Bottom line: it's a pretty floral (but not sickly sweet), I get compliments all the time, and it doesn't give me a headache. One of the few perfumes I have bought more than once.
I like this scent a lot. It is a soft fragrance, which I prefer.
I don't care if everyone and her grandma is wearing this stuff, because I LOVE it. I try to alternate other fragrances so I'm not wearing it every single day, but sometimes I'm tempted. It's classic, feminine, and sophisticated and doesn't have that waful powdery undertone that a lot of florals do. Smells bright and crisp. EDIT 2/8/07: I wore this again yesterday after not having used it for a long time, and I just don't like it the way I used to. For the longest time, I was going back and forth between J'adore and Vera Wang (they smell so similar to me). J'adore seemed easier to wear; I thought Vera had a harsh edge. Anyway, now I prefer the Vera. I'm picking up a lot more of the fruity notes in J'adore now, and those just aren't my cup of tea anymore. Must be getting old!
This is my favorite fragrance. It is the only one I've stuck with for over a year! I've received many, many compliments about this scent - my girl friends love it and are always using it and several of my guy friends have been caught off-guard gushing, "wow, you smell amazing" and "that smells fantastic" - no exaggeration here, those are real quotes. Anyways, I highly reccommend it! Enjoy!
A light, floral scent. Nothing bold, edgy, or unique. I sort of liked it, but then my boyfriend thought it smelled awful.
A nice floral smell that has a sweet fruity hint to it. It's a very sophisticated smell but girly at the same time.
This is nothing extraordinary. Very floral and sort of fruity. Not too strong which would make it nice for daytime, but I wouldn't buy this. It's kind of boring. But the bottle is very pretty and the price is ok (for a perfume).
I'm going to cheat again. I'm bad at describing perfumes, so I'm going to use the Sephora website for help. They describe its blend as “floral” and explain that its notes are “mandarin, champaca flowers, ivy, African orchid, rose, violet, Damascus plum, amaranth wood and blackberry musk.” I would describe this scent as extremely feminine and light. I really liked it at first, but now I’m not so sure. I still like it, but it’s definitely not on my top favorites list. I probably will not re-purchase; at least not right away.
It's my everyday fragrance. It's an upbeat fresh and just smells great on me. I like it because it's not overpowering for office wear. I continue to love this one. Highly recommend the lotions/creams also.
When this 1st came out, I was really expecting and extraordinary fragrance, but this fell short by a mile. It's very average, and the scent harmony just isn't there.
