I've always been hesitant to use face masks on my acne prone skin. Recently though, I've gotten the acne under control and have been trying to work on scar reducing...so I figured I was safe to try a mask. I've had this under my skin for a while now and decided to break it out after reading all the good reviews for it. It smells nice and has a lovely silky texture to it. After my shower and washing my face with my Purpose gently cleansing wash, I spread a decently thick layer of this all over and waited about half an hour. Then I washed it off and patted dry, and did the rest of my routine at normal. I can feel a difference already just in the way my skin looks and how smooth my makeup goes on. I used to use this reliegiously a while ago, and never had many issues with it. I'm not sure why exactly I stopped using it, maybe I just got too busy with homework, but I do plan to use this twice a week from now on, and leave it on while I do my homework. I will also try this as a spot treatment and update. Will I repurchase? Yes, but I also want to try the mint and lemon mask and a few more from this brand before I do.
I can not say enough good things about Freeman facial masks! I'm addicted! I suffer from acne-prone skin, & this stuff really helps to reduce acne! I will die if they discontinue this!
I bought the little packet of this on a whim at Walmart for like $1.99. (this also comes in a bigger tube for about $4.99). I loved the smell, look, & feel of this mask. It really cleaned out my skin, pores, & took all the oils out. My skin isn't oily, so this did dry my face out a little. I can only use this occassionally for that reason. The packet gives enough product for about 3 or 4 uses. I would buy this again, but I want to try out some of the other masks first.
I would be disappointed and super sad if Freeman were to discontinue this clay mask. This thing is awesome!!! You can really see how the oil and the dirt is being soaked up by the clay. Before it dries up i'd check and see the mirror and i can see a smooth clay finish. After a while, u'll start to see oil stain (tiny dots). If u leave it on a lil bit more longer, u'll see more and more oil stain on the clay! I was very happy to see them as it a proof that the thing is working. And after wash, my pores definitely look smaller. Just a note, if you have really clogged pores, by using pore strip and that metal thing to push out the dirts is a very important step. Bcs the clay mask doesnt take out hard dirt. It just soaks up the ones u cannot reach or left behind. Goodluck!
i had been itching to buy a freeman mask and i had gotten one for my birthday! i tried it a couple of times and i was really disappointed... it makes my skin really dry and it doesn't do anything for my pores! it's over 10 dollars here in Korea so i was very very disappointed with it :(
this mask is just amazing! although i've only used it once i'm speechless! i love the new packaging, price, and how it makes my skin look and feel.
i have only written reviews about a couple other things so when i write one it means i honestly love the product or i hate it and i need to warn people!
So, Tonight I went to Walgreens after work just to go pick up a few makeup/face items and I came across this mask, I heard a Youtuber rave about a certain mask from the line and decided i'd give this one a try since it was on sale for $3 and some cents. When I got home I figured i'd give it a go right away, I wiped my face with my makeup removing wipes, washed my face with my acnefree cleanser then put a layer of this product on my face. I let it get completley dry, till I could no longer make a facial expression :P lol I then gently wiped it off my face with warm water and a wash cloth and then once it was all off i dabbed cold water on my face with the same cloth. My face is SO soft now! my pores are visibly smaller, its crazy! I love this. I think I may go back next week to get the peel off mask also. ONLY issue is that it made my right eye tear up a bit. Nothing major though, still love this.
For reference, I have oily skin (mainly tzone area)
This is your standard green clay mask so if that's what your looking for then I highly recommend this one! My skin is acne prone and pretty clogged but mostly normal (not oily or dry). Sometimes it does get too oily and that's when I tend to use this mask because I find that it tends to soak up the oil and normalize my skin. It's not a miracle worker but I do find that my skin looks nice and calm the next day though this doesn't get rid of blemishes for, just calms them down and makes them not so red and flaky.
This mask is really nice. The smell is wonderful & inviting. While I was applying it, my eyes were watering & stinging but it stopped after a few minutes. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING A SCRUB OR TO EXFOLIATE BEFORE USING THIS MASK. It will sting & hurt & make your face red! Other than the stinging, my acne has been clearing up.
I love this stuff! It smells really nice and it's super easy to apply. :) Usually, my face gets really oily a few hours after I've cleaned or exfoliated my face but this left my face not so oily for a few days.
It leaves my face feeling super smooth and soft.
