I adored this so! Back in the 80's this was the scent that everyone talked about and that everyone had to have. Now, I'm just not feeling it. The smell is just sickening to me. Perhaps it will change? Ah, Giorgio have I loved so long ago. (Ok, I'm only 35 years young here!)
Yep, I am a child of the eighties. In that decade, I wore, and loved Giorgio. It was definitely a fad then, but I gotta agree with one of the reviewers who said it must be a true classic to have stood the test of time as this as. No, of course it is not for everyone, nothing is, but on some women, this is fabulous. I happen to be one of the ones who wear it very well. I get compliments on it when I do wear it, and enjoy smelling it on myself all day. Too much is too much, I agree with that...but if you use commen sense and just wear a spritz or 2 it is is quite lovely. I am a huge floral fan, and to me this one ranks up there with Beautiful, a timeless classic with a commanding presence. What's wrong with that?

This is worse than the Red. And I hated that one. This really stinks bad. Like some awful chemical stuff ( used for bugs?). My sis used to wear this and it's a barf chunk inducer. Really. It's strong and lasts a long time, but it's just cheap and sweat smelling. Yuck! It's so 80's. Stuff stank back then, eh?
I wore a really great dupe of this in the 80's, not Primo but another one called Georgy Girl, and it smelled *exactly* like Giorgio! I loved the scent and went through two bottles of the knockoff and really enjoyed it. Then I got tired of it and moved on to another scent. I had been a bit afraid to relive Giorgio because I wanted it to remain untarnished in my memories forever. But... for some stupid reason today I spritzed my wrist with some, just once. And I wish now that I had not. It starts out like my memories, sweet and bright - but then it sharpens into a jagged and bitter unpleasantness. Just like Poison, I wish I had left it alone, my memories were better than this harsh reality. No Sale.

This is my 82 year old grannys sig. scent. The only reason i like it is because it reminds me of her!! I think even after she is gone I would like to have a bottle of this is to always remind me of her forever and ever!!!!!!!!!
Okay in my younger years (In the 80's and 90's) I loved this perfume. It does bring back great memories but alas I put it on recently and couldnt stand the smell on me. Even my daughter left the room saying that it smelled bad. I guess this scent was meant to be left in the past. I will never repurchase.
Wow...this brought back memories of the 80's! There I am in a club dancing to Donna Summer in a tight pair of Gloria Vanderbilt jeans (remember the little swan insignia?) and wearing my Giorgio! I liked it then, and it brings up some fun memories, but I haven't been into Giorgio in years. It's not so much that it smells bad...I had boyfriends that LOVED that stuff, but it's just from another time and place. My nose just doesn't like it like it did in the early 80's. :)
