I don't want to be negative, but this was awful for me. My lips became dry and damaged from wearing this, when they were fine before and I just wantd to protect them. I used the regular stick and not the butter.
I saw that someone was allergic to something in it, so I might also be since it burns and dries.
I like this lip balm a lot. Very moisturizing, goes on smoothly, and stays put (although it's not greasy or slick which some people might not like). It's not super long lasting though. I love that all-natural lip balms are becoming more popular, although I'm finding this one extremely hard to find in Canada. And not as cheap as in the States either :(. I'll be sure to stock up on these when I see them again!
This stuff is hands down amazing! This is a wonderful inexpensive lip balm that everyone should have in their purse, pocket, you name it you should have a couple of these lying around in your house! I even recommend this lip balm to men because it has a very light coconuty scent and it's not shiny. It has a moisturizing matte texture and the plus is it's all natural.
What are you waiting for, go out and buy some, it's less then $2 bucks!
This stuff is wonderful. It's perfect for applying when you want an "All-Natural" look. It moisturizes well.

i have this right now! i saw an ad in seventeen and couldn't wait to get it! like many people, i'm a chapstick fanatic. i have all sorts of different ones. mainly the chapstick lip moisturizers in no fragrance. but i also have the disney princesses, all natural, moisturizer in vanilla mint, etc. i have about 20 of these in all my purses, backpacks, and jean pockets! this one is definitely more of a lip gloss style. it gives off a silky butter sheen and glimmers, but it wont help if you have chapped lips. it probably won't do much. i usually put chapstick on, then wait maybe 20 seconds and apply this lip butter. i like that it gives my lips a little sheen, and it smells pretty decent. love the ingredients too! (:
This product is excellent for those who like the traditional Chapsticks convenience but want to use less nasties on their lips. In Australia this retails for about $3-4 a tube. Pretty easy to find at specialists and/or bigger chemists who usually have a range of 10 different Chapsticks alone. I gather the tocopheryl/tocopherol are plant derived Vit E compounds. There is no sunscreen protection in the balm so not suitable for prolonged outdoor use. I find it reasonably hydrating for the lips and unlike other Chapsticks there's no chemical smell...it's quite pleasant and honey-like IMO
Ingredients: Ingredients: Sunflower seed oil, Jojoba esters, Candelilla wax, Coconut oil, Beeswax, natural flavours (not bad actually), Mango seed butter, Shea butter extract, Carnuaba wax, d-alpha-Tocopheryl, Meadowfoam seed oil, Tocopherol.
Update: June 08...still my fave. Doesn't get funky like other lip balms. Also discovered that I can scoop out the last scraps and soften/mix with sugar for a great lip scrub! :D

Although I never use this word, I have to describe this product as meh. The packaging is good; I prefer the stick format to lip balm in a pot which just gets under my nails and is unhygenic I think. In terms of price, I don't remember what I paid but since I bought it at Shopper's Drug Mart I'm sure it was overpriced. Anyway, I have a real problem with dry, chapped lips and I was forever putting Vaseline on so I thought it would be a good idea to use something not mineral-based for a change. I used to have this Carol's Daughter lip balm that was really moisturizing but too fruity-smelling but I lost it. Anyway. I saw this and thought I'd give it a try. The smell is ok but I personally prefer a minty-smelling Chapstick. It's really stiff going on and continues to feel stiff on your lips. I also don't feel like it lasts as long as other "non-natural" Chapsticks. But it definitely works; I've noticed a big improvement on my lips and if I go a couple of days without using it the extreme dryness comes back. I think the best strategy for this is to apply it and then a thin layer of Vaseline or something over it. That way you're getting the benefits of a natural lip balm (if there are any of it) but the slickness of the Vaseline as well.
Great lip balm! It really moisturizes and for some reason, it makes me want to kiss people LOL! Especially since it's winter now I need something for my poor lips because every year I get cracked, dry, RED lips. Seriously, it's just awful. But with this, I think my lips can get a vacation! <3 Will buy again, I have this in the yellow tube, now I want to get the coconut one. =D continued >>
I have been using this lip balm for about a week and it is really a god-send for the winter. It goes on smoothly, sinks in, and moisturizes well. This has been good for banishing winter-dry, cracked, peeling lips. It has a slight coconut scent, which I like. Unfortunately I think this has been discontinued; Chapstick has come out with two new "all natural" chapsticks in its place.
Edited: I seem to be allergic to something in this -- it makes my lips puffy and swollen and on fire. I will leave the rating as is because it did moisturize and I really liked this lipbalm... I just wish I could use it. :-(
