Really nice mascara - definite re-purchase. Not a dramatic result but lovely day-wear look. Lengthens and darkens. Minimal clumping, lashes stay SOFT and pliable (big plus!!!), no noticable odor. I would improve the brush a little (I think it needs more bristles) but otherwise a five star mascara.
Later: too clumpy, too globby. Too wet and gooey. Gave it away.
I got this in a bonue pack - love it, I'll buy the full size when this is done. It doesn't clump!
This mascara accentuates my long lashes, while leaving them soft and looking natural. However, it also smears very quickly. Within an hour, I have raccoon eyes, even when I just apply to my top lashes. I don't mind paying a lot of money for a nice mascara, so I really wanted this to work on me because I like the way it makes my lashes look and feel. But because it smears so badly, I have to give this product a low rating.
This started flaking so much, and sometimes smudging too. I'd come home some days and look in the mirror to be horrified that I had a black streak under my eye...To me this is a pretty average mascara, definitely not worth the price, and I didn't see any difference in my lashes as far s the "treatment" part goes. won't be repurchasing.
I've been using this every day for about 2 weeks, and I'm pretty pleased with it. it's good for a day time mascara, but it's not very dramatic so if you're looking for long flirty lashes this isn't it -- a pretty simple, basic mascara I guess, but it does look really nice for everyday wear.
I have had a little trouble with flaking but not too much - nothing like some others I have tried, and this is definitely bearable.
It volumizes pretty well, lengthens a little, and does stay on well.
As for the treatment part...my lashes do look a little more moisturized. But i have not noticed they are any thicker or longer. Oh well. I just like knowing i'm putting something healthy and conditioning on my lashes.
This is quite good, the look you can achieve is well-represented by the photo that's been uploaded. It's soft on the lashes, separates well and many people would like it (as is evident by its rating) but, on me at least, it does end up in panda eyes - not too much, but enough to be annoying. Therefore, I won't be buying again.
I gave this mascara only 4 as I have not used it long enough. I like that the eye lashes are soft, no flaking, no clumps. Mascara is evenly distributed and I do not have a heavy feeling in my eyes by the end of the day. For the moment I love it.
Good mascara. Will hold curl. Buildable. Makes your lashes look thick and full. Loves it but it's definitely not the only mascara that'll do what it does. But I still love it. =)
This is very similar in performance to Estee Lauders "Sumptous" Mascara but even better. EL Sumptous gives a plush fanned out look to lashes that I desire but it makes lashes too brittle. Ceramide Treatment gives softer lashes and removes cleanly, plus that packaging is gorgeous!
Creates the perfect Curl, no other curling required! A couple of swipes at the corner of my drooping outside lashes flicks them up and holds all day
Buildable formula and lashes stay flexible and soft to touch
Longer and separated, lightly volumized lashes
Good black color
OK on my sensitive eyes
Easy to completely wash off at the end of the day
Elegant black slimline case with a matt champagne gold lid
If your prepared for the NZ $48 price ok but otherwise don't fret there's others as good for 1/2 the price
NO change I can see in lash condition after 2 months usage
Occasionally it has flaked severely when I lightly rubbed my eyees - but the other 95% of the time it has been perfect.
I've only had this on since this morning, but I must write a review now before I forget, like I always do! Mascara's been on a good 6 hours. No irritation to my sensitive eyes. No flaking. I've rubbed my eyes and it hasn't budged. I bought this after reading the reviews and wasn't expecting any sort of immediate result, i.e. no lengthening or volumising. I thought this was going to be a treatment mascara to condition the lashes and I would only see results after continual usuage. So how surprised I was when I applied this and my lashes appear longer and slightly thicker! Lashes are well defined and really really black, much darker than my naturally black lashes! I will continue to use this everyday and will update with the actual treatment result of the lashes!
I've been looking at the MUA Top Picks and Elizabeth Arden's Ceramide Lash Extending Treatment Mascara seemed like a logical choice for my dilemma. I was a waterproof mascara addict, but my HG mascara (Kiss Me Heroine Long & Curl and Volume & Curl) was so difficult to remove that I ended up shedding lashes. So, that stuff is special occasion only now.
I've bought it off eBay at half price (at £9.50), which was more than a good deal. When my package arrived, the first thing I noticed once I took the mascara out of its little cardboard box was the quality of package. The satin, champagne-golden coloured wand is minimalist and beautiful. One thing I can't stand is when packaging gets scruffy when I carry it around. I'm sure all this is painted plastic, but it withstands scratches quite well, and looked great even after being banged around against other cosmetics in my purse for three months. Five lippies for the packaging!
Now to the product itself. The brush looks generic. It's straight, long, and fairly sleek; but does it's job well. The mascara's formula is great. It neither lengthens nor volumizes exceptionally, but it goes on without lumps and you can layer it up to three times before you run into trouble. But, as with all non-waterproof mascaras I had (and I had a lot!), it doesn't hold a curl... I'm starting to give up on finding one that does. One thing I love about the mascara is the fact that it washes off very easily... even if you use only water and a little patience! Yet it withstands humid weather quite well.
Does it help condition my lashes or make them grow longer...? Compared to waterproof mascaras only, certainly, but since I'm using Canmake's Eye Lash Essence in conjunction, its hard to say if the mascara or the conditioner does the bulk of the work.
Would I recommend it? Definitely. Would I buy it again? If nothing better comes along, for sure!
