It is a nice shampoo that cleans very well without stripping, but when I rinse it off, it leaves my hair smelling like "ngo" (cilantro/coriander)! I cannot STAND the taste or smell of cilantro! My hair always holds the shampoo scent no matter what conditioner I use! I like Herbal Essences' cheap and nice shampoos, but the only scents I can stand are 'None of Your Frizzness' and 'Long Term Relationship'.

this smells amazing like all the other shampoos from herbal essences. i have normal hair with a scalp that can get flakey easily so i do find this too drying, which is okay since i bought this meaning to use it as a clarifying shampoo. I would definitely not use this regularly. when i use this, i have to put in twice the amount of chi silk infusion that i regularly would use to make my hair as shiney and soft as it usually is with my head and shoulders classic clean shampoo.

it leaves my hair literally squeaky clean which i guess is what makes it so drying.

it did dry out my scalp, making it extra flakey.

Seriously, I would buy this shampoo just for the smell. True, it really does make your hair feel light and smooth and fresh, but in all honesty I love the smell more than all of that put together. In fact, if I ever used to feel sick, I would go into my bathroom and smell this shampoo and feel instantly better. :-P

I was using the color me happy because I liked the smell but after awhile I wasnt happy with the way my hair felt (too much product build up) so I switched to this one. I love the smell and the build up is gone, this is a great product for the price I love it! when my conditioner is gone I will be getting the drama clean conditioner too

I've tried several different Herbal Essences shampoos, and this is one of my favorites. I have very fine, oily hair, to the point that I have to wash it every day and sometimes rewash my bangs mid-day because they get greasy. The Drama Clean shampoo does a nice job of clarifying my hair while still leaving it soft, shiny, and full. I have not experienced the over-drying that other posters have mentioned. I find the scent pleasany without being too overpowering. Somewhat fruity, but light enough that it doesn't smell perfumey and gross.

My husband could not wear anything black because of such a dry scalp. I purchased the Herbal Essences Drama Clean refreshing shampoo, and within days his friends stopped brushing off his shoulders due to dry flakes all over them. He can now wear any color he pleases and his hair looks much more alive and healthier. I even sent some to his mother due to the same problem. Literally, no more dry scalp at all! It is truly a wonderful product. He has tried everything on the market, even the shampoos that burn like fire. Nothing worked until now. Sincerely a true believer.

I have fine, oily hair with dry, damaged ends. I used to wash my hair with a clarifying shampoo then follow with a rich conditioner strictly on the ends, but realized it was actually drying my roots. Since I figured I obviously can't use a clarifying shampoo on a regular basis, I reached for this hoping it would cleanse my hair well without drying it as much. Even though that's exactly what it claims and it is in fact a clear shampoo (transparent shampoos are known to be oil free and therefore great to remove oils) I didn't see much of a difference to a regular shampoo. And I didn't really like the scent either. It smells sort of like sour candy. So far I'm disappointed with the Herbal Essences line. I still have to try Body Envy though, as my former favorite Pantene volumizing shampoo was discontinued in my country.

I loved this! I tried it about 4 years ago when I first started college. I remember it smells better during washing than in the bottle. I had my hair chemically straightened in Korea that summer, and this shampoo cleaned my scalp and left my straightened hair with nice volume.

I love this shampoo because it cleans my hair very well. I needed a product that helps me out to remove the excesive oil of my hair after two days, because I read about oily hair, and they recomended not to wash it everyday! Plus it smells really good, fruty and clean. Does not weig it down. If you have normal hair, I just recomend this to use once a week, to get rid of the buld up. If you have dry hair, do not use it, or use a very rich conditioner.
