy.

I have not come across too many body washes for breakouts so I feel its pretty easy for Neutrogena to dominate the market here :)! However, I prefer the pink grapefruit was to the original (orange-colored) version. This wash isn't terribly strong or drying but I feel it does a good job of cleansing the skin after workouts, sweating in general, and I have found it to be very useful for clearing up ingrown hairs! Great product for tending to mild blemishes and keeping pores fresh and clear!
