This product gave me scars along my jawline from regular usage over around a year. I initial;ly thought my shampoo was the problem, the scars kept on coming as I stopped using the shampoos, conditioners ... anything else I could think might be to blame.

But no, it's definitely this.

This product does its job. It removes all dead skin, I would recommend using it in the shower because it is a little difficult to wash completely off in the sink. I use it weekly when my skin is feeling a little dry and flaky.

I really like this product & have been using it for 30+ years. I use it in the shower as needed to combat flaky skin (sides of nose are my worst spot). I have dry skin so that's usually 2 days a week. There is probably a better product out there but this smells good, is cheap, easy to find & it works for me. continued >>

I've been using this for years and I just keep coming back to it. I've tried off-brand versions and even pricier versions and this is hands down the best. I like that the scrub is nice and thick and doesn't have too much of a creamy filler. I don't find this to be too abrasive for my skin, but I might tell someone with sensitive skin to be weary of it. It does a great job of sloughing off all the dead skin on my face and really getting all the oil off, especially around the corners of my nose.

I definitely would stay away from this product if you have very dry, sensitive skin or at least try one of the milder, less harsh versions of this product; Such as St.Ives apricot scrub gentle sensitive skin. I have combination, oil and acne prone skin. This product works wonders for me when used only a few times a week at night time. NOT everyday. I like to use it in the shower when my pores are open. It really gets in and cleans out all the dirt and filth under your skin and all these excess dead skin and oil. When I start getting little bumps from my acne on my forehead or nose, etc. the apricot scrub helps to smooth down the bumps and reduce redness. It works amazingly before bed, with a moisturizer. I wake up with squeaky clean feeling, baby smooth skin and hardly any redness or bumps. I go through these bottles pretty fast, but they are not expensive. I have been using this scrub for years now. Definitely recommend to anyone, especially with acne prone skin.

I admit that this isn't something you should use every day, as it really is quite rough. That being said, when I worked at a summer camp, I DID use this every day, because it was the only thing that could scour my face of dirt, sweat, and grime at the end of the day. I'd say that it's definitely something you should use after exercise or anything dirty...otherwise, stick to once a week or so to get excess oil/dead skin off your face.

P.S. Don't squeeze the bottle too hard or it'll crack on the sides, which is quite annoying.

I personally disliked this product for a while because it made me break out A LOT. It is also very harsh for sensitive skin. Lately my skin has been adjusting to it and it made my skin very soft. For my best friend it works great because she doesn't have acne-prone skin, nor sensitive skin. If you have extremely sensitive skin i would not recommend this scrub.

While the product is value-for-money, I think it's just way too harsh on sensitive / dry skin! The sediments in it are pretty large and while during exfoliating it actually feels like it would remove whatever buildup there is, the post-wash experience isn't very nice: it's dry and my skin feels cakey and tight! Therefore...I don't really like the product? But for the price, it's definitely worth it. Either way, wouldn't use it again because I think its not suitable for my skin-type : dry and sensitive

This product is not expensive but for the price it is really good. Sure the texture of it can be rough and sometimes irritating to the skin, but I like that because it makes it feel like it has actually exfoliated my skin and gotten rid of old skin cells.

The packaging isn't the best since product can get left in the tube, but it does last me a long time since I only need to use about a quarter sized amount to cover my whole face.

All in all, a cheap, quick fix for rough skin.
