I LOVE LOVE LOVE this little bar. First of all, it seems a bit oily when I first put it on, but then it absorbs and leaves my skin beautifully moisturized. I don't use it during the day because it takes awhile to absorb. Before I go to bed, I put it on and it reduces redness and makes my skin nice and matte in the morning.
My skin has been erupted badly because of a few products I've used. I've got some terrible breakouts. Full of grace saves it. It definitely calms my skin down and makes it easier for other acne topical gels to kick in and work better and faster.
It does not break me out at all and I have very sensitive skin.
I just love it and highly recommend it to everyone :)
This is awesome for my oily rosacea sensitive skin..wow....it takes away redness and leaves it so soft...I looooove this so much...doesn't cause breakouts or make it oilier....omg..just using this a week and I went out without foundation....yay!
This is a little gem! I've just had a massive outbreak that has been really hard to manage...until now! I've never been a big Lush junkie, I've always thought that most of there products were for people who already had great skin with the occasional spot, but my friend recommended i try 'full of grace' and i'm hooked. Also after spending a little time in the Lush shop and talking to the girls i really love there ethos, no animal testing, natural ingredients you know the spiel, all important elements when buying products (well for me).
I just put this on at night after I cleanse and let it sink in ( sometimes it takes a while, it is a bit oily). It feels great and smells great and also, most importantly, for me it has helped in the healing process for my spots as well as taking away the redness, that's what we want right?! I guess the only downside is ( if you consider it one) Is that it has to be kept in the fridge cause it will melt.
I'm supper excited about this magical little bar! I'm stocking up!
I bought this a couple of months ago while I visited Lush out of interest- i'm a regular customer there since i just love the smell; i hadn't realised what i was missing out on until i bought this. Cost me about £7 if i remember correctly- which is worth it, it lasted me about 3 months.
I would use this at night after cleansing+toning my face as usual then use the piece and apply it directly on my face (and it glided on smoothly at the touch), i would then massage with clean fingers and go to sleep. Within a couple of days of using this i noticed my red acne marks had began to fade already!! And they were the type of scars that would flare up randomly, it was really annoying and i thought i would have to buy one of those expensive treatments to get rid of the marks.
But this did it for me, i've stopped using it for a month and my scars have flared up again; since i didn't use this consistently enough for it to fade them to a point I'm hoping to achieve.. I stopped using this every so often because of the hygeine, it's only available as a soap-like bar and i've already informed the people at LUSH that this is why i stopped using it. But i definitely recommend it, i'll have to find an alternative to make it more hygienic.
My skin is dry and it moisturised it very well the next morning and made it smooth, however i didn't use it the morning after since when i get ready for school, i have to wait too long for it to completely absorb into my skin, if it didn't it would make my makeup crease and appear slightly oily and sometimes leave a dewy finish.
Overall, i recommend it to anyone with uneven skintone, slight discoloration, not for those with acne though. To be honest; i think anyone can benefit from it in some way! It worked me quite a miracle on my scars :]
I'm going to have to repurchase it for the time and see if it provides long-term reduction in redness, i'll have to be consistent and handle the spots though! The product itself does not cause acne, it's just hygiene, i hate the fact this rubs onto my skin everyday, and at the same time my fingers/hands etc.
Since i went to london for a fortnight and i forgot my night cream (silly D:) I brought this with me since i hadn't unpacked it out of my bag before i packed up again; Definitely reduced redness! If you guys need something that will tone down your redness (scars really) or just need alittle bit of evening out (i said alittle, you can get other things which will make a bigger difference) then this is it! Not much other than that, i'm currently using the Vitacreme B12 as a day cream and the serum to bed since it takes AGES to absorb into my skin. It's not one of those products-to-die for. I could, quite frankly, live without it and probably look back once... and that would be all. I've concluded that if i use this too consistently without letting my skin breathe, it breaks me out. Must be how unhygenic (sp?) the bar design is -_-
OMG - this is the best moisturizer I have ever used. No kidding - it sinks in and leaves skin looking moist and feeling protected. The mild scent is divine. I won't be without this. I am actually going to stock up - its incredible. My hands, forearms and neck are also benefiting from this wonderful stuff. Can't say enough good things about it. Really. And the price is perfect.
Another winner from Lush!
The serum is unusual in its solid form, but it melts beautifully onto skin. I use it at night ...after cleansing with Buche de noel( an xmas cleanser from Lush, kinda similar to Angels on Bare skin, in texture) and toning with rose water( from the health food store..i add a few drops of lavender oil..shake it up and spritz it on) and follow with a few swipes of this serum bar on my face, concentrating on my cheeks, and rub it in( this is a lot better than melting the bar with your fingers and rubbing it in)...depending on how dry my skin feels, i follow it up with moisturizer( Paradise regained, another lush product!...if you cant tell, i LOVE Lush!) and in the morning, my skin is glowy and soft... i love the way it feels and looks!..
I love how it smells, but the thing with any Lush product is, different people like different scents, so if you can, go try it out in the store rather than just buy it online....the only way to gauge how this product( or honestly, any other) is going to work for you is to go try it:)
This is great! I was suffering from adult acne after hormone changes & this seemed to whip my face into shape. It is small & it does look there is not enough to last a while, but I have used it religiously morning & night (sometimes a quick swipe in between) for exactly a month. It is about 1/2 way done. This serum probably lasts anywhere from 2 to 2 & 1/2 months with daily use, more for those who use it once a day or not as frequent, obviously. For about 15 dollars, you can easily use this for 2-3 months, which is only 7 or 5 dollars a month. That is not bad at all. I love the feel; I love the smell. I love the way that it keeps my skin toned & actually has improved its blotchiness. It is much more even. I have not worn facial makeup in 2 weeks. I have been on accutane & years of acne pills/treatments. I have never been brave enough to go with a bare face. In conjunction with Buche de' Noel (will be sadly missed after Christmas), my face has literally never looked this good, let alone decent.
This is a very luxurious-feeling serum full of beneficial butters and essential oils that does what it says it will do--namely, calm redness and irritation and leave your skin feeling soft and smooth.
Full of Grace was recommended to me as a supplement to my normal hodgepodge of skincare products now that it is becoming cooler and drier here in Georgia. I bought it along with The Sacred Truth Fresh Mask and was told that I could use this serum in two different ways: 1) I could use it on its own or underneath my regular moisturizer as a skin treatment, or 2) I could layer it under The Sacred Truth, which would help it penetrate better and give the mask an extra moisturizing kick.
I've used it both ways and couldn't be happier. Used underneath The Sacred Truth, it turns the mask into a purifying but highly moisturizing mask. Used under my moisturizer, it gives an additional hydrating boost and also calms my skin, reducing both redness and flakes and leaving clear, soft, glowing skin behind.
Now, be aware that this is not a typical serum. It's in a solid form, similar to the Lush massage bars. Basically, it's a small oval disc-shaped bar that looks like pure cocoa butter. It's hard to the touch, but melts immediately when touched. To use it, you can either warm it in your hands and then spread across your face, or you can do what I do--rub the bar directly on your cleansed skin, then rub it in from there. Although it definitely feels buttery on first applying, it does sink in fairly quickly, leaving behind a soft, velvety texture.
The only reason I dropped one lippie is because I am really not fond of the solid form for this serum. It melts very quickly onto the skin, so it only takes a swipe across the skin to apply it, but it's not as convenient as a liquid in a pump. It also seems less hygienic. I had to find a safe, dry place to stash it in my bathroom so it wouldn't melt. Additionally, the smell is a little off-putting, probably due to the mushrooms. That being said, it's still a great product and I'm willing to put up with all that for a serum that is so effective, especially at such a great price. I definitely plan to use this throughout the cooler months...we'll see what happens as the weather gets warmer.
LOVE THIS! Honestly can't say enough good things about it.
Really lovely quality, feels very expensive on my skin, much better serum than many of the high end serums I have used. Doesn't break me out (and I break out from a lot of products), sinks in fairly quickly, lasts a long time, helps my makeup stay longer, makes my skin brighter, moisturises and makes me glow.
Really beautiful (for reference I am combination and I do break out but not as much anymore - oily t zone and dry cheeks). I do focus the bar on my cheeks though more so than my forehead.
Cheap in my opinion, I have used my bar maybe 25 times and it looks exactly the same as when I bought it! Give lush products a try, they really work.
Having heard some interesting things about this new solid serum from LUSH, I was intrigued to try it and took my £7.50 to my nearest store.
Overall I think this is a pretty great product, it soothes and calms my sensitive, combo skin without causing any breakouts or feeling too oily. It softens, lessens the dreaded flakies and seems to reduce redness. Pricewise..hard to beat. Delivers the same (if not better) results as some products I've purchased in the past that have been 3-4 times the price!
I'm not too keen on the solid bar idea. It doesn't seem all that hygenic and I don't find rubbing my fingers on the bar seems to do a whole lot. I use this morning and night after I have cleaned my face. With clean hands I gently rub this over my face and smooth it in. Then I apply my treatments/moisturiser and am good to go. I find this works great under makeup too..no oilslicky mess!
I will be buying again :) (though don't think I'll need to for a looong time!)
