It's too powdery and smears after a while, and the packaging sucks. It randomly opens sometimes. Brush is also hard to use. You need a plastic bag or something for this because the cakes of product cracks into a thin crumbly powder, & spills into your bag. When you use it, powder falls onto your cheeks.
Have started using this as an eyeliner by wetting the brush..it's working out okay...eyes look naturally defined I guess. Can't wait to finish this crappy thing up, though.
I bought this the other day and I cant believe that I havent thought of trying it in the past. I have been using another brand but some would say the color doesnt look natural, looks harsh. Anyway, I bought the 02 shade and I am glad I did! Its darker brown shade looks so natural on me! Its long lasting too, wont wear off even if you perspire or have an oily face. And btw, its easy to apply, I use the slanted brush from my tbs mini brush kit. Anways, 1 lippie off because the brush in the kit is useless...this is my HG brow kit now. I'll be devastated if TBS will discontinue this...
I have been using this product everyday for 9 months, and I think it will last me another 2 years :) The color I bought is #02, and I use the lighter color for the front and the darker color for the end of my eyebrow. Color blends nicely. Doesn't use the brush coz it's not very easy to hold. Bought another round headed brush instead. Sometimes I use the darker color as eyeliner and also to make my gel eyeliner more lasting (so that it won't go off so easily when my eyelids become oily). Would definitely buy the pdt again :D
I use this a lot for my patchy eyebrows... This is fair priced and does the job. I think that the brush sucks, but I have a brush for my eyebrows anyways... I'd recommend this product.
Love this product - I have used brow pencils or regular eyeshadow before, but this does the trick so much better. Yes, you have to get used to the brush, it is a bit weird, but it really works. Long staying power....
I've finally found my HG brow set! I have thin, tapered brows that need to be filled in a little without looking unnatural or painted on. I've tried everything from NYC browzers to Chanel pencil. This stuff is perfect! I take TBS brow gel, drag the spoolie through each side of this powder, then swipe it on from inside to out. It's exactly the look I'm going for.
Works great for filling in my patchy eyebrows. The fine powder goes on evenly and looks really natural. It lasts all day and comes in a sturdy compact with a mirror. I took off one lippy, because the brush is a little awkward to use and the bristles are a bit stiff for my liking. I threw it out and use a different brush.
This was disappointing because I like a lot of Body Shop products.
It does the job, but the brush isn't so great, and when you use it, sometimesit kind of scrapes the powder and it goes everywhere. I think for the money I will look for a better brow kit somewhere else next time around.
I like this brow kit a lot. I wear brown for the day time, and usually black for something a bit more serious. Good staying power, and I really powder because it has such a natural finish. Can't say much for the little brush that comes with it though because it's too stiff and hard to control so I use my own eyebrow brush.
I got this Brow and Liner Kit in 03 to match my jet black brows and deep NC45-50 skintone. It contains 2 powders - an espresso colour and a soft black colour, packaged in a round silver compact with a mirror and a foldable dual-ended brush. One end is a dense, flat-top brush for brows and the other is a stiff thin liner brush.
After I got over my horror of the bizarre, cheap-looking fiddly little brush, I found both ends of the brush do the job fine. The soft black colour was a perfect match for my brows, and the espresso colour worked as a natural looking liner for me.
Staying power is reasonable enough - it lasted all day in the office but could probably do with a touch up for evenings, but this compact is just too bulky to carry around. continued >>
