For reference Im fair, NW10-20 (depending on time of year), highly acne prone, combo skin. I use it morning and night, coupled with ONLY cleaning my skin with coconut oil these days. My skin is actually clearing up! I have been using this for a week now. I have red acne marks/blotches on cheeks and chins, left for months and months and some discoloration. I never realized how discolored my chin and mouth area were until I started using this. The blotches and red marks on my cheeks are slowly fading and you can see the darkness on my chin lightening as well.

I bought this with the idea of using it just for a month due to the active ingredients in it. I am very fair and no matter what I do/don't do, every single pimple leaves a long-lasting dark mark on my skin. I have two marks on my left cheek and a couple on my right cheekbone that I hoped this product would remove. I could not find it in any Walgreens, CVS, or any other drug store, so I resorted to purchasing it off of the Ambi website - the shipping was free, the product came out to $5.49, and I received it within 5 days. I used it as directed for about 5 days, but I immediately noticed bumps forming around the areas where I applied the cream. I thought nothing of it at first, but as this product was the only change in my regimen, it was clearly the culprit. I have decided to only use it on ONE mark for the remainder of the time (month) in order to see if it will be able to fade it, even slightly. There was a faint scent, but nothing at all unbearable as described by other reviewers - it actually smells faintly of shampoo, a light cosmetic scent that is not irritating and fades almost immediately upon application. You need to apply a really thin layer; otherwise, the product will ball up and won't sink into your skin. I will update in a month - If this fades one of my marks, I will consider using it for other acne scars. For right now, I said no to repurchasing because this tube will last a very long time, but I may change my response if it turns out to work. Let's hope it does!

I have been using this off and on for about a year. I got it from Dollar General for about $6. I had horrible acne as a teenager (i'm 39) but noticed bad sun damage about a year ago on my cheeks and forehead. I have been doing TCA peels but they didn't help much with the darkness. This does lighten but seems to take awhile. One thing I did notice was the smell. To me it smelled like onions. Maybe I got a bad batch but has a definite smell. Didn't break me out though.

All I can say is "WOW". I never thought I would find that one product to really make a difference on my acne scarring--and I didn't expect it to be so affordable. After consistently using the Ambi Fade cream for oily skin, I definitely can tell a big difference in my old acne spots. Some hyperpigmentation has completely cleared up. I feel completely confident not wearing foundation now, and my skin is so beautifully even and toned. I'm so glad I found this product. Definitely give it a try! It costs next to nothing, and really does do wonders if used frequently. I will continue to use and purchase forever and ever.

I found it a little bit difficult to find in stores, so I just ordered it off the Ambi website, in case anyone wants to give it a go. I highly recommend.

I was really impressed by this cream, it did a great and fast job lightening my acne marks. I saw a vast improvement after only a couple of days. I also think it's great that there's different formulas for oily, normal and dry skin. I use the oily formula and it doesn't really clog my pores or make my face greasier, which is a definite plus. Try this and I'm sure you won't regret it.

This is a great product if you're prone to hyperpigmentation, which I am. It certainly helped me clear some of it up. Before, I wasn't comfortable going anywhere unless I had thick and heavy foundation caked all over. Now, I can confidently leave the house with a light foundation and some concealer under my eyes.

The whitening ingredient in this product is hydroquinone (2%) which could be a concern for some people. You should be fine if you wear a sunscreen, but it's completely understandable to be cautious.

I had great results within a month, and continue to use the product at least once a day. It's the perfect amount of moisture for the summer, but in winter I like to layer it under my Cetaphil moisturizing cream to be sure that my skin doesn't dry out, though I have very oily skin.

One thing I will say is that when I originally tried out this product, I was overwhelmed by a STRONG scent. It smelled like onions =S It may have just been that the first time I purchased it, something had been wrong, because nowadays I don't notice any scent from the product.

It worked in 1 week! I used 1 bottle of clarins bright plus hp and 2 bottles of meladerm. Do chemical peels combined with 4% hydroquinone prescribed by my doctor. All has helped in extreme slowness until I bought AMBI fade cream. I found a $3 coupon and I paid $1.50 for it at target. I made a mistake by only putting (piling on) on my dark spot. I did that based on a review I read here. The alpha hydroxy burnt the hell out of me, woke up with painful red spots on my face. It gave me a real bad impression of this cream! I was upset and did not use AMBI for 1 week. Relentless, once the pain and some redness has subsided, I used the fade cream last Sunday night like a face cream, spreading it evenly all over my face after cleansing. Then my moisturiser, and cortaid for the pain/redness and then neosporin. On Monday morning my entire face looked good. Same goes for Monday and Tuseday. No burnt and no break outs. The dark spot and the redness (redness caused by spot piling of thiis cream just the week before) is looking promising and I knew I could work with it. On Wednesday through Sunday night, for 5 nights, I spread this cream all over my face, then my moisturiser, cortaid then neosporin. With the oiliness of neoporin I vigorously massaage the dark spots / red spots. By Saturday the redness is completely gone and by this morning even the dark spots which I have been battling for 5 years are almost gone!

I LOVE this product. Honestly. I bought it around 2 years ago because i saw a girl on youtube rave about it. What can i say? It made my skin look smoother (even), Im the type of girl who REFUSES to use moisturizer regardless of all the threaths people throw out at me, i just dont like the fact that moisturizer acts as my makeups worst enemy and my skin really doesnt need it, yet this product i dont have a problem with, it sets in quickly and leaves a moisturized feeling to my skin, the smell while applying it is kinda weird but once its in you cant smell it any more. Oh and did i mention i stopped using this years ago because after a month of using it , actually just a couple of weeks i got the results i wanted :) , i guess its luck of the draw huh? but i suggest everyone goes out and tries it! i have no idea what the girl below me ment because this magical cream isint any more than 8$

USELESS. Absolutely useless. I purchased this after getting suggestions on what product to use to help fade my dark spots on my face. I was told this was somewhat of a miracle worker. Well, I used it for about three months, just like it suggested and didn't see any results. The black spots remained, and still do. All this did, was leave a slightly greasy feeling on my face. I was very dissapointed that this cream was a fail for me and also a waste of money being that it seems a bit pricey to me. I even went back to it months later and tried to give it another chance to no avail, alas it went into the trash where it belonged.

I've been using this product for about 2 1/2 weeks now and my skin is looking a lot better. I have acne scars and this cream has lightened them so much. They aren't completely gone but they are less noticeable. Hopefully after a couple months of use they will be totally gone.
