I have been using this foundation for nearly 2 years now. I basically found it through trial and error. What first attracted me was the consistency of the product - it feels sooo nice on your skin! However, it would not be good for people with oily skin as it does seem a little on the oily side. I am going to be sticking with this foundation for the forseeable. It lasts alll day and all night (well it does for me) and it gives a nice coverage. The only downside is if you set it with too much powder it takes away the nice sheen it gives you.. but other than that it is definitely worth the price! A great foundation for beginners AND pros - as long as you blend blend blend because you really do not need as much as you might think (half a pump from the bottle can easily do the trick for a nice finish, full pump for full-on coverage)!
Cheap and cheerful. Good for everyday use. 80% of my bottle (in Sand ) is gone and I'm still not too sure if this matches my color. I'm Mac NC20-25ish. I found this best applied by hand, quick and easy. Packaging is superb, no mass there. A bottle has lasted me 4-5 months for Monday- Friday use. I have another bottle in Nude, think that's a bit dark for me, maybe will start using this in the summer time. No SPF is a - for me.

This foundation made me break out like mad! Definitely don’t think it is for oily/combination skin.. I think my skin has its own mind and pretty much will not allow me to try cheap crap!
Wow!
I recently decided that I wanted to be a drugstore foundation convert just to save some money. I know so many people who are perfectly fine with a drugstore foundation, so I thought, I can be one of those people too.
I found the dream satin liquid foundation here on makeupalley, as I always look for paraben free foundation.
Price: £8.18
This price is a fraction of what I normally paid for high end products! A bargain comparing to a £30 I normally spend.
Consistency:
Thick but whipped. This foundation does not feel heavy on the skin at all. The whipped formula makes it light on the skin. THIS FOUNDATION IS NOT FOR OILY SKIN. My skin is very dry and it works amazingly for me. NO FLAKES!
Coverage:
Medium/Full. I honestly think this foundation can be full coverage if you have skin like mine. I have strong rosacea, and a few freckles. They cover perfectly. If you have spots I am pretty sure this foundation will cover you.
Finish:
This foundation does not look shiny in any way, BUT it feels very wet and moisturizing. I am personally okay with this, but if you are oily you may need to set some areas of your face with powder.
Colour:
I am an NC20 in mac and an in between shade with this foundation. I bought the shade 'Nude' and it is quite a bit darker than my skin. It blends okay if you take it onto the neck but it is significantly orange. I will probably purchase 'ivory' next time to mix it in with 'nude'
At the moment I am MIXING 2 SHADES together to create the right colour: 'Nude' In Maybelline dream satin liquid with Bobbi Brown skin foundation.
I will go for Ivory next time but at the moment this is what I am doing (Hence why I give it a 4)
I will re-purchase this foundation purely because the consistency is AMAZING for DRY skin!

This was one of the first foundations I ever used , I loved it but for some reason, I switched foundations after a while, I bought this yesterday and I am quite impressed with it , I bought it in the shade "cameo" which is slightly too dark for me, so I'll buy it again but in a lighter shade.
It gives quite good coverage, I have freckles but I noticed it covered most of them, although some of them it didn't. I'm gonna use this for school.
This foundation seemed like just what I'd been looking for, as all my other foundations sank into my skin and exaggerated my pores. This gives such amazing coverage I almost looked airbrushed.
But once again my pale skin let me down when realised my face was a different colour to my neck. I tried to convince myself I wasn't THAT orange because of the brilliant coverage :P
Oh well, if you're not overly pale this will be the one for you. For me, the search for the perfect foundation continues O_o
I tried this ages ago and liked it. It had a quite liquidy consistency was wasn't a problem for me as it lasted ages. I felt I could put more than one layer on and it wouldn't go funny, only once I could remember it going funny when I put another too thick of a layer hours after I put the first one. It would give a good coverage with application with a finger but even better with a sponge. At first I didn't use powder on top of it but when I did it stayed and looked much better. The colour was good to match my face. The only thing is I would get breakouts but I think they were because I wasn't washing it off properly. I've tried other foundations after it and it is one of the best I've tried. Would recommend but not for people with oily skin.
I think this is lovely foundation, it goes on so easily and does not become blotchy. My skin is a little oily and I would not use this without a powder on top, and when I do this it lasts all day and continues to look good. I do also use a primer underneath which helps.
Edit: After using this foundation for all day situations I realise it's not great to last on oily skin and my skin does get oily with it (okay once I use powder though). I still like this foundation but it would suit normal-dry skin more.
:)
I bought this a few weeks ago as I had run out of my usual foundation (MAC select SPF15) and needed a cheap one as I didn't have time to make to 20 minute journey to my MAC counter. This one caught my eye as it was one of the only foundations which actually had my skin colour and was relatively cheap aswell (I £6.17 i think in superdrugs)
Overall, it is a good foundation and there is no over powering scent, it lasts for about 8 hours which is fine by me and provides a medium coverage. Also it comes with a pump which is hygienic and good for travelling. My main problem with this is that it does not blend 'to give the airbrushed look' as promised and can end up looking streaky if I do nt blend it in properly
Other than that it's a good foundation but I doubt I will repurchase it.

Well... it's OK I guess. It worked fantastically in my younger years when I had no pimples, however as soomas you get them it doesn't cover them up well and looks cakey. It also has quite pink undertones, which is really annoying as I have yellow undertones. It doesn't really get oily, it stays in place well, its just the look that is dissapointing. I probably would reccomend to someone who soesn't have problem skin and most likely would not reccomend unless my spots vanish over night :D
