I am on my second tube of this mask. I use it about every other week, sometimes once a week. It works pretty good at making my face feel clean, my pores tightened, and my skin smoother. It can burn if you have sensitive skin. Here's my routine when using this mask: I remove my makeup with Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes (blue package). Then I wash my face with my Clarisonic Mia 2 and Clean and Clear Acne Control Cleanser with 10% benzoyl peroxide. Then I dry my face and apply this mask. After removing the mask, I apply my Equate Day/Night Eye Cream and Coconut Oil.
When I first apply this mask after using my Clarisonic, it burns like crazy for about 30 seconds. Then it cools down and starts to harden. So, if you have really sensitive skin and are not sure if you can stand the heat of the stinging, do not use a Clarisonic or a scrub directly before using this mask.
I don't by any means think this is the best mask out there. However, for the low cost and the effectiveness, I'll keep repurchasing.
Felt really nice when I had the mask on. But I have sensitive skin which is also acne-prone and this made me itchy afterwards! I don't think this is for people with really sensitive skin like me..I've found that a lot of products make my face red or itchy, so this might just be me..I wish my face hadn't reacted to it, cus I did like it! Oh well..
I love this mask. I got it at Walmart for very very cheap. It's a nice creamy formula and goes on easily. I love the smell and it makes my face feel refreshed after.
The only downside is sometimes it bothers my eyes (from the mask being on my cheeks), but that's bearable and not a big deal.
It's worth a buy for a cheap and effective mask!
THIS PRODUCT IS MY SAVIOUR. I have suffered from acne for about four years now. I have tried EVERYTHING OTC as well as most prescription creams(Benzol peroxide base, retinols, zinc creams, etc) and antbiotics. Nothing has kept the awful acne at bay. I never had cystic acne but I had at least five red, angry pimples on my face everyday. So I had very persistent acne (black&white heads, pustules and more.)
I have used this for a WEEK, and my skin the most clear it's ever been in the last couple years!!
Wash w/ La Roche Posay Effaclar Deep Cleansing Foaming Cream
Moisturize with La Roche Posay M daily mattifying moisturizer
(then make up if I'm going somewhere)
Cetaphil for oily skin facewash (make sure to get all the make up off!!)
dab my skin dry, apply Freeman's avocado and oatmeal clay mask all over face and neck. I use a generous amount too :P
Wait approximately half an hour (or until completely dry)
Wash off mask, dab dry
mix half retin-a micro with my la roche posay moisturizer
THEN (THIS IS THE MAGICAL PART)
I spot treat on the big pimples with the CLAY MASK!!
I also apply a thin layer on my nose and chin, and sleep with it over night. This has gotten rid of almost ALL my black and white heads!!
For about a week, I have been using it every single day, and will continue for another week. Please note that I have VERY oily skin!
After two weeks I will cut down to every other day, then I am hoping I can cut down even more to just keep the acne at bay :)
If you have any questions just MSg me!
I've used this creamy mask once a week for several years on my dry and sensitive skin. The green color makes it easy to see where it's been applied. I apply a thin layer and leave it on until dry and use a damp washcloth for removal. My skin feels smooth and there's no irritation.
This stuff is magic in a tube! I had two stubborn zits on my nose for about a week and a half and this dried them up after two uses. It even made my pores look smaller, which is great since over the past few years they've been expanding and collecting more dirt as a result. The only thing I didn't like about this mask was that it made my eyes sting/water as I was applying it to my face. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone with pore issues and oily skin. If you're already dry, using this might exacerbate the problem.
Love it! It evens the skin tone, tightens pores, helps with black spots and isn't drying. And I love the smell too=) My skin is sensitive and VERY fair, I look almost white. So every little red spot spoils it all and I'm always in a search for a good cleansing clay mask. Well I think my search is over! It reminds me of Lancome Pure Empreinte, but I surely love the Freemans' more because of the price.
I like this product a lot! It always manages to clar up my occasional pimples, and I love the cool feeling on my skin when I apply it. It does nothing for blackheads, though. I have dry skin, and after I use this mask, my skin feels soft and moisturized like silk. I have one complaint, though... After I use this product, my skin has a slight green tint for the next 24 hours no matter how well I wash my face immediately afterwards. It's a noticeable color change. If it wasn't for that, though, I'd give this product a 4/5.
This mask is so far the best mask ive ever used. this mask made those bumps on my face to reduce in size. Like, seriously. Yesterday i used this mask because i have this big, red pimple (which is annoying) on my forehead and just after the application i could totally feel it to start reducing its size which is AWESOMEEE even though it didnt remove the pimple completely but atleast it wont be really obvious compare to before the application. THIS is just the BEST mask. I would love to recommend this to people who suffer from small bumps on their faces!
This is an awesome product at such an affordable price. When I use this I notice my skin is nice and soft. My skin feels tighter, which is good because the dirt and oil is being pushed out from the pores!
I highly recommend this to anyone!
