I absolutely hate this product. At first, the brush seemed to work okay (and that's just being nice by saying that). After a wash or two, the brush quality just went downhill. The brush is very harsh to the skin and sheds like crazy. After a few washes, the brush seems like it turned into broom. The quality just does not uphold just like many other Bare Escentuals brushes being produced because they all seem to have the same problem.
The only reason I wouldn't buy this brush again is that I have purchased new brushes.
I thought the bristles where a little stiff, definitely a better price than MAC's brush, I would only use this as an all over face brush, for applying my setting powder but my MAC 129 is so much better and worth every penny
Really horrible brush, comes with the beginners kit which I bought but deeply regret. It sheds like crazy and feels irritating on the skin.
Agree. Scratchy and irritating. One of the worst brushes ever.
This brush is super scratchy and irritating. It literally 'hurts' my face to use. There are WAY better brushes than this. I prefer MAC.
This brush irritates my face and sheds. Stay away.
I find this brush to be very hard and scratchy on my face. I never reach for it if I have any other brush at all that I can use instead. I also found that it shed quite a bit more than other equivalently priced brushes, particularly when washed.
This is horrid! It does not blend well, the hairs fall out, it loses the shape after awhile of use, and is too small. It also irritates my face, which is not easily irritable... I have nothing good to say about this brush! If you want a nicer kabuki I would definetly try another line, as this one plain out sucks!
My Kabuki is from the BE beginner's kit or whatnot.
It's hairs are not as soft as your average high-end brand brush.
Of course I only used this with BE before... but..
I found a use for this in my daily routine.
My skin is sensitive, and I don't find that this brush does anything funny to my skin. I use it after I've done ALL my face makeup, and I whisk this around and buff everything to "blend" everything into my skin.
It's like a Fix+ in a brush form.
So I'm glad that I kept this around.
There may be better bukis out there, but I don't find it a necessary brush and I probably wouldn't buy another one, if ever.
This was the first non-drugstore brand makeup brush I had...so I didn't have much to compare it to. I got it with the starter kit...and so far, I'm not really a fan of BE. The brush does a good job getting the mineral foundation on my face, the coverage is great and the brush blends everything out. The brush works fine, but it's so NOT soft. I'm pretty much scratching my face to get the makeup on. And after washing it a few times, it's definitely shedding and the bristles have dried out a bit (I do use brush shampoo and not just regular soap). I'm thinking of trying out the retractable Ecotools, so we'll see. I'm still using it right now bc it's the only kabuki I've got, but for the money, I would not buy it.
