This powder keeps you matte and shine free! I love it! And for the price, you can't go wrong. I dont think it comes in darker shades, but since there's translucent, it can work. If you are on the fence about this powder... Go and get it because it's awesome!
I do have some good news and some bad news... so I'll start off with the good. First off, it's very cheap. I believe it runs between $3.50-$5.00 and it's transparent. The texture is great! However, even with that being said... and the fact that I normally like most Rimmel products, I had wanted to like this one just as much as others. Simply said... I was very disappointed with this product. For me, the product did not last long, it left me looking quite ashy, and the worst part for me was the smell. The smell of it was just too strong for me. It smelled like overly concentrated perfume. As someone who has sensitive skin, I prefer products with little to no scent.
This Rimmel product will not be a repurchase of mine.

This powder isn't bad at all! While it may not be the best powder in the world, for the price it really isn't that bad. It does matte your face, but it can tend to look a little too caked on, even when you don't use too much. But, on the good side I have very sensitive skin that powders usually irritate and my skin does fine with this powder. It also comes with quite a bit of product for the price, which I like.
A good powder, overall. The kind of caked on appearance is the only thing I can really complain about!
Since the summer, I've been begrudgingly using Tarte's Amazonian Clay finishing powder. Unfortunately, I purchased it and used too much of it to return before I realized it just doesn't work for me. Even though we're in the dark days of winter and dry skin, I still have a greasy t-zone that needs some help. After I read a few reviews of this and some other Rimmel products, I figured I'd give it a shot because it's cheap. I'm *very* impressed. The transparent shade doesn't wash me out, nor does it cake in my dry spots. Tarte's power managed to settle especially bad around my nose look rather disgusting; I'd spend a lot of time blotting. Not so with this. My main complaint is that that packaging feels flimsy and I can't even get the top to manage to stay tightly on. I also don't like how large the pan is, but since none of the makeup I travel with is huge, it isn't too much of an issue. Considering how cheap it is, I recommend giving it a try, especially if you're a combo/prone to oily person like me.
I LOVE this powder! I use throughout the day over my makeup and it makes my skin look flawless. I love that it really does mattify your skin and does not leave any annoying shimmer or sparkles - or does not look chalky. The price is reasonable also :)
This product is cheap but does not disappoint you! It's really good if you have oily skin (like myself). It last a whole day and doesn't give you this thick synthetic feeling of wearing a lot of makeup. I can really recommend this :)
This pressed powder is just perfect in so many ways! I use it just about every day. If I only have a couple of minutes to do my MU, I use it straight after cleansing, toning & moisturising; if I want my to set my liquid foundation for a matte look, I use it too; and finally, I use it for touch ups towards the end if the day especially in summer. It's never let me down :-)
I don't have a major problem with pores, but I love the fact that this powder gives me a beautiful smoothed and even-ed out appearance. Another plus is that it doesn't require great care in the application - I simply use a generic powder puff (the velvet-like fabric kind, not the fluffy kind) and I'm done in half a minute.
Aaaahhh, as long as Rimmel keeps making this powder, I need never go looking for another!! (Now if only I can find my HG mascara, liquid foundation, sunscreen... etc.) continued >>

I swear by this powder! I have super oily skin you have no idea and never found a powder that would keep me matte all day. Until I decided to try this out I was a little hesitant because I'm not a big fan of rimmel. Let me say I stay matte all day seriously. But you gotta be careful because if you use Alot you can look cakey and pale, only thing I hate about it its the package very cheap.
