This is a fantastic product! I have very oily skin and this powder used together with Clinique's Pore Minimizer Shine Control Serum keeps me matte for the entire day. For me this routine is so effective that when I sometimes do not put anything on my face for a few hours, I am really surprised by how much sebum my skin produces. In other words, it makes me forget about my greasy face, which is a blessing, since judging by my mum's skin I will be stuck with seriously oily skin well into my fifties!
It keeps my make-up in place and if I do fancy going out in the evening after a whole day out, I can just simply powder my nose and avoid re-doing my face all over again! It lasts for absolute ages, making it very good value for money. I should mention that it contains talc, but I did not suffer from any break-outs because of it.
Give it a try and if you do not like it, you can always sell it onto me! This powder really is wonderful.

I am so, so disappointed in how this product worked for me. I have super oily skin and have tried everything to get it under control (oil control lotion, toners, facial masks, primers, powders, and any combination of these things with different foundations), but nothing has worked. This was no exception, regardless of how much or how little I put on. It keeps me from looking shiny for maybe an hour after I put my make up on (granted, I'd typically look shiny in about half an hour), which isn't that helpful. The one positive thing about it is it doesn't look like I have powder on my face after I apply it (even if I accidentally put too much on)--the finish is really natural.
Edit: I've found that this does work for me if and only if I do the following: apply it over my moisturizer/under my primer, apply it again over my foundation, and once again over my make-up setting spray. I don't think that I should have to put that much effort in for the amount of money that I paid for this (as baby powder has the same effect and takes the same amount of effort). I definitely wouldn't buy this again.

This is an awesome product! At 16 my skin is insanely easy and prone to breakouts. However this has done wonders for it! I dont see any shine through and and my face is matte all day. It gives a nice smooth feeling to ur skin and is completely translucent. My only problem is that if u have a dry spot it may accentuate it. but with exfoliation its not a problem. i've fallen in love with this product. It is truly the best loose powder out there :)

I realize now that my skin is extremely way over the top oily! It is a blessing in disguise because at 42, I don't have wrinkles. Anyway, I so wanted this powder to work for me. It did control the oil for approximately one hour longer than with other powders but so far, the best powder I've used for controlling my oilies has been cornsilk pressed powder. Unfortunately, Sally Hansen has discontinued this wonderful powder. Kryolan anti shine powder goes on similar to MUFE HD powder in that it does give your skin a luminous finish. I would not repurchase this powder but I'm glad I have it in my collection.

Wow, another MUA success story! I bought this powder on ebay for $23 after reading the astonishingly positive reviews on this board even though I was majorly strapped for cash at the time. I was soo hoping that this would live up to the hype and be able to control the shine. I was basically looking for a product that would control my uber-oily skin for 6-8 hrs. I hate blotting/touchups in the middle of my day. And this really delivers!!! I can put my makeup on in the morning and not have to blot my face until 8 hrs later! The only thing is that the powder can give you a slightly whitish/fake look when you first apply but you can easily spray some fix + or wait for 20-30 and you'll end up with the perfect natural-not shiny- glow. It does minimize pores and imperfections but there isn't much coverage. I use over concealer and Rimmel recover primer and I'm good to go! Would def recommend to girls with really oily skin.

Someone please tell me what was in this powder that tore my face up. After a few weeks of using this, it is almost as if I woke up and my face had twenty something pimples on it. OK--Maybe not twenty..but way too many considering I usually only get one a month. I was really hoping I had found my HG powder with all the great reviews! Of course, I should have known, I would be the exception to the rule. A little about my skin--oily, sensitive, and like a said, a pimple or two a month. I may give it another try once my face settles down just to make sure this was the ONLY culprit. But, for now, I am pretty sure this is the main reason my face ended up looking like a tragic mess.

This stuff is so far beyond what I used to use and recommend --- Palladio rice powder --- that I can't even fathom ever changing to anything else. First of all, the application is incredibly beautiful. As soon as I put it on I'm always like "Wow, my skin looks AWESOME." And honestly my skin isn't anything to write home about, even *after* I apply my makeup with a trowel. ;) I don't know how it does it, but it just has the most beautiful finish and yet --- miracle of miracles --- it never looks powdery. At all. It's so weird to think that a pure white powder would utterly and completely disappear as soon as you apply it, but there you have it.
Now on to what *really* matters if you have oily skin. (Caveat: I also use Fyrinnae's Silica Primer Gel, which is *awesome* and insanely cheap). All day. No shine break through. Yes, you read that exactly as I wrote it. ALL DAY. NO SHINE BREAKTHROUGH. I was already doing pretty well with my primer and honestly thought that with as good as that was things weren't going to get better for me, shine-wise. Wow, was I ever wrong. I seriously come home from a full day's work and consistently look at myself in the mirror and think something like, "Well, I'm going to wash my face because that's what I've always done and I'm an oily girl so my face is all gucky." But the truth is the mirror tells a different story. My makeup seriously looks like it did when I applied it, I am not even kidding around. This stuff is so head and shoulders above everything else I have tried --- and honestly I *thought* I was satisfied with Palladio loose rice powder which gets GREAT reviews here! that it's like it's a different species of creature than other powders.
You know how you see people sometimes and their legs are so long or their eyelashes or whatever that you're like, "Are you sure we're both the same species?" That is what this powder is like. And the amount you get is HUGE even though you need the tiniest amount per use. Still, I want to buy like a hundred and seventeen jars of this stuff, because it is THAT good. This stuff is honestly beyond HG for me --- it's almost like I have found a powder that has allowed me to change my genetics. And hey, $15 is cheaper than gene therapy.

This has become my HG powder thanks to P'ville!! I was a little hesitant about this product due to the fact it's theatrical makeup. Why do I want theatrical makeup? Well, I bit my tongue there. This beat all of the powders I have purchased and tried. I actually threw away my MAC Blot Powder for this. After all the years of wearing MAC powders, this is the absolute winner. It's light, airy. A little goes a long way if you use a powder brush with it. You get a HUGE amount of product. I'm an oily skin sufferer and have been since I was 13 yrs. old. I've been using this product for 2 months now. I apply my makeup in the morning and take it off at night. I only have to re-touch twice, compared to MAC Blot Powder (which is more than 5x). This product did not clog my pores nor did it make my NC40 skin turn into a pale color. The powder is white, but translucent. It will not mess your foundation up. If you are like me and suffer from break-outs and oiliness, try this product. If you don't like it you could always swap it. This stuff is worth it!!

Just got this today....I was so excited I put it on after being out all day. I was about 1/2 as oily as I usually get. I used my Mary Kay oil mattifying lotion in the morning so I wasn't oil slick level but even then, I noticed the difference after putting this on. I feel so comfortable, not oily at all, not dried out mask-like, no heavy makeup feel, I don't even feel like I have anything on my face, just nice and matte.
There's no odor to it, it's lightweight and translucent..I do not look like I have any powder on at all!! It felt like heaven going on with my Sonia Kashuk powder brush.
It's the weekend and the real test is Monday at work, when I start at 6am and finish at 6pm...we'll see how it goes!!

10/28/09: Update- I have since stopped using my MK oil mattifying and just use this powder once at 5:30am and a quick touch up at 12:00pm, although I'm not oily at noon, I just like to refresh my make-up mid-day so I finish it off with this.....I won't ever be out of this powder if I can help it..8)

10/15/10: 2nd update: I'm so mad that the TSA took my Kryolan at the airport...it's kinda suspicious looking I guess, white powder in a plain lil jar with a silver lid, but please!!! I was very upset!! anyhow, bought it again and am in love again.....i brush it on around 6 am and don't have to freshen my face all day if I don't want to, no more oil slicks for me and I won't let the TSA have it this time..ha!ha! (btw, bought it off ebay for about $22 delivered)
