I'm pretty picky about my mascaras, but this one is really amazing. The tube opens up in two spots, one for a lighter mascara (good for the daytime, school/work if you want a conservative look) and one for a nice dramatic look. Lasts all day, washes off when I want it to, pretty packaging... not looking for much more than that. I'd buy it again as long as I had the cash, sometimes I'm not financially able to go to the MAC counter and buy everything I want, but I was glad I had a little extra money saved up and got to try this mascara now that I know how much I love it. What else can you ask for as far as mascara goes?

This mascara works really well ...for about a couple of months. If you can finish mascara in the first month this product will do wonders for you, but if your an occasional mascara user, look at something else. It dries up and gets clumpy pretty fast. It really does do a good job in volumizing lashes. The two wands are pretty good at creating a day and night look. I would repurchase if I knew I could finish up the tube quickly.

This mascara was really bad when I used the big brush. It was all lumpy and quite bad in general. The smaller brush was ok for light morning make-up I guess but that was about it. I wouldn't buy this mascara again.

Why hello there, nice to meet you. You are so much cheaper than my Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara, or my YSL Faux Cils, so my expectations for you are low. This is what I was thinking when the makeup artist working at the MAC countertold me to purchase this mascara. Okay.This.Mascara.Is.Amazing. I say amazing because my lashes have never looked better than with my other high end mascaras at the fraction of the price. I have NEVER liked MAC mascara's, I find most of them really bad quality, clumpy and just ... no. But this mascara is so different, and SO underrated. Try it, your wallet will thank you!

Ive added this to my list of favorite mascaras. My advice...use an eyelash curler with this product...it makes it a 5 star product. Without an eyelash curler, its does not work as good, gets clumpy, etc.

this mascara is nice but i have to spend so much time putting it on. if I want to get really dramatic look with full lashes , i start with the thin brush and apply 2-3 coats to comb and gently seperate the lashes and then use the thick brush 2-3 times over it to add volume and some length to my lashes. at the end result is good but i only use this mascara when i have time. i was forced to buy it by a mac staff but wont be buying it willingly again :)

The reason this is not a 5 as the top part of the mascara the "day" effect is AWFUL! it is so flimsy and weak and does not allow a nice application of the mascara. However the second part the purple part is great. I would not use this mascara on its own but use it over my Max factor mascara (which is amazing) as the mascara is quite liquidy and takes a while to set too. The brush is okay, not amazing so I use another brush to seperate my eyelashes after. All in all I do not think MAC mascara is not great - this is not as bad as I thought it would be but not the best.

This is my favorite high end mascara! It does take a little practice to get used to using it. The big thing you MUST do is scrap off some of the product before you use it uf you don't want it to clump. If you do this you will have absolutely beautiful eye lashes!

I don't get the rave reviews. This stuff runs. On a cold London morning I always get watery eyes. The first time I put this on I thought WOW. Jet black, long thick lashes. Fabulous. An hour later I looked like one of the new arrivals at Edinburgh Zoo. Panda eyes. Real shame. Back to my Boots waterproof lengthening mascara. Budge-proof

This is probably one of the best mascaras I have tried. It does not rub off
during the day even after extended wear. It comes off easily with water and mild soap. It applies wonderfully and the neat design can allow you to put it on thick or thin for volume or length or both! It doesn't clump. (REMEMBER! Mascara should be changed regularly right ladies? Don't use the same tube for two months! Not only is it good hygiene but old mascara WILL clump!) It holds up well with an eyelash curler! I LOVE this mascara. It is the best value for your money.
