This is a lovely cologne, heavy on the vanilla. I find it pretty light so I'm suprised some people found it sweet and heavy. I find aquatic men's colognes heavy and obnoxious. This reminds me of Le Male as they share many of the same notes. However, Pi is lighter and much less complex then Le Male. I find this to be comforting, snuggly scent. Probably geared more towards fall and winter wear.
This is one of my all time fragrances...It reminds me of one of my ex SO's. I've bought it over & over again for SO's & friends. I recently found a .5 oz bottle on sale for $7.99 (should have bought more!)! DH thought it was for him but I had to get it for myself, this is such a unique lovely scent that I think anyone could wear. continued >>
I would buy over and over again. I could just lick this off the hubbie, he smells sooo yummy in this! This is a scent that I think would work well in winter for most men.....but they can wear all year round as far as I am concerned-delicious!
My boyfriend came over last night and I couldn't keep my hands off of him. He smelled just too damn sexy. I asked him what he was wearing and it was Pi. I love this stuff!
I am a woman and I LOVE this fragrance! It makes a man smell irresistable! You just can't get close enough to a guy who wears this! It's both lightly sweet and sexy with a bit a kick to it, it's pleasing. Sometimes I wear it when I want to feel fearless.

Dead sexy. I actually wanted this for myself because I couldn't resist not smelling it. I have no idea why it smells so good. Both the mint-green colored and the yellow ones smell good. it smells a little minty, maybe with some vanilla, but overall sweet and nice. i should get a sample for my bf cuz if he wore it, my nose would be glued.
When
I was first starting into the world of fragrance, I thought Pi was
pure vanilla, utterly feminine and not one bit my style. I used to
hate the stuff. But now after a few more years of olfactory
development and evolved tastes, it has really grown on me. I own
both the Eau de Toilette and Eau de Parfum strength of Pi, both of
which are very nice yet different from each other. Pi EDT smells
like a toasted vanilla pastry with a lightening, smooth orange accord
and a subtle almond-like accord that just smells great. The strong
vanilla note is very smooth and sexy; and remember, vanilla is an
aphrodisiac. The warm Guaiac wood accord emerges as it dries down,
adding a little more depth and body to the sweetness. The EDP is
definitely richer in its concentrated sweetness. Here the orange
note smells more candy-like when blended with the sweeter, more
benzoin focused, somewhat dark balsamic and ambery base notes of Pi
EDP. The EDP is not as smooth as the EDT, with top notes that smell
like candy rather than pastry. The wood note is a little more dense,
dark and pure in the EDP, adding perfectly to its exotic feel. The EDP becomes very dark, balsamic and woody after it dries down for about an hour, but retains some of its sweetness. I
prefer the EDP myself as it has a more exotic, sexy and mysterious
feel to it than the pastry feel of the EDT. The EDT is very much a unisex fragrance, but the EDP is too dark and woody for women IMO. I give
the EDT a 4 and the EDP a 5.

Yuck. Pi is sickeningly sweet, feminine, and waaay too strong. Very similar to Obsession, which I find about as pleasant as eau de skunk. I prefer a clean, subtle, fresh, manly smell. This one seems like it's trying too hard, like most Givenchy fragrances.
I LOVE this scent! It is so different from the typical Coast deodorant soap scents for men that are out there. very warm. Not 'fresh'. i don't like 'fresh'. yes it is sweet but in a very good way
Pi is a unique men's fragrance that uses non-floral notes common in women's fragrances and puts a distinctly masculine twist on them. This results in a warm, spicy fragrance with vanilla undertones. Much less overbearing than other men's perfumes on the market. It smells damn sexy on my boyfriend, as well, but I can't imagine a bearlike, macho man wearing it. Perfumeworld.net describes its fragrance family as "oriental woody ambery" and ambery, powdery, and vanillic.
Apparently, the majority of men right now still aren't confident enough to wear a fragrance that doesn't make them smell like either a Zima or an ox, so you can occasionally find Pi right now in discount stores for amazing prices. continued >>
