i bought this mascara after seeing a few reviews on it and i have to say i was so disappointed .. this is by far the worst mascara iv ever had, its clumpy and thick and it just leaves my eyelashes looking like a mess .. i really did like the applicator but the formulation of the mascara is so bad!! its horrible
i will not buy this again and i don't recommend it to anyone!!

I tried this mascara a little while ago and had pretty high expectaitions from the reviews and well it is channel. Well it was a fail. I tried it in the store and was extremely dissapointed even had the lady put it on me still looked boring to me. Wouldnt recommend this not worth it.

I love this product, I think that at the moment it is my HG mascara!
I originally found it when given a sample size that i didnt use for ages, however when i did I was pleasantly surprised and decided to buy the full size!

Im not a fan of black mascara as I am so fair so opted for the brown and it is a very deep chocolate brown. It comes in sleek, slim chanel packaging, sadly without the velvet pouch, which at £22 it would have been nice!

I love the finish this mascara gives, it lengthens, curls and separates beautifully. If you like volume it doesnt give dramatic effecs however this finish is natural and classy!

I only gave this 4 lippies as it does tend to dry out quickly and that is a shame as for the price it would be nice if lasted a little longer...that said it won't put me off buying it!

This is my second Chanel Mascara and I really love it. My lashes look longer, thicker and aren't spidery. I think it is worth the money.

I've finally found my HG mascara. This is the best mascara I've ever used. It applies evenly, the applicator is sleek & tapered so you can apply to all the lashes, espicially the lashes nearest the tear duct. No clumping during application. It doesn't smudge all day and looks as good after a long day as when first applied. Easy to remove with any makeup remover (I'm using Neutrogena make up remover wipes). I love it better than Lancome and even Dior . A little costly but absolutely worth it. I won't use anything else from now on. continued >>

This is without doubt the most amazing mascara that I have ever used. I've tried so many other brands, lancome, dior, benefit, armani, l'oreal, estee lauder, you name it I've tried it. With inimitable intense my eyelashes look incredibly long and separated everyone always asks if I'm wearing false lashes, it makes my eyes look wide awake and huge 1 coat is enough. It keeps well and lasts for ages, It never flakes or clumps unless you rub your eyes. It comes of very easily at the end of the day too. I bought my first tube & was so impressed that I bought a second tube in Spain where it was a bit cheaper. The second tube clumped the first time I used it, they gave me a replacement though which worked perfectly, it was very hot when I was there, so make sure that you store it in a cool place otherwise it will curdle. I was so happy to find this mascara. They gave me a sample to try at the counter, and I used it for a month. I thought I'd found my HG - finally. When I finished the sample, I went right in and bought a full size tube. I used it happily for a month or so, then it was too dry to use any longer. I don't mind paying $30 for a mascara that's going to last several months if it doesn't slide off onto my cheeks during the day, but one month of use is not acceptable. I told the SA at my favorite Chanel counter, and she said the company is aware of the issue and is working to fix it. I'll believe it when I see it. I've moved on to a really nice and somewhat less expensive Estee Lauder mascara.

This mascara looks perfect upon applying, but eventually I noticed tons of flakes across my face. I usually wear foundation, so they stick pretty badly and are difficult to wipe away. Unfortunately, I just don't like using it because of this issue.

I liked the way it applied. It separated nicely and lengthened beautifully... However... I have never had so many issues with flakes. Flaking all over my cheeks and under my eyes. Ridiculous. I don't get it. I won't be re-purchasing.

Well, this is a very very jet black mascara, no doubt about it.
And it lasts. And it holds a curl. And lenghtens. And the brush is awesome!
However, you must be very fast upon application, if not you get clumps! in addition, as others have noted, ONE coat only will suffice; it's so pigmented one coat is all you need, otherwise... it's spider eyes city and you will regret it.
Good mascara, just follow my advice!!!
