this brush feel amazing soft (: try it then you'll love it!
Love this brush; it can be used with foundation, blush, etc.
Edit: So, it turns out my F80 seems to be performing better... liquid foundation-wise. Still, a very decent brush.
I picked this brush up after seeing the pictures on the MUFE F&B review page. This brush is great for liquid foundation but I don't like it too much for mineral foundation. There's very minimal shedding but it's more difficult to clean the other brushes I own. Compared to Sigma's F80 brush, this is way better. The small brush head is great for corners of the nose, under eyes, etc. Would definitely purchase again if necessary!
HG. Love this brush blends liquid foundation well dense enough and small enough to blend under eyes and around nose. I also use it for powder foundation. It just grabs the powder effortlessly. For 26 dollars can't beat this mult purpose brush. Another thing you don't have to worry about is it shedding. Haven't tried it with cream because I use the sephora I.T natural foundation brush for that. Those two HG brushes you can do your foundation without having to worry about picking leftover hairs from shedding brushes off you face. Overall highly recommend.
This is my favorite liquid/powder foundation, blush, and bronzing brush ever! First of all this is multi-purpose and it blends my foundation and blush and bronzer perfectly. I wasted so much money on buying brushes and this is the one i been reaching for daily. I cant express how much i love this brush. It is easy to clean and very soft also. It's dense but not too dense as it could blend like a dream. Works a million times better than my MAC brushes and best of all it does not shed.
This is how i use this brush. I apply my day cream and then my liquid foundation (MUFE FNB in 20) by stippling it on. Then after i let it my foundation set and dry for about 5 minutes; I use my powder (Emani in Linen) and use the same 45 brush to dust on the powder and then I apply my blush and bronzer.
My foundation looks great and natural. Everything looks blended on my face thanks to this brush. This is sold at Sephora for $26. This is HG material!!!
HG. Impossibly soft and deposits pretty much anything beautifully.
I have literally never spent more than $10 on a make-up brush in my life. I could never justify it. I impulse bought this along with the angled blush brush and holy batman, I am in love! The size is perfect! The bristles clean and dry with ease. The size of the handle is perfect. If you want to invest in a good, all purpose brush, this is the one. It's a little pricey, but I've found it replaces several of my (cheaper) brushes.
This brush is AMAZING. I use it apply creme foundation and it is the perfect combination of soft and dense. Hasn't shed, dries quickly, keeps its shape. I really have nothing negative to say about this brush, so I'll stop here. If I have to repurchase, I will !
AMAZING. I'm a weirdo and actually use this for liquid foundation. I just get a little product, stipple it on, and then buff, buff, buff! Makes my skin look perfect... and it's definitely not at the moment - the winter is making red blotches appear around my nose. :\ This brush, combined with NARS Sheer Glow foundation, works like a charm.
I have a locally made mineral make up called Affera which is similar in ingredients to Lucy Minerals. I stopped using it for awhile and was using a few other types of make up such as the Shiseido The Make Up stick(it works well but doesn't last) and a combination of others because I felt the mmu was a bit cakey. Anyway! This week I decided to go back to my mmu because I have been using Estee Lauder Nigh Complex and my skin looks pretty good. With this brush my skin looks almost flawless (which it is not!) You don't end up with too much and it blends perfectly. If you love your mmu, but can't seem to find the right brush, then look no further. This is the best! I have even stopped using primer as I am using another new serum called Rexaline which was my free gift from Sephora from the skin care challenge! This brush is so soft and is a treat to use. I look forward to using it in the morning.
A while back, I bought Laura Mercier's mineral powder foundation and love it but was wondering what was the best brush for applying it (the LM mineral one looked sort of silly and not very effective). I looked around on youtube and saw that quite a few who use this mineral powder foundation use the Sephora #45 brush. So I checked the reviews here and that certainly confirmed this brush's effectiveness, so I put it on my Christmas wish list and I received it. I've only been using it for 2 days but I absolutely love it. It picks up and holds the loose powder perfectly, rather than making it fly all over the place, and it distributes it and blends/buffs it into the skin perfectly to give a wonderful, "flawless skin" finish. The combination of the LM mineral powder foundation (the loose one) and this brush gives exactly the sort of look that I (and most women, I would guess) am looking for. It is also very soft - the "bristles" themselves are soft but the brush-head is very densely packed. I'm going to try this next with my Too Faced powder foundation (which others rave about and which I've been struggling with - another MUAer suggested a velour puff and that has helped somewhat but I still don't get the flawless look others seem to achieve effortlessly, going by reviews here on MUA) and also with my MAC finishing powder - I love the product but my powder brush - not a hugely pricey one but not the cheapest, either - seems to let it fly all over the place.
If you wear mineral makeup, this brush is indispensable, IMO, and I think it will have uses beyond "just" mineral powder foundation.
My only "complaint" - as with so many other brushes, I do wish it came with some sort of "reusable" package - a heavy "zip lock" type thing, so you could toss it easily into your makeup bag and it would stay clean. How much could this possibly add to the cost? a dollar, maybe?
Update: this is even better than I thought at first. I've been using it for my MAC MSF Natural. That is a product that never seemed to do ANYTHING for me....I might as well not have been wearing it and I always wondered why so many users raved about it as a great alternative if you wanted a natural, light makeup look. Well, with this brush - I am getting results!!!! Ditto for Too Faced's Amazing Face Foundation and Smashbox's Halo Powder. I am now using all 3 of these products and, because of the Sephora brush, I will be able to use them up, which will be gratifying.
