I have pretty sensitive skin, but have always been able to keep it clear and beautiful. Now that I'm pregnant, I'm getting a lot more tiny bumps and blemishes than I ever thought possible. So, I've had to start wearing foundation when in public to keep from feeling disgusting.

I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and dry cheeks/around parts of my nose. I was applying E.L.F's tinted moisturizer with a light dusting of Physician's formula powder, but it seemed to really dry me out.

Then I went back to my Urban Decay, which when I had my regular pre-pregnancy skin kept it pretty balanced. Now, it makes my face so dry that it was literally peeling around my nose, between my eyes and at my hair line.

In search of a new, cheap, non-drying foundation, I picked this up at Target about an hour ago. I've always loved E.L.F's products, so I figured what the heck. I applied this over my Covergirl smoothers tinted moisturizer with the E.L.F foundation brush. It looked Awesome! Then I did a light dusting of my usual Physician's Formula powder over top to set it and make it a little more matte. Let me just say, it looks gorgeous!

It covers well, doesn't cake, and doesn't accentuate dry patches. Now, this has only been on my face for about 20 minutes, so this review could change, but right now I love it.

The smell isn't overwhelming even to my sensitive pregnancy nose and is gone 2 minutes after application.

The bottle it comes in has a pump which I love love love! Keeps from wasting product and is much more hygienic.

Will update as the day goes by!

EDIT: I could not get this foundation to stay set. It started to melt off my oily spots like in my nose creases and on my chin. I wish it would have worked out because it is pretty when applied, but I won't be repurchasing this foundation. Maybe it would work out for those with super dry skin, but I can't justify wasting time putting it on my own face.

I like this foundation but only mixed with a more liquidy foundation, if not the coverage is a little bit too heavy for my skin.It does not break me out and it has SPF in it which I both like.I also love the packaging, the frosted matte glass bottle is gorgeous. But if your looking for a good full coverage foundation this one is for you. Dont get me wrong I like it but I dont go for it as much as other foundations I have.

I have recently switched to using cosmetics that aren't tested on animals and finding a foundation that's light enough and gives decent coverage has been a struggle. Unfortunately I didn't like this product at all. The palest colour (Porcelain) was too yellow for my skin tone and it left a slightly sticky feeling. Powder really clung to the foundation which made my face look cakey - I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has oily skin. I love quite a few of the E.L.F. products, but this wasn't for me.

This foundation broke up on my skin by noontime leaving me looking like a blotchy mess. I liked the bottle until my pump broke and I had to pour it out onto my fingers. I wanted to like it but I can't .

HG for sure! My skin is super sensitive and everything breaks me out, except for this. It leaves your skin looking flawless with a dewy glow. It's not a light foundation, but if you want that then get a tinted moisturizer!

Bought this foundation last night and i'm currently wearing it this morning.. I have to start off by saying that I absolutely love E.L.F's products for everday use and their prices are unbeatable.. When I saw this little bottle at my nearest Target, I figured what the heck, i'll give it a try. My skin is combination oily/dry, especially in my T-zone area and at times i'll have a breakout on my face if the makeup that i'm wearing is not oil free. This foundation is dewy which I like and the pump is amazing, but the actual product only deserves a "3" imo. It feels too thick and cakey on my skin at the moment, the smell is driving me absolutely crazy right now. I do not mind smells in foundation, however, this one takes over.. I have been wearing this foundation for exactly 2 hours and my face is completely oily!!! I will Never ever repurchase this foundation, sorry Elf, you got this one wrong..Oil free? I don't think so, the shine is ridiculous after 2 hours and is so thick, its unbearable. I was simply looking for a lightweight foundation that I could wear everyday underneath my mineral powder. I only like using my Mac studio fix on the weekends, because it tends to clog my pores.. Ugh can't wait to get home and wash this crap off.. :(

I really like this foundation. It's not cakey or heavy. I like the lightweight feel and look. I used to apply it with my fingers after applying the elf hd powder as a primer then elf complete concealer set or the black opal flawless perfecting concealer. I use elf essentials foundation brush. I used to set it with elf translucent matifying powder and/or black opal loose powder. Now I set it with black opal's oil blocking loose powder. This foundation goes well with black opal products. It's a bit shiny as are many foundations.

I bought this right after buying the new NYC All Day Long 14hr smooth skin foundation. They're pretty similar over all but NYC beats this hands down. I got this foundation at Target and they have a lot of other new stuff now. For $6 you get .8oz (again E.L.F this isn't a full ounce- drugstore brands can do it, why can't you?). So price isn't the best for what you get. I do have to say though that I love the pump bottle. This is one product that it works nicely with and I love. The actual formula isn't half bad either. Women with normal to combination skin could love this. I'm not sure about dry as it might be a bit too cakey. It does not control oil as my cheeks, nose & forehead started to shine. It just ends up looking dewy more than the dewy-matte I like. It lasted most of the day besides my oily parts peeking through. It has medium coverage and covered a lot. By the end of the day this stays on everywhere else except my oily areas (completely bare; this had melted off). I have to say that in the future I'll probably not wear this to work but on my days off (just to finish it up). I didn't like how my face felt itchy the other day with this. I have no idea where that came from (wore it twice now). It's not my favorite but I could see others loving this which is why I left my over all rating a 3. continued >>

Love it. Very surprising since its soooo cheap! I love the scent too. Medium to full coverage, packaging is super pretty, colors are great (not too white, pinkish or yellowish). I like it a lot.

The product is average. VERY perfumy! But that isn't much of an issue to me. It's not unpleasant but it does linger and that can be a bit cloying after a while. I got it in Almond which was a good match for my skin. I'd certainly use this for everyday as it's on the lower price end. It covers well, it's a thick product so on well moisturized skin a little will go a long way. For me the coverage was medium to full. I have fairly good blemish free skin so minor imperfections are super easy for me to cover up. It has a really dewy finish. I wore it to the club and it held up reasonably well. I'd say about 5 hours max but with blotting in between. I like the pump and packaging. Very classy! I do have the leaks others have referred to but the pump on mine works well. I would repurchase but after I get through the mountains of foundation I already own! (Small edit to this...Still feel the same about this product but I think next time round I'll try it in Caramel as I've had to mix the Almond with a lighter shade foundation I own. It doesnt oxidize like some high end rubish foundations I own so that's a plus and why I'm increasing my rating from 3 lippies to 4. I'll repurchase this for sure.)
