After my bad experience months ago with Crest stain shield and Discount Health Products()I'll give Crest the benefit of the doubt and try these. Can anyone recomend where I can buy them( 3D Professional Effects White Strips)online from a non-dogdy retailer please as we can't buy in the uk.Thks
I'm a non-smoker,but an avid coffee drinker & red wine occasionally...And all I have to say is BLING! Tons of compliments on how white my teeth are. My dentist even noticed. Will be purchasing every six months as per the instructions.
Okay, so I bought these about a week ago and so far ive only used them 6 times and I already see my smile is much whiter. However, i have had no past experiences with tooth sensitivity and the third day i used them I did have a sharp pain in my tooth. It does a great job of whitening my teeth but it is a little painful!
This is my first day using them (I actually have them on right now, it's been on for about 10 minutes now.)
I just felt a sharp, cold, but short pain in my lower teeth, but it disappeared in less than a second.
I feel some cold tingles here and there, but overall the pain is bearable.
I'm pretty scared though because what if it gets worse?
Overall I wouldn't be purchasing this again because they are super expensive. I plan on downgrading to the cheapest one on this product just so my teeth stay white.
Ugg! I wanted these to work but my non sensitive teeth are killing me on the second day! They came off great but after 3 hour my teeth got very painful I could not sleep well and the still are after 12 hour.
I will not I am fallowing the instruction and after the second day my teeth are slightly less yellow.
I found this product to really work in the whitening department, and the strips are much easier to use than they were back when these strips first came out. They do hurt a lot at first, but the sensitivity definitely decreases over time. I'm giving this product a 5 because I got whitening results that I'm really happy with without having to go to a professional. So even those these are expensive, I figure it's far less than I'd have to pay otherwise.
A few years ago I bought Crest White Strips premium for my mom, and she left them laying around the house for a while, I completely forgot we had them till I found them in a closet. Anyway, my teeth were always pretty white, but I figured I can make them whiter. So I tried using them.. the instructions were 2x a day 30 minutes each time. So I did so for about 3 days and saw very little results, the strips were annoying and moved all over the place, and then one day I looked at the package and found they were expired. So I decided I wanted to try the Advanced Seal Professional strips just for fun, they were MUCH better than the Premium (maybe b/c they weren't expired, or maybe because they ACTUALLY stayed in place, and I only had to use them once a day)... so I was pretty excited about these, I used them for 2 days and on the third I felt this SHARP, intense pain on my lower tooth. The pain persisted the entire day & my teeth became sensitive. But I could definitely see the results!! the next day I went to see my dentist, he told me not to use them for a week, but I tried them after 24 hours anyway ... and OMG was that a mistake, after 10 minutes of them on I felt that sharp pain times 10! and I pulled off the strips and sat down to write this review. My teeth were never sensitive, now they kind of are but I hope it goes away. I think I'll try the strips again in a few days, even tho I dont need them. I dont wanna waste the 50 bucks I spent.
I really liked these things. They stayed on my teeth great, didn't slide around or make my mouth fill up with saliva like other whitening treatments do. And I saw a subtle brightening effect after one use! HOWEVER...these are NOT good for sensitive teeth! My teeth aren't usually sensitive to anything, but a few hours after I put these on, my teeth were in so much pain it was almost blinding! If my teeth didn't react so badly to this product, I'd definitely be buying this again =(
I have used these for a week now so I'm going to review them.
My teeth before: they were healthy and straight., but, I don't know how to explain it really but they looked "dingy" and not bright, and didn't stand out in my smile.
I looked up reviews on MUA of course (thank you ladies!) and decided to try these. I paid $60 for them on sale. I was expecting the worst of pain based on the reviews, but because everyone said they worked I was ready to start.
Results: I didn't experience ANY sensitivity at all. i'm not sure why, I guess it depends on each individual user. After 7 days, my teeth are whiter and brighter, and I've recieved many compliments on them. They still look natural though. Sometimes certain professional treatments leave teeth with a blue undertone which I think looks too unnatural. These white strips whiten teeth to the point where they look bright and beautiful but still like they're real teeth.
The only con I can think of is the price and the gel which tastes bad.
I would definitely recommend to anyone!
At first, I thought I'd just wait a week or so to write a review on these ridiculously expensive things. But, I think I'll just come back and edit it a couple times if anything drastic changes. The first time I used these was about an hour and a half after I'd brushed my teeth (with the Crest 3D white toothpaste). They were pretty easy to line up to your teeth and apply. Top strip fits well, but I think the bottom strip is too wide for my teeth, but plenty long so it still works well. They say to leave on for 30 minutes. Okay, sounded fine. Well, right before they were due to be taken off, I had an insane sharp pain shoot straight down through my bottom teeth and felt it all the way into the bottom of my jaw. The pain was so intense I thought I'd be sick. While it subsided fairly quickly, I still rushed in my bathroom and peeled the strips off. It felt like I was removing a band-aid, but hurt none whatsoever. I waited a full 24 hours before I tried to use these again. I guess the only thing that made me come back to these is that they were $50 and I refused to use them only once. So night #2, I found some bravery and tried again. No pain at all. Great, I was hoping there would be progress. But about 20 minutes AFTER I'd taken them off, I got that same intense pain shooting down through my lower teeth again. What the heck? Got my hopes up there. It's nice there are coupons inside the box, like $7 off another box of these things. I have no sensitivity air hitting my teeth when I breathe in, I can eat and drink just fine, and I haven't had pain that's kept me awake at night. But, like I said, if anything changes, I'll be back on here to update. I like the progress I've seen by using these and the toothpaste. The sharp pain I randomly got once each time I've used them is aggravating though.
