I just received this in the mail two days ago and I'm returning it today. The color is lovely on me (NC15), but it takes quite a bit of effort to blend it in. I have extremely sensitive, rosacea-prone skin and it's irritating to have to blend so thoroughly. These are quite a bit thicker than I would have guessed and not nearly slippery enough for my taste. I was also sad to see that these contain jojoba esters and I am extremely allergic to jojoba. It would have been a disaster if I'd worn it for more than a day.

kind of scary in the pot, actually - it's almost a pure bubblegum pink, and it's very very bright. on my fair-neutral asian skin, however (NC15-20, bobbi brown cool beige), it imparts a nice, cheerful, youthful pink.
this is a true pink, it's not rose, it's not peach, it's not fuchsia, it is a straight-up pastel pink - i personally love it, but those of you who want a warmer pink may want to try powder pink instead (which i also use). i alternate between pale pink & powder pink with the seasons, as pale pink can seem kind of garish/cartoonish in the fall/winter, and powder pink has just enough brown/beige in it to tone the brightness down a notch.
it is a creamy/matte color but gives a dewy, healthy finish (it is not cream to powder, it is a cream), slightly tacky at first but blends like a dream. i personally am a big fan of bobbi's pot rouges, as they multitask, come in a wide range of colors for all skin tones, and last forever (good longevity and comes in a huge pot).
on lips it's slightly drying but that is easily remedied by adding lip balm. i use either a clear lip balm (kiehl's in pear or mango) or MAC tinted lip conditioner in petting pink to bump it up a little and add a sheen/spf.
you can add a bit of shimmer by tapping on a shimmer brick or a lighter colored shimmer blush, but since it's dewy anyway, i tend to leave it as is, or set it with a bit of coordinating blush powder (bobbi brown slopes, pale pink, nectar are all good choices) for a more matte look. it enhances the longevity of other blushes when layered.
it is largely fragrance free (does have a slight lipstick-y taste), and works great on my skin without causing problems. for reference i have sensitive but combo skin with very dry cheeks/eye area & oily t-zone and chin. my only wish: i wish it came with a mirror of some sort... maybe they could build one into the lid? i don't carry powder (have one in the office, and one at home for touch ups only, and carry blotting papers instead) and wished it came with a mirror so i can carry one less thing in my purse... the NARS ones all have mirrors, and have great texture, but are seriously lacking in the color department, while bobbi also has good texture and color, while lacking good packaging... i guess we can't have it all.
overall, i strongly recommend this to fair tone gals looking for a bit of a pick me up. however, powder pink is more neutral and appropriate for the office, unless you use a light hand with this one on the lips (on the cheeks, it's okay, but too much on the lips and you look like barbie). continued >>

I'm fair-skinned and so far this is the best blush I've found for giving that "natural flush" color to my cheeks. I think a big part of that is due to the texture, which melts into my skin instead of being powdery. The color leans more towards pure pink than berry or red. I have other blushes that I like, but this is one I often come back to and look upon as a staple in my collection.
Ohhhkay, so I've tried really hard to abstain from these little Pot Rouges because to be perfectly honest, I was afraid of cream blush.
I ordered this little beauty a week ago from QVC (gotta love that easy pay!) and received it today in the mail. This prompted an "Oh my gosh, I gotta wash my face so I can try out this blush!" so twenty minutes later, I was seated at my vanity, about to apply the perfection that is Pale Pink Pot Rouge.
The packaging is simple. Gotta love the large lettering on the bottom, detailing the color of the product. The pot is just big around enough that I could dip my Sonia Kashuk skunk brush into it lightly. I dabbed it onto the apples of my cheeks and then blended it out for about two seconds. It was instant gorgeous. I went one step further, grabbed out a lip brush and began to apply this to my lips...wowser. No weird smell. Not exactly moisturizing on the lips, but a quick topcoat of my handy Blistex lip balm and BAM! It was on and poppin'!
I can see myself reaching for this DAILY. It is so gorgeous!
Why don't you have this by now?!

first of all, great colour.
i have very light-ivory skin and this looks great.
the only bad thing about this is that it's not a powder; its kind of like the consistency of a lipstick....only softer and more blendable.
so although it does not look cakey, you need to apply this before your powder which means that the colour will not be as vibrant once you put your powder on.
if you have too much foundation on, as you apply this blush, your foundation will move with it....(hm a bit hard to understand)
also, there is SO much product it will last me a life time!!!!! and you use only tiny amounts at a time....
i would rather they half the amount of product and lower the price tag.
still, i use it everday as it gives this beautiful fresh faced glow:)

This is basically the color I dream of when I think of cotton candy pink--a cool, matte bubblegum shade. The rouge itself has a somewhat waxy consistency (like lipstick), but I have had no issues with it and clogging up my pores.
I find this product to blend easily and stays very true to color through the day. Beautiful stuff! continued >>

This is the best cheek color. I'm really pale and this makes my whole face glow. I also have really oily skin and it's hard to find a blush that stays put all day. I've had my pot for eight months now and you can't even tell I've used it. It also looks amazing on lips. What I do it put this one after my foundation, I jut dab a little on my finger and then pat on the apples of my cheek, after that I layer on MAC's blushbaby, it makes a beautiful combination. This little thing is going to last me long time. Go get one today.

I ordered this because I wanted to simplify my make-up routine and didn't like the texture of Stila Convertible Colours (why they win so many awards I have no clue!).Anyway I asked the Make-up board who were all really helpful as to which colour would be best for me, I am super pale with light freckles and my skintone leans towards cool, It came down to this and powder pink. After looking at pics and reading the reviews I decided to order pale pink and I love it!
The texture is beautiful glides on easily doesn't clog my pores and doesn't feel heavy on my skin like the Stila one does. The Colour is a really subtle pop of pink flush on my cheeks which gives me a healthy glow which surprisingly lasts all day. It is incredibly easy to use and blends so smoothly it looks really natural which is the look I like to go for most often. Natural, healthy, me but better and this achieves this.
Plus by eliminating powder blush with brush application it saves time in the morning and I don't need to reapply, even if i did it is far easier carrying this little pot than powder and a brush!
I think I will try more colours for different looks too
I got my hands on Pale Pink when I was riding my Bobbi Wave (...) I adore the concept of pot rouges, but I find this color less suitable for the lips. As a creme rouge it is near perfect being a neutral fuchsia pink on my skin. In comparison Pink Raspberry is more reddish, with less of a hot pink tone. I can layer this on various foundation types with no problem. It can be applied with a brush, but be very careful not to overdo it! Finger application is probably the best. Lovely natural flush with superior staying power. It does require some more attention than powder blush application. Great for summer - will survive a dip in the ocean and sweat pearls. Huge amount and very cost-effective.

A fool-proof, very sheer kind of blush. Great for pales (I'm NC15). First I was afraid of it, 'cause usually I wear warm peachy blush, but it looks so naturally and refreshing! Stays on cheeks for a whole day and doesn't clog the pores. The packaging is cute and simple, though there's no mirror. Looks very nice on lips too, but dries them a little, so my lips definitely didn't like it in winter months=((
