Before I tried this, I was sceptical of the need for a primer. I didn't think there was any way one could live up to the hype. Now I wouldn't be without this product. I've since tried other (cheaper) primers, but none of them work for me - they're too slippery, or too coloured, or just don't have any effect at all.

This goes on beautifully, and makes my shadows last brilliantly without creasing or fading. Nothing else I've tried has had nearly the same effect. Colours are intense, apply cleanly on top of the primer, and don't move. My eye makeup looks as good after eight hours as it does fresh!

It doesn't irritate my skin or dry it out either. I can't imagine not using it when the difference it make is so dramatic.

so it came with my NAKED 1 palette and I was excited to try the primer but it did not work for me. it creased horribly through out the day and honestly my eyes were better off not primed than primed with this.

This works for me but it's also the only eye primer I've tried (besides Mac painterly, but I consider that more of a shadow base). I also don't find this to be that expensive bc I've always been able to find it on sale or at Nordstrom rack for half off (the original curved tube, however). I'm giving this a four star rating for now until I try some other primers, but overall, this makes my shadow almost smudge proof, gives them a stronger pop of color, and feels lightweight on my lids. Can't complain at all!

This is the first eye shadow primer I ever tried, and that was a long time ago. I remember trying this out along with UD 24/7 eyeliner pencil. I have pretty oily lids and my eye makeup tends to slide around and transfer throughout the day. Using this worked better than having nothing on my lids, but it was not the miracle product I was hoping for. Eyes still seemed messy and blurred by the end of the day. The 24/7 pencil didn't work on me either. Now that I am older and no longer a teenager I am not drawn into cosmetics by their adorable packaging, like UD. I have been using Tarte's clean slate 360 eye primer and that has been working slightly better that the UD one. I am planning to try out Shadow Insurance once I run out. I have also tried the NARS eye primer which I hated. Primer potion certainly is the worst but for me it wasn't the best. I'll keep hunting.

First of all, the packaging is BEAUTIFUL. Love the genie inspired design of it. But the product itself is what really sold me. I now know why everybody rave(s)(ed) about the UDPP. It's amazing! I had some eyeshadows that were not pigmented at all. But ones I applied the UDPP, they color just showed up magically! It really helps with keep eyeshadows lasting longer and helping them appear brighter. It does exactly what it says it does. I really like the "pointy" end of the tube where the product comes out. It helps control how much product comes out. Especially since you only need a tiny sized amount. It's also great for covering up those minor imperfections on your lids like veins.

I myself, don't think it's that expensive. It's definitely worth the money. I recommend this product for sure! It's a must have in a makeup collection.

Great product. Makes my eyeshadow last all day without smudging or losing any life. This is well worth the money. All you need is a little drop of it so even though it looks quite small, it lasts a long time!

This is my last resort primer. It does help my shadows from creasing a little, but it dries my lids out more than anything. I have never had that happen before with the shadows that I use, so my only thought was it had to be the primer. It's cute packaging and everything, but I won't be repurchasing.

I have been using this for years. My eyeshadow stays in place for 18 hours through dancing, running, and napping. The new packaging is absolutely perfect for retrieving the correct amount for a single application. I recommend this to all my friends.

I really don't understand the hype behind this. It works fine as an eyeshadow primer, it grabs onto eyeshadow and makes them stay on longer but SO MANY other eye primers do just this and do it better at 1/3 the cost(Milani, Nyx, ELF, etc.) I use my nyx one and it is so much better - it grabs onto shadow better, makes colors pop, makes them crease-resistant, and is easy to blend, at 1/4 of the price. I would definitely say this is an extremely unnecessary product and to save your money.

This is a product for females who like to spend money on unnecessary cosmetics. Concelear will do the job just fine. Unless you're Kim Kardashian and your makeup must be picture perfect at all times, this product is very UNNECESSARY.
