I got little sample packets of this when I re-bought my old standby, the red bottle of hairspray by Phyto. My hair isn't heat-damaged, but I was in a really horrible stressful period and you could tell from my hair- it was lackluster, dull and looked like it had suffered serious damage. I resolved to do something about it and I washed my hair with Dove shampoo (the new dark blue one with serum), wrapped my hair in a turban for 10 minutes and then smoothed a dime-sized amount of #9 into my hair. My hair dried with full, soft waves, shine, and it looked like it ought to always look (shame on me for laziness). I tried the #7 as well but found that for me, #9 was more potent. I am thrilled and have just bought a bottle which is tiny but seeing as a trial packet lasted me 2 weeks, I could have this for years!
I don't get it. This did absolutely nothing. zip, zero, nada. I have dry, heat & color damaged hair. I couldn't even tell that I had used anything that I don't normally use. I even tried using it alone w/o any of my other hair product and nothing still. And for that much money!?!
I am not sure about this product yet. I really want to like it, but I think my superskinny serum actually works better. I am going to give it another chance tomorrow and see
This stuff is goooooood.... If you've tried Phyto 7 and it didn't work (not for me) then try this one. Phyto 9 is heaps and bounds better... I use it on towel-dried hair and it makes me hair soooo soft and lightweight. OMGGG I love it.. It does add shine too. It's not greasy at all coz you only need a pea-sized amount anyways, which is sufficient enough for my long long hair. I don't really like the smell, but it goes away so that's not a problem. I'm using Phytocedrat shampoo, Phytobaume conditioner, Phyto 9, and Phytolisse. Works great for my hair.. I love love love the Phyto line.. Woo hoo hoo!! And prolong usage of the Phyto 9 actually really does improve your hair's texture. It repaired mine.
love this! i would say hg, but it's so expensive... i'm still going to look for a cheaper alternative. i use it on towel dry hair on the ends and gently brush through. it is not greasy, absolutely light weight yet moisturizing at the same time. i don't know how this product does it :) it leaves my back length hair super soft and shiney, w/o weighing it down or making it look greasy looking. no frizz and static. there is a slight scent, but it goes away fast and does not linger. oh, and no cones!
EDIT: i tried using it on dry hair like some of the other reviews and agree it does work better. you even use less amount.
OMG! i am in love! i use this stuff religiously now.. im going through it SO fast :( it makes my frizzy, dry, curly hair beautiful, soft, shiny, and manageable!! it seems that i just cant overdose my hair on this stuff.. no matter how much i use, my hair never looks greasy at all. i bought this at sephora and payed 26$ for a small tube. i just discovered that they sell it at harmons for 21$! so first thing tomorrow on my way to work, im gunna pick up another tube already. i use it on damp hair along with phytodefrisant relaxing balm and then i use this again on dry hair after combing (wide tooth combs only!) everyday between washes (2x a week). i tried a sample of phyto 7 but it doesnt even compare to phyto 9! finally i found my HG hair product!!!
I have fairly thick, rebellious, highlighted blonde chin-length hair and I wanted this very expensive product to work so badly. Unfortunately, I noticed 'zero' difference from using it. Didn't make my hair any softer, shinier or more manageable. Even when used on dry hair to nourish split ends, I did not notice any improvement. Just a useless step in my hair routine. I may use it up just because supposedly it has some good ingredients for your hair. I'm back to my FF Glossing Cream.
Great product for really dry hair, has worked wonders on the way my ends feel! Expensive as all get out but worth it!
OMG!!! Holy Grail for dry ends/split ends treatment! My ends have been looking fried lately because of daily rinsing and monthly flat ironing, and this stuff has seriously rescued my hair! I use this sparingly because it cost $26 for a 1.5 ounce tube.....eeek! But, it is sooo worth it. it contains plant mucilage (marshmallow root) and macadamia oils and soy oils, so it's quite nourishing for your hair. I love this and will recommend it to any and everyone!
ETA: I reduced a lippie because it leaves flakes/residue in my hair!!!!
I love this cream. Makes my hair so soft & gives my waves a nice soft look. I use 2 pea size drops on my fairly thick hair, after towel drying. I think I could get away with less product but I am a conditioning junkie, plus I get this at wholesale so its not so expensive for me. Would like a bigger tube tho. Would purchase again.
