DARK. PITCH. BLACK! I really love the way this liner is thick enough to go over eyeshadow without soaking it up. But it's SO SMOOTH! Just be careful cause it's easy to mess up the line on your eye. haha :) The only problem I have is that it's EXPENSIVE! $18!? I could handle $12 but $18. Oh well it's well woth it if you need a excellent quality BLACK liquid liner. :)
I've been wearing a cateye look for years. I am always on the lookout for the creme de la creme of liquid liners. This one is pretty good. When you first apply it, you do achieve a rich black color. It has a tiny bit of a sheen. With certain brands of shadow, I notice that it wears off more easily. I need to layer the liner at times to get a darker effect. As it wears away, it does not flake and break off. It just becomes more translucent. It comes off easily with makeup remover and does not burn. The uniquely shaped package leads me to believe that I will have a challenge using all of the product.
My favorite liquid eyeliner, hands down. It's highly pigmented, doesn't smudge, and stays put from morning to evening (unless you do a lot of eye rubbing). The thing I like the most about it is that it doesn't leave your eye area a mess when it finally starts to wear off. It goes quietly, so to speak. Every time I've used a liquid eyeliner other than this one, I've regretted it. Also, I reeeeally appreciate the fact that it has an actual nice, thin brush applicator as opposed to the felt tips that most other liquid liners have.
applies the most vibrant and truest black!! amazing pigmentation and so smooth and easy to apply. the only reason i'll sometimes prefer my blacktrack fluidline is because it's more sanitary dipping a clean brush into the jar then a brush attachment that probably has bacteria build-up on it. the only way to prevent that would be to use sanitary wipes with every use and that's just too impractical. love the formula though and would definitely buy again!!! best liquid liner ever!!!
I have to say, I am not a fan. I find that the liquid is too watery and the application process is terribly messy. Often the it bleeds to my bottom lid and even gets in my eye. I also have the Radium liquid liner, and I don't know what it is, but the Radium liquid is way easier to apply. I guess it is the chemical formulas or something.
I'm a long time user of liquid eyeliner. I like the shiny finish that it gives. I definitely think that Urban Decay makes the best ones, they're super long lasting and doesn't budge from the moment I put it on at 6:30am until I take it off which is way past 10pm.
The best part of the liner is the brush, the bristles do no separate and it ends in a sharp point. The brush is very flexible so with slightly more pressure you can create a thicker line. This brush is excellent for creating different line weights with the slightest hand, which is the most important aspect of a brush. Though I've been wearing liquid liner for a long time and I do a wing pretty much all the time, its second nature to me now but I have to say that this brush is the easiest to use to create a cat eye. Just a quick flick of the wrist and boom perfect cat eyes.
I'm not to keen on the packaging though. It looks super cute on my dresser, I have 3 different colors (Perversion, Minx and Ecstacy) all which I love. But the bottle makes a mess! On my Ecstacy I accidentally get the liner all over the cap and its a pain to clean. So if your not the neatest person it can get messy. But its definitely not something that should deter you from trying this liner.
My first quality liquid eyeliner. I can only use this on my upper eyelid tho but Its awesome! its true black, matte, NEVER smudges, dries fast, literally lasts ALL day, and makes my eyes look so pretty. A bonus - which i love - is that this product is not a pain to remove from your face (unlike similiar high end eye makeup). However, this stuff will not rub off until you want it too.. i don't need to use a makeup remover, I just wash it off with soap.
Urban Decay's liquid liner is amazing. I don't know what the secret is, the brush or the formula or both, but it works. I have bought many liquid liners and always stopped using them after a couple of uses, because I couldn't get a neat line. This product makes it effortless. I get a straight line, not too thick or thin, each time. Plus it gives me a lot of control. I love it! The price isn't great, but I think it is worth it. I'm definitely going to buy this one again!
liquid liner is pretty tricky in general, but i love the thin brush applicator on this one (i feel that with liquid liner, the magic's all in the applicator). easy to apply, with good coverage and a nice solid color. i do wish it lasted a bit longer, however! i use it maybe a few times a week and finished it up in a couple months.
I decided to give liquid eyeliner a 2nd chance, because I was tired of cleaning my eyeliner brush everyday from using MAC black track fluid line. While fluid line works very well, It was just an hassle cleaning the brush everyday because the hairs would harden after every application. So I did my reviews and decided to give this Liquid Liner a try, and I LOVE IT! The color goes on super dark, darker than black track fluid line and it gives the perfect clean cat eye look if you know how to use the applicator. Thats what I love about this product! With a steady application your eyeliner would look super clean, the product also doesn't smudge which is another plus, after you let it dry for like 20 seconds. But I found my HG liquid eye liner! I recommend anyone who is looking for a liquid eye liner, to try this one! it retails at $18, a little expensive but worth it :) hope this helped
