Just reached 14 weeks on Careprost with consistent use nightly. My lashes are already long but I was tired of wearing false lashes every day. I am, overall, impressed with the results. For the first 8 weeks, I had "spider-y" long lashes growing on the outer edge of my eye that were impossible to curl but they grow evenly now. I have not noticed a major change in volume which is what I was hoping for. Full results will be noted at 16 weeks. Like many other Careprost users, my eyelid turned a little red (looks like faded eyeliner) but I just use concealer now. SLIGHTLY darker undereye circles (more concealer needed). But, it's worth it for the longer, curlier eyelashes. FYI I STILL wear eyelashes when I want a glam look. Overall, I recommend Carepost. If you are looking for SUPER GLAM - THICK - FULL eyelashes, you might have unrealistic expectations. You will definitely notice an improvement in length and curl.
EYEBROWS - I also use Careprost on my eyebrows. My light blonde eyebrows definitely grow in darker and stronger - BUT - also more challenging and time-consuming to tweeze. Careprost will make ALL areas of your eyebrows grow quicker - including the hairs you don't want!
I 100% agree with Aeon Flux. I purchased once from ADC some Careprost and skin care items. It took them almost 2 weeks just for my shipment. When it arrived it was just partial. There were stuff missing. I called them and the response was that the rest was on the way. I asked for tracking and was told they don't have that information? Finally it arrived 10 days after. So a total of 24 days, nearly a month to get everything. This was about 3 months ago and then one day I saw an unauthorized charge on my Visa that had a foreign transaction fee. I immediately cancelled my card. Maybe it was just coincidence, but I didn't want to risk it. I just reordered from MyLashes4Less.com and got my whole year's supply of Careprost in 2 days. That's fast. Well I'm in Louisiana and they're based in Texas, so I can't guarantee that for everyone, just me. But at least it's in the US and they do accept PayPal and Google, so there' no need to worry. You can' put a price on piece of mind. As for the product. I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. I'm on my 4th month and they're at least 3-4 millimeters longer and about 40% more fuller. I only wear clear mascara now to help condition my lashes. I also used it on my brows and they filled in nicely as well. I'm wondering if I should jump on the chance to try Retin A for my skin since I had severe acne when I was younger and have some scarring. Thank goodness MyLashes4Less offers that too!
Careprost works but that's not the main reason for this review. It's to let you know the user rahotmaia who JUST started her profile on 6/24/13 is obviously only trying to promote AllDayChemist.com. What she FAILED to tell everyone is that every time someone has tried to make a credit card purchase using them, their card was compromised and then used at places like Papaya (a trendy clothing store) and also used to purchase high dollar amounts of computer parts. Very odd...Look it up if you don't believe me. Never buy from AllDayChemist.com using a CC. Use Money orders if you can...or Paypal...or Google cash. Just please be careful.
I actually dont use this for my eyelashes, but for filling in my sparse brows after reading that some people had success. As a teenager and in my early 20s I way overplucked and was left with pretty thin eyebrows that refused to grow back in. I completely stopped plucking, and a year later they were still not that much more better off...not to mention I am a strawberry blonde so my brows are pretty pale anyway...Enter Careprost, purchased from growlovelylashes.com, and a little time and patience. I wont say that miracles happened (hence the 4/5 and not a perfect score), but I will say that this grew hairs back in that I thought were gone for good. It has been about 6 months I think. Ive gone through 2 bottles, and its still working. Im hoping by the 1 yr mark Ill have my brows back. =)
As for how I apply, I used put a little on an eyeliner brush and swipe it on the patchy spots. Not a lot because I dont want it to drip all over the place but enough so that the area is damp. Also I make sure I wash my face beforehand and dont apply moisturizer on my brows. I dont want to possibly dilute the stuff.
I have started using Careprost 4 months ago and I can't believe the results it has given me. My upper eyelashes are curling naturally due to the length it has now. For some reasons the bottom lashes are a little bit thicker even though I'm not putting anything on the bottom, Maybe some residue is touching the bottom eyelid. But it didn't darken the bottom lid. I asked Lifetime Lashes (where I buy it from) if I can apply it on my eyebrows and I was told that some Careprost users have already been doing it with good results. I'm so eager to use it for my eyebrows too. Anyway, for anyone who is looking for a good company, I would like to recommend the company I am buying it from simply because they are very good quick answering all my inquiries, they are located in U.S. with free shipping and free brushes which looks like the ones you get from Latisse not the eyeliner applicator. I was told by few users that the difference between these 2 brushes is that the similar ones you get from Latisse will give it a good spread with just a drop on each eyelid but using the eyeliner applicators might take up 2-3 drops to cover just one eyelid. And also lifetime lashes provides a very informative brochure which is great for first timers. My friends and I bought a package of 10 bottles from them and we got it for only $26 a bottle with free shipping! That's a great deal!
This product is amazing my lashes are darker and longer, I did my belief the rave reviews but to the plunge as I can't stand falsies, I decided to try this....love love love, can't stop staring at my lashes ;) I bout mine from Amazon but couldn't find it there the last time I checked soo bout 3 more from www.kliqit.co.uk
Just an update, I'm now also using this on my brows and hairline ;) can't wait to see them fill in as I'm loving the results soo far.
So I've been an on and off user of Latisse, but it just got too expensive. I've heard good reviews about Careprost and just made my first purchase. I ended up buying from MyLashes4Less.com since they are based in the United States. I got the tip off another post here on MakeupAlley. I ordered, and got my bottles in 3 days. That's fast. It was like around $29 each and ships free. It came with nice colorful brochures and instructions which are helpful for first time users. I chose MyLashes4Less because they have good information for first time users. Like Latisse, Careprost isn't right for everyone. There can be some bad reactions if you aren't a candidate. The MyLashes4Less website explains who is a good candidate and who shouldn't buy. I get a feeling that they are just not about making money and is against selling it to whomever. I had Lasik about 2 months ago (the reason I stopped Latisse), so I had questions about restarting. So I messaged them. To my surprise, my questions were forwarded to a licensed registered nurse and answered. I feel confident going forward. Also, I didn't have to worry about stolen credit card numbers, fraud etc. like other sites that ship from overseas because they do take PayPal and other secured payments. Well, good luck to me! If this works like everyone says it does, I'll be buying more. Pictures to come!
I'm very serious about using only the best products and I had used Latisse for 3+ years when I realized that it was just costing way too much on my budget so I decided to try Careprost. I have not noticed a difference in the results, only in the cost! The extra money in my pocket is so great, and I still have my long lashes! My friends and co-workers always ask if they're extensions because my lashes are so long! Also none of the loss of lashes like with extensions! I get mine from careprostfablash.webplusshop.com They only charge $29.99 per bottle, and always have promo's going on if you check their facebook page. The bottle comes with an applicator brush. Awesome company that always ships quickly!
I consider Careprost as a wonder product due to the legitimate outcome it does to the eyelashes. I was a Latisse fanatic for almost 8 months but just like everyone else, it becomes very costly. I started transitioning to Careprost about 5 months ago and it gives the same effect. It does make the upper eyelid a little pinkish but I cover it with eyeliner in the morning. I get mine from a local online store called Lifetimelashes.com for $29 with Free shipping. They also include free applicators. I started using it on my eyebrows 2 weeks ago but haven't seen results yet, hopefully it works! over all Careprost and Latisse are one of the greatest breakthroughs that had ever been discovered!!! xoxo
In the beginning, I was very hesitant to use Careprost due to the possible side effects. I have light brown eyes and was afraid that they would be discolored. I have been using Careprost for 1 year now and my eye color is still the same. I was told by the company i buy mine from that the product is know to be harmless if accidentally put a drop in the eye as it is originally a generic of Lumigan which is used for glaucoma patients which lengthening and thickening of the eyelashes were the side effects. I love the results of Careprost and I'm very satisfied and happy to find a company in US called lifetime lashes who responds so quickly to all my inquiries specially I am from Ontario Canada and had a hard time looking for a legit company outside my country.
