I love lavanila, but the deodorant is mediocre. It smells wonderful, has natural ingredients, etc, but wears off quickly and doesn't even mask heavy sweating. It's more like a fragrant underarm butter. I'll try it with a deodorant crystal, but I'm still looking for a really nice, natural deodorant.

I wish I didn't love this so much because it really isn't cheap at $18-25 a bottle!
I have tried both the pure vanilla scent and the vanilla lavender and both are quite lovely. I prefer the pure vanilla as it is asingular note and smells more natural and neutral. If you are working out of expect to be sweating a lot, don't expect this to work. It's made for those of us who don't like to stop ourselves from sweating with chemicals but still want to smell pretty and stay healthy.

I'm on my third tube of this. I love it. The fact is, I can't use antiperspirant. It doesn't work on me. I sweat like a pig anyway, so I figured I'd go with a natural deodorant. I tried Jasens, the crystal rock thingie, Tom's, and this one just FEELS the best. It's creamy, moisturizing, and it smells GREAT. It also lasts for a very very long time. The packaging is very heavy and it doesn't feel cheap. I have it in Vanilla Coconut, Vanilla Grapefruit, and Vanilla and I just love them all.

So far this is the only natural deodorant that has worked for me. Most natural deodorants are heavy on the baking soda which irritates my skin greatly. With my hunt to find the best healthy deodorant, I have found that you must keep looking until you find the one that works for you because they all seem to work differently for everyone. The feel of this product is creamy but does not leave pits dry or oily. It doesn’t cake up under arms but seems to leave a velvet coating behind. The ability to control wetness with the Healthy Deodorant is 60-70% and 100% of odor. I adore the packaging as the applicator, seems to get the product right where it needs to be and it looks great on the dresser!
**Has lasted about 5 months**
**This is HG now and I found out you can buy money saving packs of 3 online at LaVanila.com**

I've been using this deodorant for a week and I really like it. It gives a cooling sensation when you first put it on and then it dries and keeps you smelling nice.

Absolutely love Lavanila products and especially the vanlla grapefruit scent which is basically a vanilla smell with a dose of sweet citrus. I relaly wanted this deodorant to be the "one" natural healthy version that worked for me in odor protection but sadly it wasn't. I have been on a deodorant hunt from quite some time now as for eyars I have hated all the chemical deodorants all teh drugstores in the US carry. On top of that they all stain your clothes (no matter what they claim). Then I started trying all the natural brands at places like Whole Foods which had great scents but didn't come close to preventing odor and after a few hours felt like nothing was on. Even the department store counter pricey rollon deodorants didn't do anything for me, had alcohol, or took years to dry as they are rollons. Lavanila was my final attempt and if this works for you congrats because not only are the ingredients amazing,s mells great, never stains clothes, most adorable packaging, adn best of all gives such a fresh colling sensation when you put it on. It has some potents oils etc hence why I thought this would finally work but alas after a few hours or gym or anything smells like I never wore any deodorant. Funny thing is I don't mind the seating and blocking pores isn't healthy but have never had a sweating issue to begin with and barely sweet much at all even in heat, which is why I find it so odd that this Lavanilla Deod or any other natural I have tried can block odor, as sadly I don't think a natural exists that is potent enough. So after bombing with Lavanila among years of not so great deodorants in the US I use Rexona brand now which is a deodorant line carried in about every country in the world aside form ours oddly (ran across it on vaca in London). Not only is it jsut automatically made more naturally than our ds deodorants but has no alcohol, great options for scents, and fights odor night and day through gym, dancing, anything. Now I understand why so many other people who live in US order it like crazy from Amazon, etc. If Lavanila doesn't work for you either and you are fed up on finding a great deodorant I can't recommend Rexona more!

Can I give this ten stars? I've been on a crusade for the past five+ years to find a healthy deodorant that actually took out the stank. And this one passed the test with flying colors. If you're looking for an anti-persperant, look elsewhere- it doesn't claim to do that, as it's really not very good for the body to block its sweat ducts (we eliminate toxins via our sweat)

Anyway, this passed the biggest test I could give it with flying colors- it managed to keep me smelling fresh in humid, humid 90+ degree Houston weather during my period (TMI- when I stink the most). My only complaint at all is that the vanilla grapefruit doesn't smell at all citrusy- it's rather like baby powder.
I love this product so much I may actually write the company a love letter. FINALLY something safe that works.

It smells nice, and has no aluminum ingredient on it (common cause of underarm darkness)...but it's not anti-perspirant. eek!

What a total let down. I wanted to try out a natural deodorant and picked this brand in the vanilla coconut scent. It smells sooo good. I also love the packaging. The texture of the deodorant is also really good. Goes on a little moist but it actually does keep the pits dry. About 3 days into using this stuff, my armpits started to turn red, tingle and feel raw/soar. They feel and look so bad. I discontinued use. As of right now my bf is giving it a test run to see what it will do to his pits ;P . Tred softly, this caused a really bad allergic reaction.
UPDATE: After a couple of days of not using this stuff, my armpits were still feeling like they were on fire. It actually left scars! The allergic reaction was frightening. I've since found the best deos ever!!! Deodorants from Bubble & Bee! Thank God. No more searching.

I purchased this product from Sephora a few weeks ago and returned it the following week! The only thing I like about this product is the smoothest of the deodorant. The smell does not last, and it made my underarms FUNKY. I could not wait to go home to take a shower. I will not purchase this item again.
