EDIT: Horrible mascara. Continued to use and it's just such a pain in the butt. Not worth the effort.
I was in desperate need of mascara so I bought this.
It does a decent job for the price.
The one thing I really like about it is that it really does darken your lashes so that they stand out, but not in a scary way.
One problem I found when I used it, was that I could only swipe at my eyelashes once or twice otherwise I'd get some serious clumping and my individual eyelashes would clump together. Again, you can remedy that situation by only swiping your eyelashes once or wait for your eyelashes to dry and sort of pick them apart. And, the mascara takes a while to dry. I curl my lashes before, and after. So, wait a minute for it to dry.
The cons are more than the pros, but in all honesty, it's not as bad as it seems.
I would buy again because the price is so darn cheap.
This mascara was ok. Coated my lashes nice& even, Definatly made them really dark. But after a month of using this. It started flacking, not very nice. You get what you pay for. continued >>
I was blown away by the quality of this $1 mascara. It's about as good as YSL Faux Cils (False Lash) or Benefit BadGal for me, if not better. Both the waterproof side and the regular side are unbelievably good for the price in my opinion, and I didn't have a flaking problem with them at all. They did a fantastic job of lengthening and made my lashes look really lush. This is what I have been looking for in a HE mascara all my life! I don't have a particularly oily eye area (in fact it's kind of dry) so unless your lids are super oily, I don't think you should be turned off by the slight chance that this might smudge. After all, it's a dollar! Try it! Also, since it's so cheap, no worries at all about losing this in the lining of your purse (or am I the only one with this concern?). Edit: this dries out in a week or two! Oh well.
For one measley dollar, I can't complain about this. You get your money's worth, for sure, haha. It's a very basic black mascara. No frills, fancy brush or any gimmicks. I think it works well enough. It doesn't seem to clump or flake and it does add length. For the price, it's decent. I definitely prefer the Regular formula over the Waterproof one though. That's the part of it that was junk for me.
I'm so surprised at all of the negative reviews of this product because I actually like this very much and have bought it a couple of times now. I've used everything from drugstore to high end department store mascaras and have never found one I could truly be devoted to. I bought this on a whim in the grocery store figuring it was just a dollar, if it doesn't work, no big loss. (I spent $24 on DiorShow and hated it!). For me, it went on great and lasted most of the day. Almost all mascaras flake and/or smudge on me somewhat, and this one did so less than the DiorShow or Lancome! As far as having to comb out clumps, I have to do that with ALL mascaras, so that's not an issue for me. Overall, I think this is a pretty good mascara -- especially for a buck -- so I bought some for my teenage daughters and there have been no complaints from them.
I bought this in brown to try it out, not expecting too much - it did not disappoint. The second time I tried to use the waterproof side, the entire glob of mascara came out in a gelatenous blob attached to the brush and the rubber stopper. So much for that I threw it away...not worth the dollar I paid for it. I love the idea of a waterproof and regular in one wand. Needs lots more improvement for me to consider buying again.

I don't like this very much. I prefer mascaras that are very volumizing or lengthening, and this just made me eyelashes darker, not any more voluminous or long. It really wasn't that great, but luckily i got it for free in the "10 for 2010 giveaway". So, it was really no loss for me. I wouldn't recommend it though.
