At first when I smelled this in Kohl's with my boyfriend, we both liked it. So when I saw this at TJ Maxx, I bought it. Well, the initial scent is nothing like the dry down. It starts out sweet and pleasant at first, but then it smells soapy and horrible -- I almost couldn't believe that I was smelling it, because it changed so much. I just don't think it's quality. It doesn't last either. The bottle is pretty, but how much can you do with a pretty bottle and stanky perfume? This is the first Britney perfume I've ever purchased, and it will probably be the last.

I accidentally sprayed this on myself at CVS. This is way, way, way toooooo sweet. If you want to smell like a stripper, this is the fragrance for you!

I tried this on a whim when I saw the tester at Target. At first I didn't like it, it smelled a lot like the original Fantasy but with some kind of a fruit smell the other one didn't have. But when I got home, I was surprised that the dry down is nothing like that. I don't understand the reviews that talk about a spicy or tart note. This dries down to a soapy scent that reminds me of laundry detergent. I think it would be good for a casual clean smell. I probably wouldn't purchase it because right now I am looking for a lemony scent but Circus is much better than I thought it would be. Not as cloying as the original, that's for sure. The packaging is atrocious and the name is all wrong, but things like that aren't really important to me when it comes to perfume.

Ive been trying some of Britneys stuff lately and I must say I really think she (or her marketing people) really know how to tap into what girls want as far as scents go. I must say this one was a big question mark for me, I love her ICC, but this opened with a loud, brash unapologetic blast of sweet bubblegum, and I immediately thought SCRUBBER!! However an hour later it has dried down and its a lovely creamy scent, soft vanilla candy musk with just a hint of florals, still sweet but not digustingly so. I wont buy this but I do like the drydown so if I ever got a bottle in a swap I would spray it first an hour before I go near any other living human being (or animal). As for the first hour that over the top sweetness was just icky, and smelt like some cheap plasticky teen smell, and I would never take anyone who's wearing this seriously. But in drydown, mmm yum! It didnt seem to last that long though which is annoying.

I figured I'd try Circus Fantasy since I love both Hidden Fantasy (sophisticated orange/cherry musky soft floral), and Midnight Fantasy (deep blackberry floral musk).

Circus Fantasy is not a "scrubber" for me; I don't feel compelled to wash it off immediately. But it is a bit sweet for me (sweeter than the above 2 mentioned).

I've never tried the original Fantasy, so I can't compare it in terms of sweetness to that one.

Circus Fantasy has a fruit punch/raspberry top note that's quite sweet and sharp at first. It does settle down within an hour into a sweet relatively pleasant drydown. Still maybe too sweet for me, with no "edge" like Hidden Fantasy or Midnight Fantasy.

I can't complain about the price, I got a 1 ounce bottle for $28 at walmart. The scent is great, a mix of flowers and fruit punch. But, the lasting power isn't very good. About an hour, the scent just disappears. I wouldn't buy this again, even though it smells nice, because I waste alot of product repsraying throughout the day in order to smell it.

Circus Fantasy is the least of the line so far, IMO. I sprayed it on and for a brief moment the opening was a bit reminiscent (to me) of the fruity opening of original Fantasy. Over the next few minutes it segued into a sharp and oversimplified citrus paired with some seriously nondescript florals, and began to fade so rapidly that after an hour I had a difficult time detecting it. It seems to me like the result of an unfortunate clash of chemistry, which happens fairly often for me.
In spite of today's sampling (and that for Hidden Fantasy, which was only slightly better) I will continue to remain optimistic about the future offerings in the line, sooner or later there's bound to be another killer. I will keep trying them as long as they keep being made - no sale for this one.

Once again a very pretty bottle and a good smelling Britney Spears perfume. This one is lighter smelling on me than Midnight Fantasy and Curious. I could re-spray after about 4 hours because it's a softer scent. The floral dominates the fruit smell on me. Fair price.

All eyes will be on u when u wear Circus Fantasy!! Its something totally different from the other 3 Fantasies. Its a fresh fruity floral. Its like summer in a bottle. Its the most fruity of the Fantasies. Id say its Britneys first real fresh fruity scent. Id call it Light Blues younger sister. The raspberry in the top notes is so tart and delicious. It isnt overly sweet at all. Its not Ed Hardy or one of Paris Hiltons scents. You do get a little vanilla and creaminess in the bottom notes. It goes well w/ the fresh raspberry and apricot notes. Its just fun, bright, and simple. The packaging and bottle have to be my favorite from the Fantasies. Its so cute and fun. When you open the box, Britney pops out!! I LOVE it!!! I have 2 bottles but I know I'll need more!!! Keep the Fantasies coming Britney!! : )
