i love this color of gold! great pigment, texture, and easy to blend - but does not look too great with my fair complexion/blue eyes. i wear alot of golds no problem - i think this may be too yellow for me. i am holding out for summer and a tan and hopefully it will look better!

This eyeshadow is the prettiest gold out of mac's eyeshadow line. It is very pigmented like all their eyeshadows and shows up very well on tan skin. If you are going for a nutural look but dont want to be boring add a little of this and it looks beutiful.

Extremely beautiful! I absolutely love this gold, it's my all time favorite gold. It's super pigmented and lasting power is great. It's such a regal color in my opinion. I just love wearing this shadow. I'm kind of fair right now and surprisingly this shadow still looks amazing on. I'm such a gold lover and this is a must have!

This color is probably one of the most beautiful yellow golds that have come out of MAC. It almost looks like sunshine in a pot, and is probably one of my all time favorite yellows.


The application is extremely smooth and the texture is extremely buttery almost like a starflash shadow that is next to none in ease of blending. It is a frost without unnecessary sparkle. The pigmentation of Goldmine is extremely strong and a little bit goes a long way.


This is a lovely shadow to add to your normal neutral browns to add a slight bit of color that can either be a strong sunshine yellow or just a light wash depending on how much you put on. It is definitely capable of being built up into a very bright color.


Goldmine is a must have for any avid MAC shadow collector.

Goldmine eyeshadow is my favorite gold eyeshadow I have except for bare minerals true gold glimmer, but that is a loose shadow so I don't really count it in the same category as goldmine. Anyway, it's a gorgeous metallic shimmery gold color that looks great on all eye colors. It really brightens up my eyes and brings out the gold and green flecks in my hazel eyes. Goldmine looks great with many different colors, especially Sketch, Bronze, and Trax.

This is one of my favorite shadows. When it was first recommended to me I shied away because it looked so.......gold! But on, it is pretty and shimmery and really brings out the colors in my eyes. I get a lot of compliments with this color.

The perfect, pure gold shadow! It's a frost so it shimmers so pretty, it's not tacky glittery at all. I can wear it lid to brow and it looks amazing on my tan skin! Love it<3

A very nice gold color, more on the yellow side, is exacthy the color I was expecting

When I was trying to decide on this one or gorgeous gold I definitely had to swatch it for sure. The gorgeous gold has a bit more green in it, so I chose goldmine which I think is a truer gold. It's more on the yellow side, but it works well on my skin tone. I like to use it on the lid with ricepaper or dazzlelight in the inner corner, mulch in crease, & handwritten or sketch in the outer V. Oh...and of course vanilla, brule, or blanc type as a highlight color. Very pretty color & nice texture. Blends easily.

I cant count how many times I was standing over the MAC counter, swatching it on my hand, wondering if this will suit me, if it wasnt too yellowish for my skin tone... Finally, I bought it. And I dont regret it!! This is the perfect highlight and it just compliment my completion and light up my eyes. You can mix it with an infinity of colors to create various effects. This is a very cool color, will buy again for sure!
