This is the first lip gloss from this range that I have tried, and it's definitely made me want to try more of them. I find the texture to be very strange but in a good way: it feels smooth and dry, similar to a long-wear lip gloss, but it doesn't actually dry my lips, and it looks nice and glossy. It's not sticky at all, but it lasts a decent amount of time (four to five hours). I found no obvious taste/scent, which I appreciate. I love the applicator! It's such an improvement on the standard doe-foot applicator! This color is pretty sheer, and I find that I mostly just get nice shine and a bit of lilac shimmer on my lips, but that's not a complaint! This color seems really versatile, and I could see it working well on a lot of skin-tones because it's so sheer but so pretty. I would definitely repurchase this lip gloss!
I l♥ve this gloss. Not sticky IMO. The color is sort of MLBB for me, with lilac shimmer most visible in the sun. It has an interesting applicator, it's like a flexible sponge tip thing - I think it's easy to use. It lasts OK for a lipgloss, not that long, but I'd rather that than stickiness.
Out of all my lipglosses this is one of my favorites. It's a very pretty pink that reflects purple and blue in the right light which is subtle and unique. Although it's not super opaque. It's very flattering and I would imagine it would look good on almost everyone. The packaging is simple and classy and the texture of the gloss is just right that it's not sticky but lasts on the lips too. I've already bought a back up because I use this almost every day.
This lipgloss colour is not easily found in drugstores! It is a nice pink with a purple tint with blue/lilac-ish extra-fine reflective bits in it. It's actually very much like Dior's Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss Flash in 557 Rose Denim and the glitter in this Revlon one is even more fine! It's beautiful, easily my favourite one among the Colorburst range.
I hated this product!!! Im so glad I could return it because once i tried it on my lips felt so sticky and gross yuck!! I can still feel the texture and I wiped it off. The color is alright but im a medium skin tone and its not that flattering on me. Also quite expensive for drugstore lipgloss!! I wouldnt waste your money on this!
Love this color of the Revlon Colorburst.......only color I have.
Just went and bought a backup today. Perfect lilac shimmer.
Flattering for most, I believe. Hope they never stop making this color. Next I am going to try and layer over the lilac lipstick that I forgot I even had........ugh!
This is one of my
Favorite lipglosses of all time, HG status indeed!!!! Crystal Lilac is a gorgeous neutral pink with blue undertones. It's a medium wearable shade with blue and purple micro shimmers. It looks excellent on tan to darker complexions but it's probably universally flattering. Blue based pinks make your teeth look very white which I love! The formula is shiny and smooth. Not at all sticky or grimy from the shimmer. The packaging is wonderful. You get a ton of product in this tube and the brush is phenomenal. I have 3 Colorburst shades and this one is my favorite by far!!! A must have for anyone who loves a pink pout!!!!!
I didn't want to write a review for this product until I could get a decent picture to represent it. This is one of those products that when you see it, you know you need it. Thats how I knew I had to purchase this sucker.
I've loved Revlon's Colorburst collection ever since it came out[glosses and the lipstick]. I found the pigmentation ,for the most part, to be exceptional and unique color selection. So recently they released new colors, which I was very excited for. When I went to my local Rite Aid, I looked at the display and scanned the colors. The one that I found to be the most unique color was Crystal Lilac. In the tube it's a lilac-pink and swatched its a beautiful baby pink with fine blue and purple shimmer. It's opaque, not at all lacking in pigmentation which I love.
Ever since I have purchase this lipgloss it has been my go-to. It's great for everyday and also with a smoky eye. The lasts at least four hours[with no drinking/eating]. I say if you wanna try out a gloss in this collection, go for this one. It's one of the most unique colors in a drugstore I have found. I uploaded two pictures of myself wearing it on top of Maybelline's Pink Please. I will try to upload a swatch and a picture of it in the tube shortly. Happy shopping ladies!
Crystal lilac is stunning and looks flattering against my NC 30 skintone. A medium pink with tons of pink and purple sparkles. I wear it on top of revlon matte pink pout when I want to avoid the matte finish and add shine while also adding sparkles. Since the two are close in color the lipstick shade isn't changed with the lipgloss on top. Totally recommend if your into lilac hues (:
This is a beautiful neutral pink with purple microshimmer. It is opaque enough to mute my naturally pigmented lips, and gives me a babypink gloss effect.
It is not sticky, and applies more like a liquid lipstick. While not terribly longlasting, the highshine payoff is great and when it does begin to fade it leaves behind a slight stain (which I like). I do not detect any scent/odour and it is not at all drying.
I do like the long, sleek tube packaging but could do without the newly-shaped curved applicator. It is a bit awkard to work with in the beginning, as it can sometimes deposit too much product on the lip, but I've since gotten the hang of it.
Available in 15 shades, varying from nudes/golds, to pinks/purple to reds/browns. All shades contain microshimmer and retail for $11.99 in Canada.
